Haha... Brad, my 4 year old daughter thinks that everything is joined with Pocket Holes because of your videos. She about lost her mind when she saw pocket holes on the under side of our dining room table one day when crawling around under it. The day I got my K4 jig, I let her drill a few holes in some scrap wood and you would have though I just took her to Disney land...she said "Just like Brad"!

I make 80s arcades from MDF. To seal the cut edges, use a mixture of 1 part wood glue to 5 parts water and put it on with a foam brush. When dry, sand with 200 and you have a rock hard edge.
I use plaster/concrete primer, but this sounds better. Def going to try it...
In all my years of woodworking, I have never seen or heard of sliding the biscuit jointer down the length of the board. I love it!!!!!! I so enjoy your humor. Sorry about your thumb, we have all done something like that.

Lol our first instinct is to always run to the kitchen sink and rinse the hurting away when it actually makes it worse. I feel you john.
If you add scribes or floating fillers to a built-in project, it'll simplify the installation and give you a better finished look without the gaps between cabinetry and walls/brick. It will also save the thumbnail as no sledge hammer is needed.

Are you planning to do anything with the gap at the top? I know it must be hard to fit around the very textures trim, but it doesn't look fully finishes. Plus, the paint on the wall behind is a different colour therefore it is quite noticeable. Take it or leave it, you're done a wonderful job and who am I to judge I probably wouldn't be able to do half of that you did in this video only.
