With fabric you have to make it hard first by painting it with pvc wood glue Then you can shape it after a day. It’s better than this you can control the shape.
Hi, Grace! I'm a Brazilian artist and im just in love with your work! I'd like to know if this material is to heavy when its finish and how I can avoid the crack. Thanks for your attention
I like working with the textures also Grace, I think you might enjoy working with and or incorporating some crepe paper into one of your future projects. Try it out. Thank you for the great video.
Hear me out: Instead of using that plastic bandages with holes. This is what you can do: - Lay the mesh like she did - Get a thin sheet (maybe an old bed sheet) and damp it with mod podge water mix in a bucket - Squeeze the excess water and lay the wet sheet on top of the mesh. Spray Stiffen Stuff on the sheet. Make sure to cut the edges of the sheet a little bit. Wait overnight - Next day, the sheet will be dry, apply your plaster filler mixture like she does.
Can you tell me what wire mesh you use? I've purchassed several and they are not bendable. Also where do you purchase it? Thanks in advance for letting me know.
Can you please tell me the size and brand of mesh that you use? I have received 3 different rolls and none of them bend like yours. Also where you purchase it. Thanking you in advance for your information.
Plaster Bandages, they are meant for Cast Making to heal broken bones, but work great for this too. But you can use strips of paper or thin fabric dipped into liquid plaster too.

Very cool, Grace....thankx for sharing...but how did anybody sleep waiting till Part 2...lol😄
Hi there this is Soo cool.beautiful work of art. If I can’t find plaster bandages. I do have everything else an plaster of Paris. What can use
You can actually use any thin material fabrics! Just make sure they are soaked thoroughly :)
Thank you 💕
Sehr schön
Does this give small cracks later on ??
How about the weight?
Could this be covered with a layer of resin?
I don't see why not! That would be cool to see
Use a paint brush and paint the resin on thinly so no dripping
Cool
Thank you 🥰
Hola.
😍
What is the name of the piece you put in the water and it sticks to the board and where do you get it😿😿

Qual é o nome dessa tela
🌹🌹🌹🌹
Cómo se llama esa malla?
cheers
I only have one question: What's the canvas for?
Good point! I guess you could just use a regular board 🤷🏻♀️
By the way, canvas is lightweight rather than board😀
