Bev. I ❤ the lemon topiary. The black table turned out so rich looking. The placemats in the table , BEAUTIFUL 😍 I love how the table looks, just how it is. What a great idea putting the wreath in the middle of the table. Also on the wall with the plates in the middle. A stunning room. Oh, don't worry about your poison Ivy, I didn't even notice anything. I'm glad its getting better. My friend had it all over most of her body. She was cleaning on her property and ended up getting I more than once. That was like 15 yrs ago, then this past year got it again. She thought she had cleaned it all out of what she made into her perennial garden but surprise it came back. So be careful . Have a good weekend.

I just recently became a fan of MacKenzie Childs. But l am making up for lost time . I really enjoyed shopping after holidays, bc the discounts are tremendous. I bought two gorgeous Christmas pillows with beading and pinecones that blend in perfectly with my living room colors , after Easter l bought an adorable bunny pillow and just recently l purchased a group of three acorns for a fall display. The savings were terrific! The year bf l bought a Christmas wreath also at a fabulous savings.

Fly...you wear that poison ivy as proof that you are out there making your cottage yard/landscape your own! Woman I don't hide my scars or anything. I call them my war wounds...meaning you and I get out there and we do it! Not afraid to get dirty....I luv ya Bev. I’m always amazed at how much you can get in a small area! When I think a vignette is done you add some thing else. It all comes out looking lovely. I’ve always loved McKenzie Childs as well as French and English country decorating. I am a widow now and can finally decorate “just the way I want” but somehow I never quite get there. I have decorated leaning towards husbands’ and children’s tastes for so many years everything in my little place looks “very good”, people seem to love it, but it’s “not quite” what I’ve always wanted. So watching you gives me the “That’s It!” enjoyment that I might have had if I could have gotten there. Lol
My style is quite different, with a soft palette of neutrals, and fairly low contrast. Compare it to a winter landscape, if you will. Restful for the eyes. Where too much detail feels cluttered.
~ But you have created a truly unique and welcoming space. Lots for the eyes to explore. Lots of colour, contrast and detail.
~ And I find it happy and delightful.
