Trapezoid Segments with Thin Spacers Between the Wedges (128)

This video is part 2 of a video series on trapezoid shaped wedges for segmented wood turning. In this video we demonstrate slicing the trapezoid wedges on the band saw, cutting thin spacers of a contrasting colored wood, gluing these spacers between the trapezoid wedges and then adding thin segmented top and bottom rings to the segmented discs.
Additional videos are planned in the future using what I learned in this study to produce some finished trapezoid segmented projects. The trapezoid segmented discs can be arranged in a variety of unique patterns for these projects. In addition, I plan on making some south western or Indian patterns from these trapezoid segmented discs to created additional new project designs.
