    In summation:
I believe what I feel like and disbelieve what I don’t.
On what sound basis do you differentiate?
    I don’t know.
    That’s stupid.
    No, it’s not.
    Why not?
    Don’t know

This is the only time I've ever seen Jay talk to a Mormon. Do you know of other times where he does?

It's funny how you can see that the biggest passive aggressive losers always come in with super fake compliments. What is that? Like, did you play out that scenario in your head and thought you'd come away looking good? You just seem like a very fake person. Compliment somebody if you're serious about it. Nobody demands you do that.

Does Jay always have such utter contempt for people who call into his show?

Nope incorrect. He seems to have contempt for idiocy.

Honestly I thought he was pretty patient. The agnostic just restated his beliefs like 4 times instead of answering his question

Dyer misuses "delineate" here. Didn't pay attention to much after that.

not a misuse at all. Delineate: indicate the exact position of (a border or boundary).

Assuming that Jay was being sincere with the person he was conversing with (a wayward Mormon it appears) in this UA-cam comment I will answer Jay Dyer's question.
Firstly, Logical Reasoning is a huge subject and there are scholars that have studied it night and day their entire life up to this point in time and they are still studying it because there is so much for a mortal to learn about this all important topic of mental investigation. Indeed all humans can learn more about deduction; this is obviously true. Consequently because logical reasoning is such a massive subject when it comes to the volume of it, the number of books written about it or could be written about deductive reasoning could fill the entire face of Planet Earth and there would still be more books than that about various and sundry topics when it comes to the academic subject of logic.
So what Jay Dyer is clearly fishing for... if we take him at face value in his internet argument with someone that does not believe exactly as he does... is just a title of some kind for the subject... so here is what I will throw out there.
The definition of Logic is the reasoning used by Space Alien Cyborgs that is so extensive they are capable of conquering the entire Universe when it comes to those who oppose them with these Cyborgs using computer software that makes it possible for them to dominate the government of of all the various different Humanoids in this Universe ... with this software that is used or will be used encompassing all logical mathematical thought which forms the basis of Physics and all other sciences.
If you notice my definition is practical... because logic is an infinite subject because the theorems based on logical mathematics is an infinite set. So my definition gives a Non_Infinite definition. Mentally you could say "This is the place where someone really has the subject of logic that is not just theoretical it is practical." Taking over government control of this Universe is practical.
So there you go, a definition that is workable, though others might have other definitions than mine.

If logic didn't pre-exist these cyborgs then they simply could not come to exist - without the law of identity being in force there would be no way to differentiate them from any and every other thing in the universe.
      It's just silly.

Bruh, it's a simple question. How do you people not get this?
