Thank you for this recipe! I used to get zucchini fries in Los Angeles from one of my favorite mom & pop burger places and they did the zucchini fries like you do! I could not find a recipe online that was like it until now!
Funnily enough, I live in Appalachia now (E TN) so I’m really surprised how things seem to come together like this. Thanks again for the recipe! God bless.

We love fried summer squash here in Virginia, too. My grandmother used to slice them across like you do, but I don't like turning or flouring all those little pieces. so I slice mine lengthwise. Same great taste, just larger, making a BIGGER BITE!!

I have never thought of slicing them that way, but that would make for a much bigger bite. I may need to try that.

Hi! Love your channel. I can’t see well. Do you think this recipe would work in a hot oven? I’m still going to try frying tho! Thank you from San Diego!

Thank you so much. I always love seeing your comments. I have never tried making it in the oven. It would be worth a try. It would probably work great in an air frier too.

Looks yummy! My momma always made it but I never wanted to eat it because it was "squishy" 😂😂 I'll definitely try it your way!
