Thanks for the video - I'm looking at picking one of these myself so it was helpful. Tiny bit of feedback if it's still relevant: the shutter sound when changing photos is REALLY loud, and IMO entirely unnecessary - we know the photo is changing.
Great video! Quick question: is it possible to see a preview of the film simulation on the viewfinder/glass on the x100f? When I shoot a video, I constantly see everything I shoot in a film simulation, but when I want to take a photo and look through the viewfinder, I don't see the film simulation. Is that normal? I would love it if I could see the film simulation all the time to know exactly what the photo will look like. Thanks for your help.
Nice video, and beautiful pictures! Just got my X100f. A great looking camera wich creates beautiful images. I´m also using the portra 400 simulation. The only thing that confuses me is the exposure preview in manual mode that shows me a perfectly exposed image, but when taking the shot, it´s often underexposed. On auto aperture this happes very rarely. Do you have the same problem?

Great video, Emerson, thanks. I have the X100F and its my third iteration of the camera I've owned. Along my journey I've come to see that each version of the camera produces its own 'look' which is so interesting. It really is a great camera.
Wow these are some great shots. Been thinking about going back to Fuji for the film simulations. You can't get these looks off a Leica and you're right, film is expensive. The only thing holding me back is there is no focus scale or snap focus function.
Thanks so much! And yeah fuji doesn’t have the focus scale or snap focus! The Ricoh GR cameras do since they are more suited for street photography. But if you want to get back into fuji I’d recommend just buying an older x100, like the x100s or x100t. Just depends how much you want to spend.
Hey man! Do you still have the portra 400 recipe that you tweaked? or any links to what you your base setting was before you tweaked it? I have found a few other video but none look the same as yours and i love the colours and the way your photos look! Cheers
Hey man, I love your video. All those photos are so peaceful and kinda retro. Would you like to share how you set your x100f? What kind of preset you are using?
