Bro, your settings in general and for the Natural color profile are all I use for the moment. Thank you. Still learning more about the nitty gritty of being a photographer/videographer but you helped me have a good base as far as camera settings go so I can focus on the art more.
the real time lut thing i find remarkable, but man if they wouldve pushed it a little more: if only one could keep the ungraded log version alongside the in-camera lut-graded one.. simultaneously recording them both. or if you could apply the lut in-camera on the already recorded files (not at the time of filming).

Hey Caleb. Quick question, in v-log it appears there is no way to shoot below the 640 ISO, correct? I know that’s part of the dual native but I’d like to be able to shoot at lower ISO when in bright sunlight. I assume there must be a reason you can’t manually go below 640?
Regarding the shutter angle 180 - what does that mean for motion blur? I’m a noob and I heard you should record 1/50th for 25fps for natural motion blur with an nd filter. I’m so confused!
Im not sure if you know the answer to this. I recently upgraded from the gh5 to the s5ii. When i rec audio, lay it on the timeline. It sounds fine. But, after I export my video, the audio is nothing but a buzzing sound. Never had this problem with Gh5. Idk if it's something in my settings that needs to be changed or what.
Use the 8-bit recording mode. Then you can record for more than 30 min. That's how it works on my original s5, I think it's the same on the mark ii version.
setting ANGL/ISO 180 is not ideal when there are led lamps or monitors there is flickering, so it can not be used all the time, it needs to be corrected
Talking about slow motion BTW... Lumix S5II and S5IIX don't have new Phase Detect AF in 1080p full frame 50,60,100 and 120 FPS but only old Contrast AF which is the biggest disappointment... So for some reason people who prefer to shoot 1080p FF in slow-mo from 50 to 120 fps they should do that with old glitchy Contrast base AF. Same for all of those who were hoping to upscale 1080p 50-120 fps to 4k - no PDAF. And taking into account it's a video-oriented hybrid camera, it looks like without a firmware update in the next several months almost perfect camera becomes garbage. I preordered S5IIX and now looking forward to the firmware update. Hope they will fix it by the time S5IIX ships. If not - will just move to another brand.
S5 only has 150mbit in 4k , gh5 laughs at this. Gh6 with its great bitrates should have much better quality or do bitrates suddenly dont matter anymore? 150 is very poor in my eyes. Remember gh5 had 400 in alli . S5 has long gop only if i remember right.

I just got my S5ii and set it to angle/iso, but it says 15 degrees not 180 like yours/. Any idea what I'm missing?
Yes, you need to adjust the angle with the same dial you would adjust shutter speed as.

why do you set 640 iso and not 100 iso?
Set in low
