I didn't know where to put this, but I think you could make a video on speed perks and rate them in a teir list, since a lot of ppl like speed. Then trying to stack them as well to get the highest possible. To start if ur stuck you could use Tractor cannon Void/stasis aspects (domineering, hedrons) Exotic armor pieces (frostees, dragons shadow) Weapon perksb(killing wind, mida synergy)
Wrong bout adagio its one of best damage bonus perks and is amazing on krait since doesnt slow fire rate and adds 20 or 30 percent damage and in pvp some shotguns are one shot to body kill
I used to think Frenzy wasn't the way to go on some weapons that got better damage buffs, but the saving grace for me is that it also buffs reload speed. If you have a weapon you want a damage boost on but isn't exactly the fastest reload, Frenzy can help to just get that little bit better reload time
Yeah frenzy is probably my favorite damage perk, if not my favorite perk overall because you don’t have to think. It’s just good. Low end or high end content it’s always good for adds, champs, bosses, anything
It's the best perk for endgame content on primary weapons, and because in any other content damage perks mean nothing (because you can massacre red bars in easy content without any damage perks) it's automatically the best damage perk. Easy S tier for primaries and heavies in solo content.
I think Frenzy should be s tier for PvE because it also gives +50 reload in addition to that damage buff and handling. That extra reload speed really ups its value on add clearing weapons, especially ones that can be combined with magazine extending or utility perks, since you dont need a reload perk anymore.

Can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. The amount of perks and applications can be overwhelming and a few of these I should really try out vs my OG builds
I can't recall off the top of my head if Lament already has a catalyst, but I can see flash counter working really well for it. You already have to block for the sword to do its damage so it just seems to have good synergy in my mind
Stronghold Titan main here, flash counter and counterattack are both very useful perks when fighting enemies with predictable melees. My crown splitter with flash counter and vorpal can deal out some serious damage while taking no damage from boss attacks.
For blunt execution regular melee works perfectly fine to active the perk, in the clip itself you showed that you did a regular melee against a dreg and it activated it.
One thing i want to add is that box breathing is insanely good on some specific weapons, for example hung jury can 3 tap at 180 fire rate at any range when it is procced.
One thing about explosive head that I have noticed is if you miss an arrow, and it lands on the ground or a wall, it will still explode will a really small aoe. For pve, this sometimes helps a little with ads spawning. For example, when taken spawn, the kinda appear from right above the ground, so I like to shoot the ground where they spawn. When their hitboxes register, and the arrow is still there, they die. Helps a little for the ad clear, especially something bows don't excel at. This is a lot more helpful in pvp though, because if you are in a gun fight(bow fight?) in a tight space, and you miss, often the splash damage hits the enemy. Just something I noticed, I really like bows lol.
Frenzy is by far the best endgame damage perk because the 15% extra damage for simply shooting a gun is better than trying to get every kill very fast when ads take a good bit of your mag. And don't forget the massive reload and handling boost as well
One advantage of frenzy that you totally didn’t mention is it massively improves reload speed, which overall means you’re doing way more damage than just the 15%… this is basically “S tier” on SMGs like borrowed time that have painfully slow reload and a small magazine. With “kill clip”, you’re basically either dead already or your teammates have already cleaned everything up by the time that reload has happened and with a tiny clip, you ain’t killing much before that first reload…
I think the new slug with adagio can one shot body shot, and the new aggressive frame side arm with it can two tap to the head. I think at least B year on the right weapon
I got my hands on a disruption break, autoloading truthteller with proximity grenade's & a handling master work & I partner it with my range finder opening shot high cal, dire promise. Its to bad I suck at pvp and can't hit the broadside of a barn... hahah 🤣
One thing to note: unless it got changed since then, Bungo nerfed Desperado (along with Magnificent Howl) before shadowkeep by making it deal less damage against pve combatants while the perk is active. The total dps bump is still there, but it isn't as good as you might think it is

I was hoping that you would include things like weapons of light, well of radiance, and empowering rift's, but this is still sooo much research that I now have an easy source for!
Adagio also adds plus 10 range, and it’s also bugged so it doesn’t lower fire rate rn and it adds a 30% dmg buff. it’s one of the best damage perks for pvp rn. Especially on fractethyst.
Thanks for making this video! I didn't really know numbers for some of the niche perks. Frenzy is my favorite since it also gives a big buff to handling and reload speed and it's easier to upkeep in pvp than people realize. I'd like to point out that Adagio got buffed to last 7 seconds now and give +10 range. It's good on some stuff like 180 rpm hand cannons, which is unfortunate since those weapons are awful.
Just a couple notes, I don't know if I would say assassins blade doesn't bring any benefit in PvP, I think the movement speed is nice to have so personally I think I would have rated it higher. A correction regarding Blunt Execution Rounds, while the trait description does say "Damaging nearby combatants with melee abilities dramatically increases handling and damage." you do not have to damage something with your melee ability, any melee hit will do to activate it. 12:16 by 50%, or so I've been told. Correction regarding Frenzy, the time between instances when you either take or deal damage for 12 seconds before the activation timer resets (and the time before you lose it once you have it) is 7 seconds, not 5. Addendum regarding Recombination, any elemental kill will charge it, so that's your energy weapon, your power weapon and also your abilities. Lastly, it's fine having fun teabagging NPC's, but please don't teabag other players. No one likes getting teabagged. It's upsetting, incredibly toxic and obnoxious. It is a gesture meant to taunt the other person after all so it just makes you a jerk.
I remember the Ikelos Shotgun meta. That was when the shotgun was a void weapon and not a solar one. You could tractor cannon debuff and melt with 6 Ikelos shotguns
Ah, the pre-Forsaken days. Those were certainly fun times, if a bit simpler than now. I still find it funny though that Bungie worked the frozen cursed-thrall slow debuff from Warmind and the Tangled Shore heroic public event freeze mechanics into the full blown subclass we know as Stasis.
Also worth mentioning that counterattack uses the same charge for your heavy attack, meaning that you can only feasibly benefit from a singular heavy attack due to waiting for it to recharge.
10:11 cluster is ideal for wide enemies than touch the ground or have a wide center/base with a small head like Taniks. If you pop a cluster on taniks and aim for the head, you usually get all the rockets. However, consistency>damage so I’d probably still stick to other options. Definitely solid tho
Only things I disagree with is the pve placement of swashbuckler and adrenaline I think those are both s tier as they get you the same damge buff as rampage but can potentially get it to you faster and they start off with a longer duration without having to use a mod
Firing line and adaptive munitions should be added to scouts or high impact weapons while Adagio also looks beneficial on faster rpm smgs and autos for some added primary damage perks.
Adagio and Frenzy deserve some more credit I think - Adagio has some weapons it's awful on, but it also has some weapons it's outright amazing on in both PvP and PvE - Fortissimo (slug shotgun) can bodyshot with adagio and it's incredibly easy to activate and chain, and some auto rifles get a lot out of it too, since it pushes out the range, lowers the recoil, improves the effective mag size, and still buffs the damage. Frenzy's damage is also not massive, but in PvE it's basically always on, and it gives _50_ reload and handling alongside the damage - it just makes a weapon feel so snappy alongside the damage, and it works amazingly alongside first column perks that buff other stats - I really love heating up/frenzy: Boosts damage, stability, handling, reload, recoil direction, and accuracy, and all by a lot.
Dawg this is literally what I was saying, I'm confused why he did not rank them higher. In GMs and Master content Frenzy and Adagio comes in VERY handy than multikill clip and all those other primary damage perks. The fact he didnt mention the additional stability and handling frenzy gives just made me go ok, seems like he didnt do his homework

I was using a Palmyra with Quick Launch High-Velocity rockets and I got kicked for not using Impact Casing. I literally confirmed this by asking host why I got kicked and he said and I quote; “bc u didn’t have impact casing on ur rocket”.
High impact reserves will always be my favorite. No thinking required. Works on every enemy and activity. And no timer to pressure you to utilize it quickly.

6:09 bait and switch is really good on the raid linear fusion, run witherhord, a primary and the linear fusion, shoot a boss with witherhord and your primary, then you get a damage buff
Recombination also works on ability kills, so if youre using an ability spam loadout, like thundercrash melee + skullfort in pve, it's really easy to keep recombination ×10 rolling
up till the laast couple days I would only worry about getting weapons with damage perks, Like rampage and kill clip, and among those ones only really focus on ones that are like single action activated, like rampage and adagio. Now i have a funnelweb with Killing wind and Rangefinger and this thing is a monster in pvp. Your channel really helped me learn what works

I've been running a demolitionist gnawing hunger with void aspects that give me volatile bullets for 8 seconds on grenade kill, you can see how this is broken in PvE but i get much less use out of it in PvP simply because it doesn't have any other good PvP perks
you also forgot something about explisove light, explosive light can be used to continue picking up ords if you use devour from the void tree while your super energy is full. It makes EL become a well rounded damage and utility perk.
fun fact, counter use to be goto for titan using crown splitter when heavy attacks do not use the charge system for taking out champs, 2crown splitter titan with counter can onebang a barrier or overloaded.
You got some details wrong. Vorpal is 50% for all primaries vs most roamers, 20% vs Golden Gun. Specials and heavies get ~10-20% depending on the archetype. Frenzy is also an S-tier perk for hard content since the buff pretty much lasts for the entire encounter if you play your cards right. It also provides +50 to handling and reload, a bonus that is valuable for dealing with Champions. For PvP it's too niche. Also keep in mind that Adagio is pretty strong with certain set-ups. It lets slugs kill in one bodyshot after a singular kill in PvP, extends the effective range of your weapons, and also makes rapid-fire weapon recoil way more manageable while also making them kill faster.
Also, adreanaline junkie can proc while the weapon is stowed , witch makes it more versatile than the other damage perks . You can even stow it with the buff active and it will still be up when u swap back, you cannot do that with swashbuckler . Swashbuckler requires the weapon to be out.
I used to use my Quickfang with En Garde quite often due to how fun it is chunking enemies with a quick swap heavy attack. Nowadays I'm occupied using other weapons, but I personally think people underestimate the benefits of the perk when paired with Tireless Blade.
Adagio is really good on 180 rpm handcannons as it makes them 150rpm handcannons while still being a precision frame. And people are wrong about the funnelweb god roll for PvE frenzy would pair better with perpetual motion.
I find headseeker really good in pvp, it is always up and I can two burst consistently. I have thousands of pvp kills with it on stars and shadows and would pick it over kill clip.
One for all is an s tier perk and way better than rampage because you forgot something. To make rampage more viable u need to run rampage spec. For ofa you can throw on minor spec which is a 7.5% damage increase. Which stacks with ofa making it a 45% increase against minors.
I actually just started using hung jury in the crucible with box breathing. If you can get it going, it’s a .67 ttk. Ultra deadly in longer ranged maps.
*looks at my Dual Loader and Adagio Wastelander M5* Yeah no, I'm still using this with my NBP build on my Titan. Also, it's 7 seconds on Adagio, not 5.
Golden Tricorn on Explosive Personality has godlike synergy with Heart of Inmost Light and bottom tree hammers. Combo that with font of might, and I’ve been burning the world to its knees
Adagio is way too low. One shot body slug shotguns, body shot linears, range buff, lasts longer than kill clip, plus it makes certain weapon archetypes kill faster not slower. It should definitely be a B or C tier, it's bad on some weapons but S tier on others.
just gonna leave this here cuz it got mentioned early in the video and not a lot of people are aware: Bungie doesn't put the damage increase numbers in the game largely because the game has to be localized into dozens of languages, so theoretically every single time they adjusted any perk it would have to go through way more channels and thus slow down development even more, and the tech isn't there to just have the text reference the built in tables. The More You Know!
Are you sure about En Guards reactivation requirements? -I tried it out last week and was able to Heavy swing -swap to another weapon , and after like 1 to 1,5 secs swapped back and i had the buff again. So its faster than auto loading holster. This would have been the better perk to chase on the fallen guillotine -rip light gg says the dmg buff is 50% but that might be wrong i forgot to test that.
Unstopable Force is nice to increase your damage per shot for the cost of 1 shot hitting a target, your start blocking and take very little damage and hit things from afar, yeah melee hits getting the effect would be great, but for being able to increase ranged damage for very little effort is very nice
New smg is going to get focused fury! Budget tarrabuh incoming. Next season it will have 23 meters of range flat with 15 zoom. For sure going to be a good pick if you don't have a good smg.
Even being lower I like frenzy because it buffs the reloads aswell which opens the left collumn for something else(like demolitionist or subsistance for example)
I think every one is sleeping on adagio on certain weapons, the fortissimo slug one hits body with it active and the likely suspect fusion gets like a 4 bolt kill with it active. I have been using the fortissimo A LOT. It just runs through sixes

Unstoppable force is actually not so bad. You can shoot and raise a shield at the same time (what you did not...you canceled the shield while shooting for some reason). With recent glaive buff to fully charge the energy line and in combo with "immovable object" perk you can constantly take the benefit. But glaives' damage itself is a lot worse then any other special weapon in the game, so if I need to shoot something I prefer just take my fusion rifle and not to worry about anything.
You're thinking about Redirection all wrong. You don't need to focus on gaining stacks because you gain the stacks passively as you use the weapon normally. Just clear mobs like normal and then when you come across a yellow bar you'll melt it.
Hear me out: a breachload gl with spike nades, impulse amplifier and full court. Basically discount mountaintop but requires skill to make the most of it

It really helps make loud lullaby. That weapon reloads so slow that frenzy really just makes it usable.

In all fairness I think of Headseeker in PvP more as a consistency perk like moving target than a damage perk.
But. Moving target gives permanent aim assistance and head seeker doesn't really do anything

It really depends on wether I have lucent blade active or not. Also on how often the boss attacks.

Weapons of light from bubble is 25%, empowering rift is 20%, well is 25%, banner shield weapons of light is 40%

Also worth mentioning that counterattack uses the same charge for your heavy attack, meaning that you can only feasibly benefit from a singular heavy attack due to waiting for it to recharge.
10:11 cluster is ideal for wide enemies than touch the ground or have a wide center/base with a small head like Taniks. If you pop a cluster on taniks and aim for the head, you usually get all the rockets. However, consistency>damage so I’d probably still stick to other options. Definitely solid tho
Box breathing synergizes decently with higher charge time linear fusion rifles. The time for it to reproc can get pretty close to it's fire rate
Only things I disagree with is the pve placement of swashbuckler and adrenaline I think those are both s tier as they get you the same damge buff as rampage but can potentially get it to you faster and they start off with a longer duration without having to use a mod
Firing line and adaptive munitions should be added to scouts or high impact weapons while Adagio also looks beneficial on faster rpm smgs and autos for some added primary damage perks.

Adagio and Frenzy deserve some more credit I think -
Adagio has some weapons it's awful on, but it also has some weapons it's outright amazing on in both PvP and PvE - Fortissimo (slug shotgun) can bodyshot with adagio and it's incredibly easy to activate and chain, and some auto rifles get a lot out of it too, since it pushes out the range, lowers the recoil, improves the effective mag size, and still buffs the damage.
Frenzy's damage is also not massive, but in PvE it's basically always on, and it gives _50_ reload and handling alongside the damage - it just makes a weapon feel so snappy alongside the damage, and it works amazingly alongside first column perks that buff other stats - I really love heating up/frenzy: Boosts damage, stability, handling, reload, recoil direction, and accuracy, and all by a lot.
Dawg this is literally what I was saying, I'm confused why he did not rank them higher. In GMs and Master content Frenzy and Adagio comes in VERY handy than multikill clip and all those other primary damage perks. The fact he didnt mention the additional stability and handling frenzy gives just made me go ok, seems like he didnt do his homework
I like adagio in pvp on my 180s, I find it's way easier to hit headshots with its recoil animation

Guess again. I was using a Palmyra with Quick Launch High-Velocity rockets and I got kicked for not using Impact Casing. I literally confirmed this by asking host why I got kicked and he said and I quote; “bc u didn’t have impact casing on ur rocket”.
High impact reserves will always be my favorite. No thinking required. Works on every enemy and activity. And no timer to pressure you to utilize it quickly.

6:09 bait and switch is really good on the raid linear fusion, run witherhord, a primary and the linear fusion, shoot a boss with witherhord and your primary, then you get a damage buff
Recombination also works on ability kills, so if youre using an ability spam loadout, like thundercrash melee + skullfort in pve, it's really easy to keep recombination ×10 rolling

up till the laast couple days I would only worry about getting weapons with damage perks, Like rampage and kill clip, and among those ones only really focus on ones that are like single action activated, like rampage and adagio. Now i have a funnelweb with Killing wind and Rangefinger and this thing is a monster in pvp. Your channel really helped me learn what works
Thanks for hard work on this video. I do disagree much with one thing: Frenzy is definately s-tier PvE perk as it increases reload so much + good luck with any other damage perk in GMs or Master raids.
I can see S tier, it was on the border for me. I think the value increases a lot as the difficulty scales up

For Adagio they buffed it. 7s, +10 range and most weapons get +30% dmg
I've been running a demolitionist gnawing hunger with void aspects that give me volatile bullets for 8 seconds on grenade kill, you can see how this is broken in PvE but i get much less use out of it in PvP simply because it doesn't have any other good PvP perks
Assassin’s Blade is one of my favorite Sword perks. That extra sprint speed is clutch.

you also forgot something about explisove light, explosive light can be used to continue picking up ords if you use devour from the void tree while your super energy is full. It makes EL become a well rounded damage and utility perk.
fun fact, counter use to be goto for titan using crown splitter when heavy attacks do not use the charge system for taking out champs, 2crown splitter titan with counter can onebang a barrier or overloaded.
You got some details wrong. Vorpal is 50% for all primaries vs most roamers, 20% vs Golden Gun. Specials and heavies get ~10-20% depending on the archetype.
Frenzy is also an S-tier perk for hard content since the buff pretty much lasts for the entire encounter if you play your cards right. It also provides +50 to handling and reload, a bonus that is valuable for dealing with Champions. For PvP it's too niche.
Also keep in mind that Adagio is pretty strong with certain set-ups. It lets slugs kill in one bodyshot after a singular kill in PvP, extends the effective range of your weapons, and also makes rapid-fire weapon recoil way more manageable while also making them kill faster.
Also, adreanaline junkie can proc while the weapon is stowed , witch makes it more versatile than the other damage perks . You can even stow it with the buff active and it will still be up when u swap back, you cannot do that with swashbuckler . Swashbuckler requires the weapon to be out.
I used to use my Quickfang with En Garde quite often due to how fun it is chunking enemies with a quick swap heavy attack. Nowadays I'm occupied using other weapons, but I personally think people underestimate the benefits of the perk when paired with Tireless Blade.
Adagio is really good on 180 rpm handcannons as it makes them 150rpm handcannons while still being a precision frame. And people are wrong about the funnelweb god roll for PvE frenzy would pair better with perpetual motion.
I find headseeker really good in pvp, it is always up and I can two burst consistently. I have thousands of pvp kills with it on stars and shadows and would pick it over kill clip.
I personally like adagio and there is so many ways to buff it that it probably will get a good buff.
One for all is an s tier perk and way better than rampage because you forgot something. To make rampage more viable u need to run rampage spec. For ofa you can throw on minor spec which is a 7.5% damage increase. Which stacks with ofa making it a 45% increase against minors.
I actually just started using hung jury in the crucible with box breathing. If you can get it going, it’s a .67 ttk. Ultra deadly in longer ranged maps.

Golden Tricorn on Explosive Personality has godlike synergy with Heart of Inmost Light and bottom tree hammers. Combo that with font of might, and I’ve been burning the world to its knees

Adagio is way too low. One shot body slug shotguns, body shot linears, range buff, lasts longer than kill clip, plus it makes certain weapon archetypes kill faster not slower. It should definitely be a B or C tier, it's bad on some weapons but S tier on others.
Uh, what's a slug that rolls adagio? All I know is fractethyst, and that's a pellet precision shotty

I agree for sure, I have been using fortissimo and likely suspect both with adagio, turns them into absolute monsters after a kill.
just gonna leave this here cuz it got mentioned early in the video and not a lot of people are aware: Bungie doesn't put the damage increase numbers in the game largely because the game has to be localized into dozens of languages, so theoretically every single time they adjusted any perk it would have to go through way more channels and thus slow down development even more, and the tech isn't there to just have the text reference the built in tables. The More You Know!
Are you sure about En Guards reactivation requirements? -I tried it out last week and was able to Heavy swing -swap to another weapon , and after like 1 to 1,5 secs swapped back and i had the buff again. So its faster than auto loading holster.
This would have been the better perk to chase on the fallen guillotine -rip
light gg says the dmg buff is 50% but that might be wrong i forgot to test that.
From a balance perspective Adagio is how damage perks should be, in that they should have negatives that come with the positives.
Unstopable Force is nice to increase your damage per shot for the cost of 1 shot hitting a target, your start blocking and take very little damage and hit things from afar, yeah melee hits getting the effect would be great, but for being able to increase ranged damage for very little effort is very nice
I enjoy frenzy on my syncopation 🙏 allows for easy two burst and enables me to be a bit for involved in gunfights
Flash counter gives everyone extra damage. If you do it right it fully blocks the damage taken fully, even knockback
New smg is going to get focused fury! Budget tarrabuh incoming. Next season it will have 23 meters of range flat with 15 zoom. For sure going to be a good pick if you don't have a good smg.
I like a Adagio on rapid fire weapons if I’m not using them for specific builds so it’s just the mindless spray and pray.
Adagio on slugs does 196 damage, killing anyone with ~5 resil or lower, so if you’re up against a hunter 3 stack slap on an adagio slug
Cluster bombs is good if you can decrease your blast radius significantly like the Unto Dust 00 from D1. But yeah, i agree
A thing that wasn't touched on for AP rounds is that it allows the bullet to pentrate the target, meaning you can hit another enemy behind them.
Even being lower I like frenzy because it buffs the reloads aswell which opens the left collumn for something else(like demolitionist or subsistance for example)

I think every one is sleeping on adagio on certain weapons, the fortissimo slug one hits body with it active and the likely suspect fusion gets like a 4 bolt kill with it active. I have been using the fortissimo A LOT. It just runs through sixes

High cal is good for PvP because it delivers a bit of extra flinch, but as far as I know it doesn’t actually provide any extra damage

Unstoppable force is actually not so bad. You can shoot and raise a shield at the same time (what you did not...you canceled the shield while shooting for some reason). With recent glaive buff to fully charge the energy line and in combo with "immovable object" perk you can constantly take the benefit. But glaives' damage itself is a lot worse then any other special weapon in the game, so if I need to shoot something I prefer just take my fusion rifle and not to worry about anything.

You're thinking about Redirection all wrong. You don't need to focus on gaining stacks because you gain the stacks passively as you use the weapon normally. Just clear mobs like normal and then when you come across a yellow bar you'll melt it.

Blunt execution rounds does not need a melee charge, it just needs a melee hit

Hear me out: a breachload gl with spike nades, impulse amplifier and full court. Basically discount mountaintop but requires skill to make the most of it
