I've only played fm24 for 2 months, so I might not know a lot about FM, but there's one thing that I know for sure: You are undoubtedly the best FM youtuber. Just one question mate, at the start of the video, you only chose two leagues, which are England and Norway, so how do you still get the full player data from different leagues after that? As I've mentioned, I'm fairly new to FM, so I might have missed something simple, and hopefully you can help me out with that!
So, as mentioned in the intro, the player data for signings is based on multiple simulations done completely separately. The game has no way of displaying stats aggregated from multiple simulations, so for these videos, I then have to create the visualisations. For the actual save itself, I have already identified the targets, and we are only progressing through a single season, so the database is set up as small as possible. This allows me to process the game quickly. Normally that would be just the country we are playing in (and custom database size to ensure the targets are loaded, too), but because I wanted to start at the beginning of 24/25 season, we used Norway to start the game in April (it was then removed immediately, which comes into affect in January 2025).
i usually buy arche gray for liverpool but he ges in reserves same with chris rigg must admit very hard to play against there to inverted wingbacks pedro conzales is amazing in all poistions in some matches hes been better than luis diaz
To be fair, I did a Spurs save a while back and one of the Saudi teams came and bid like £115m + add ons for him before the end of the first transfer window and that shit twisted my arm! Weirdly though, it ended up being a bit of a blessing in disguise and I won the Premier League and got to the Champions League Final in my 2nd season 🤷🏻♂️
Aye, if the bid was a lot lower (say under 50m), he wouldn't have been sold. I think the value he'd offer for one more season would probably outweigh the gains. But 100m+, now that's a different situation entirely!
Only recently found your channel and love the content so far! I have a question, is it possible to customize the stats shown for different positions? Familiar with your FM skin for a while, but never knew how to get in touch.
You would have to research for the stats you want, define the boundaries and edit the classes/pizza xmls. I would recommend reading the Athletic article about the pizza charts (linked in the FAQs for the skin on whichever site you prefer) to understand why the same metrics are used for all positions.
@@mustermannfm Leicester could be fun too. In Championship. Still remember when they won PL. And some smart scouting before that. Found 2 yong unkown players in Ngolo Kante and Riyad Mahrez, for example. Moneyball scouting?
Is there any way for you to release the squad view even if there are problems with it? I absolutely love the way it functions and I's a bit saddened to see it not available!
I do not plan to, no. I am inundated already as it is with messages about things I've already made clear in videos and the FAQs (which are present wherever you download the skin from). I do not have the energy to increase that by releasing something that is neither stable, nor usable for the vast majority of people who would download (2560x1440 only, at 100% FM zoom, 100% Windows zoom).
@@mustermannfm That's fair, I was just curious what kind of wage demands would have seen you pull the trigger, because to my mind he's definitely the better option as long as the finances suit.
Probably no more than about 60k for a back up, I reckon. Maybe I'd go a little further if the main striker was someone like Taremi who would need to be replaced 2 to 3 years down the line.
There is at least hope for the Guardians in the near future. Less so for the Browns. And the Cavs will probably get stomped in the first round of the playoffs once again.
I don't know if there's really more to explain than what's said at the beginning of the video. Top 30 leagues, full detail, simulate the season, export the data. Repeat. I only export data for players in those leagues who have played 900 minutes (equivalent of 10 full games) or more. Once all simulations exported, I then removed any players who only reached that threshold in 1 simulation.
I have to say I disagree on centrebacks. You don't want to rotate them if you don't have to, and Tottenham aren't big enough to have star defenders happy sitting on the bench. Drăgușin and Davies are good enough relief. But, that does leave them vulnerable to the inevitable van de Ven injury!
The numbers are the numbers. Tottenham officially had the worst transfer window of any Premier League squad... ...if you base it on transfermarkt's crowd-sourced market value system, and on that alone.
I'm not sure crowd-sourced is necessarily a good way of asserting market value. I certainly take it with a pinch of salt. But it's a good way of picking a team!!
CORRECTION: I said Ratkov played for RB Leipzig. I meant RB Salzburg.
Terem Moffi, Dango Outtara and Enzo Le Fee: The ‘Carry Lorient FC’ trio
Nice to see them doing nice in bigger leagues 😂
In Moffi's case, literally doing "Nice"
Used this Ange tactic this year and also consistently got lots of disciplinary issues. Lots of bookings and suspensions to my players.
To call it aggressive would be an understatement!!
Love this series ❤ is it maybe possible for you to release some updated colour schemes for your skin that you have been using in the latest videos ?
Check the description, sir!

@@mustermannfmWil do, thanks a lot
Looking forward to the Everton episode 🙈
Not sure I'm enough of a masochist for that!!
How about helping Zlatan Ibrahimovic in his role at AC Milan? Unclear about his role, but some kind of advisor to the owners?
It could be a consideration. There are some other teams in Italy that I might want to do first, though!
@@mustermannfm Leicester could be fun too. In Championship. Still remember when they won PL. And some smart scouting before that. Found 2 yong unkown players in Ngolo Kante and Riyad Mahrez, for example. Moneyball scouting?
Season 2 must be exciting and more successful 🤘
For a save using Instant Result, I don't think I've been so stressed. The injuries and the title chase was intense!
great video, waiting for the united version
They're under consideration, but the next one will be outside the Premier League
Chelski ruining our squad gives me ptsd...
I'm so glad I was using Instant Result. I think I might've had a full on breakdown if I watched that game "live"

@ thank you for your response! And your work in the fm community is game changing!!
Speaking as a Spurs fan:
A) Very well done!
B) A little less realistic next time 😘
Just to make it more heartbreaking, if Liverpool drew or lost their final game, we would've won the title
@mustermannfm Oof. Could have been worse, I guess. Could have been Arsenal.
To be fair, they do have a more recent history of bottling titles!!
Brilliant work mate! Chelsea owning Spurs 🥰 Some things never change #COYB
Absolutely disgraceful scenes. Lukaku blocking Vicario kicking it out because he was injured. Shocking.
Big Ivan wins that team the title. I’d have paid the extra £12m!
Maybe. Maybe not. We'll never find out!
We need one for united😅
They're under consideration, but the next one will be outside the Premier League
Classic Spurs! Out of interest, what kind of wage demands would have led you to sign Ratkov over Simms?
Ratkov wanted 85k minimum. Putting him on around or more than Moffi (depending on how negotiations would've gone)

Unfortunately the Guardians didn’t make it! And the Browns are a sorry mess. Let’s try and find solace in FM. 😢

How do you run the simulations and create that single database you use for videos like these? Is there a tutorial?

HEY WHO SAID WE NEEDED FIXING?! 😂😂
Great vid as always mate, COYS 🤍
transfermarkt.com - it's all their fault 😂
Not enough "mate" to be true Angeball
A fair criticism. I will endeavour to do better next time, mate!
Harry Pickering.
Who?
HARRY PICKERING!!!!
Harry "Red Card Waiting" Pickering
Very realistic! Poor Tottemham.
It's like 2015/16 all over again!
Tottenham’s squad lacks centerback and winger depth
Still much stronger than Man Utd’s squad 😂
