Bev, my eyes were bulging out with every new piece that you found, especially the little table and chairs. I still at 74, love dolls houses and little furniture to fit in them. I had the 1950’s Marx doll house as a child. Wish I still had it, but do have some of the furniture pieces. Your haul is breathtaking! Always, thank you for sharing it.

I believe that little dish with handle is a “nappy dish”. A Victorian term for a small flat bottom serving piece, I think used to pass lemon slices or such, at the table.

Bev I bagged up my brass because I couldn’t keep it polished. I have a vintage brass teapot shaped like a pineapple and I have already pulled it out to use in my decor. I think I’m going to pull those other pieces out. Oh I already got my candlesticks out and used them during Christmas holidays. I really enjoy your enthusiasm and your gift from your husband was beautiful and so thoughtful. I just love the little table and chair. What a wonderful find you have. Oh my goodness I love love love the bunnies. They are so precious. We are going to have a good time watching you decorate with these marvelous pieces.

I believe that little dish with handle is a “nappy dish”. A Victorian term for a small flat bottom serving piece, I think used to pass lemon slices or such, at the table.

I have the art work of the little boy and girl. I love it! That was fun hearing your story. I went to one of those Home and Garden parties and had ordered it. I love the one of the little girl trying to reach the knocker. I agree, it looks like she counts the days till she can reach it. I remember thinking those kind of things when I was younger and couldn't reach such things, lol. Love your style of decorating!

Must say, can hardly wait to see how you incorporate the blue and white. My living/dining area is blue/white or blue willow. I’ve mixed gold, cranberry red, chartreuse as accent colors. Just love how it is a part of vintage history that seems to never go out of style.
