I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that sounded a bit crazy. I like the convenience and ease of cereal and the idea of a cereal that is healthy like that is great but damn.
Yea the downside is the price . But most health foods are always more expensive.
@@John_Malecki right. It’s like you are punished in a way when you try to eat healthy because it costs far more to try to eat foods that are actually good for you while junk food is cheaper generally.

Feels like you need to lay the cereal out flat first and brush or spray it with a clear coat of paint or something to seal the pores and the colours - then make a clear shell, layer it with the sealed cereal and epoxy and then do an interior shell so the colour holds and you can do your cuts on a clear / solid surface.

What if you laid out all the cereal on a tray first and sprayed a clear coat on it and then flip em and spray. Then put them in the epoxy??
As for cereals, I think Clark Griswold was working on a crunch enhancer, a varnish for cereal to keep the milk from making it soggy. Should check it out, sounds promising

How about a big ol coffee mug out of coffee beans or instant coffee or both?
Simple to complex:
Push stick out of an actual stick or possibly a carving project,
Sanding block out of sand and epoxy,
Book shelf out of books,
Screw driver made out of screws in epoxy,
Tool box made out of old tools somehow,
Tv stand out of tvs maybe?
Just turn it next time with the bucket still attached. Saves you so much more time!,

Spray the cereal on toothpicks with Krylon Triple Thick Glaze. Let dry then add to the epoxy.

Large salad bowl with 4 serving bowls and salad tongs made from epoxy resin and a bountiful garden salad. Just a thought.

How about making a cutting board out of cut veggies or charcuterie board out of charcuterie next?
Make a Superhero themed resin and wood end table with superhero symbol in the top, lighting in the table top, a power strip built in the back to charge devices, and some kind of hidden compartment!
Make a tool box out of tools. The sides and bottoms could be old hand saws, the handle could be an old hammer. You could go pro level and add a drawer with a 10mm socket as a pull knob...
I wonder if curing the resin under pressure would have worked better. Instead of pulling the air out, the pressure pot compresses the bubbles to the point that you can't see them. We cast pen blanks like that. Might be iffy on something so porous as cereal, but it might work. :)

Hey got a question - having a walnut slab table built with clear epoxy in the voids. The builder wants to use Minwax satin water-based poly to keep the epoxy nice and clear. Thoughts on this finish? I have kids and need something durable as well. Thought about an epoxy flood coat, but that's a bit more pricey. Thanks!

How about a plate or a platter for ribs made from rib bones. You would have to smoke some ribs on a few occasions for this project.
Try a bundt cake pan , it's kinda like a bowl already.
