This is the best demo of this process, for sure! And I LOVE the continuation of one canvas to the other. It's really appealing to my Libra brain (all about balance - lol). Thanks so much and I hope there's more to come! :)
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I want the background to be green and the sheet to stay white… you think I should paint around it or paint the whole canvas?
Hi, how do you flip the paintings and staple the sheet to the back ? I’m confused whether you’re doing this wet or dry ? Because I assume once it dry, it would be hard to flip the sheet to the back and then staple it ?
Great video!! I wanted to do this with a dark brown sheet on a white canvas instead - do you think that would work or would there be leftover white residue from the modpodge?
Thank you! I don’t think so if you saturate it evenly(may just make the color a bit matte) but I’m not 100% positive. I would take a small piece of fabric and add it to a tiny canvas as a tester. I did this before doing the larger version!
That looks really cool but how would it look if you added some pain? Have you done this before with paint? U I have a very old tablecloth that was my mother's and its starting to fall apart, you gave me the idea that I could make 4 of these out of the tablecloth for each of my siblings and myself. But I'd like to incorporate some color. What do you think? The table cloth is like a giant doily type. (I don't know the proper name) ❤
Such a cute idea! I added paint on it but it was white, you can definitely add color paint but I would add it after the tablecloth fully sticks & dries onto the canvas ☺️
Nice - Video - I live in Australia and am going to try to make this - which fabric did you use for the queen size bedsheet - your description says use any fabric but which one would you prefer ? Thanks
Hi! I’m not sure what exact fabric this was, I just went and bought a queen sized flat bedsheet and used it! But you can go to a craft store and get a few yards of whatever fabric you like (satin, etc) but it should be something thinner, not too thick

Agree with others your tutorial was straightforward and helpful z
Yours seems the least complicated of the processes I have watched. Plan on doing this sometime soon!!!! Thanks for the great tutorial👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So glad you liked it, hope it turns out amazing!!
The best tutorial!
So glad you liked it!

thank you for such a well done tutorial and sharing the exact supplies etc... I love it!!! :) Good job!
A big wow!
Absolutely the best video I've seen. What if you don't stiffing spay? Love it
So glad to hear! It should honestly be fine without the stiffen spray, it should dry enough with the modpodge but I would test a small piece first!
They turned out so pretty! Definitely gonna use this for future inspiration ❤
Thank you sm! ❤️
I freaking love it❤
Woooooooow soooooop cooool, wunderbar, danke dir ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Wow!
Great tutorial ! Beautiful❤❤❤❤❤
Tysm! ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I want the background to be green and the sheet to stay white… you think I should paint around it or paint the whole canvas?
Definitely paint around it! So that the sheet is sticking to the actual canvas. You can use a smaller paint brush for the area closer to the fabric
Pretty
You made it look so easy I have seen tans of videos of textured fabric art but they all are long and to much process.
It’s more tedious than difficult! It’s honestly pretty easy. A lot of people use plaster, which you can still put over this!
Great video👍
Thanks so much!
love this. new sub

Great tutorial! So off topic but where did you get your couch? I love it ! 😊
Thank you sm! It’s from Living Spaces, the Athens II sofa & matching ottoman!

Love this! Would it be possible to know the brand and color of your walls? i really like that light taupe color.. thank you :)
Hi! Sorry this was a previous apartment so unsure x

Did you use full strength Mod Podge once the wet fabric was on the canvass or did you use the Mod Podge and water mixture?
The rest of the mod podge in the jar!
Do you use anything that's anti mold?
How can you change to other colours
Are there any specific type of fabric that would work better?
I’ve only tried this one, but I’m sure any fabric that can be saturated fully will work! I’ve seen satin used.
What type of bed sheet did you get? What fabric
Not exactly sure but it was just a plain room essentials flat sheet that you can get at target or Walmart!
What was the size of the mod podge? I got 8 oz would that much be okay?
Probably not, I used the 32oz!
How much water did you add to the mod podge? 1:1 ratio?
I eyeballed it but I used a little more than half the bottle of mod podge and enough water to where you could still wring out the fabric!
Can modeling paste be used instead?
I’m unsure since I’m not familiar with it! I know a lot of people also use plaster
That absolutely does not look like a bedsheet! It’s way too thin!! This looks more like a sheer window panel curtain.
Bc it’s a cheap one! Lol like a room essentials one
generic stuff
