Welcome to one of the most beloved and memorable shoot'em ups for the NES console, time for Konami's Life Force! A really fun, classic and challenging shooter with high quality Konami tunes from the sound team of Shinya Sakamoto, Atsushi Fujio, Satoe Terashima & Hidenori Maezawa, taking Miki Higashino's Arcade original compositions and Arranging them wonderfully onto the NES soundchip. So many awesome tunes from "Power of Anger", to "Poison of Snake", "Burn The Wind" and "Thunderbolt", there are plenty of iconic tunes that all who have played this game certainly love. All under Atsushi Fujio's version of the Konami Sound Driver, likely making him in charge of the overall Sound Direction and Programming on this title, it's a superb OST that certainly deserves its love! And really this game speaks for itself, quality shooter with great graphics, smooth controls, fun power up system, and a good challenge for any NES player. 2:02 When I hear this track my brain shifts into cold, merciless hatred. One of us is going to die, and I'll walk through Hell barefooted before I let that one be me. Come, monster! See the face of the woman who will be your killer!
Things of note about this game: On the title screen, just push ⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️🅱️🅰️ for 30 lives. The title screen doesn't register pushing left or right at all! Also on the title screen, if you look at the licensing info it says "licensed by *NINTEND* of America!" As AVGN put it, "There's a typo in a Nintendo game! "

This one is my favorite NES game ... I think as a kid I almost got a no hit win -
A pseudo sequel to Gradius in the US, great game and challenging as hell. My favorite was the fifth level.
Great job as always, Niko ❤
These Konami music composers were absolutely incredible. This music is timeless!
Anything Konami made on the NES was guaranteed quality, *ESPECIALLY* the music!
Definition of a classic right here. The first time I saw the brain boss as a kid was unreal...great memories.
One of my all time favorites nes soundtracks!
absolute banger, this is my childhood right here
Konami just jamming away with killer tunes!
