  • Full creation process of the sculpture of my grandmother Cirila. All you can see is made with Blender: Image Capture, sculpting, render (Cycles), even the video I have edited in Blender VSE (I was surprised how well it works). I hope you like it! Happy blending! www.ismaelfuent...
    Music: Corey Cerovsek, violin; Paavali Jumppanen, piano. Violin Sonata No. 9 in A Major, "Kreutzer" (Beethoven)
    All of these performances were recorded live in the Tapestry Room of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is pleased to share this concert under a Creative Commons Music Sharing License. For details see gardnermuseum.org

      Also , just found this vid from the same uploader on realistic skin in blender.

      ;)

    • @josephbrandenburg4373
      @josephbrandenburg4373 5 років тому +12

      @Mariano This is easily doable at the shader level in Blender. Also, The sculptor didn't add skin micro-details. He also wouldn't have done that in ZBrush. He quit working when he felt the work was done.
      If you absolutely must have micro-detail in geometry, it's definitely possible in Blender using multi-res. Of course Z-Brush is better for this sort of thing, but in the pipeline, it all becomes a normal/displacement map in the end anyway. If you're just sculpting, again, far better in Blender to just use adaptive subdivision with a painted displacement map.

      This program should be great for plastic surgery or even neurosurgery relating to tumors and cancers. The artist could predict local growth or swelling and illustrate the effects on nearby veins and arteries or other brain functions.
      With a plausible cause and effect demonstration this could be a very handy tool for a surgeon.
      This could be used in cell implant and facial sculpting for a burn victim as well.

    Nearly mistook this as one of Mahler's piece's, I'm impressed and equally just as surprised that its not.. Beautiful..
    Very loosely reminiscent of Mahlers Piano Quartet in A minor which is one of my favorites!
    Beautiful sculpting to match the music and its highly appreciated

    As someone who's been sculpting a little bit in Blender I just wanna ask, how good is your computer? I mean mine lags just by drawing a simple line with clay stripes at multiresolution 6 :P

      Multiresolution at 6 is gona create so much vertices at start thats why you your PC lag and here he activated dynamic topology

    Sculpting was very good and though I'm a fan of classic music... The specific song you chose I feel made it difficult to sort of relax and enjoy this.
    My personal feeling is it's a little bit too fast paced Plus this screeching of the violin doesn't help much.
    still aside thank you for posting this.

    You can do that with only a mouse and blender?? Do you need a graphic tablet and the pen ?

    • @RaffaeleZarrella
      @RaffaeleZarrella 4 роки тому +1

      You don't need a graphic tablet. But if you know how to paint than it would certainly help. Is really subjective I guess.

    How do you feel Blender handles sculpting compared to ZBrush/Sculptris? I'm currently using Sculptris but I hear that importing the model into Blender isn't straight forward. But I also hear that Blender doesn't handle super high poly counts well.
