    Hope you enjoy this tactical masterclass, let us know if there are any other styles you would like us to focus on?

    Loved this one! Very analytical, just the way I like it! Going to watch the possession one now...

      Oh nice! Thanks for the lovely feedback. The possession one works really well still to this day

    I enjoyed your videos and have learned a lot, but one caveat is to check the teamwork attribute of the team, bc a tactic with many instructions will need a team that has a high teamwork attribute so that players will follow what we ask of them.
    I think roles and duties already take care of most of one would want to do on it's own, but like the flexibility of setting up additional instruction gives you.

    Great vid bud, I'd like to do this with a lower league team, what would you suggest replacements for the Treq and Rd as my lowly division 2 team won't have anyone who could do it.
    Also, wingplay would be fun to see.

      Wing play is on the list! Putting some research together as we speak. Yeah those roles are tricky for lower league. I’d potentially keep a treq, or at least try it out. Swap up for two inverted wingers, it’ll keep them in the channels and in theory in space to create

    if you used midblock or lowblock and having few direct pass set on few players capable for long passing, its automatically you create tactics with counter attacks in natural way, dont just switch on counter on tactics menu, trust me

      What u mean? U've seen better counter attacks without the counter instruction on?

    Good video! Can you use a tactic like this for a whole season or is it only be good for when you're the underdog? I'd love to see a follow up about how to use these principles against different formations or how to adjust the tactics long term. It looked like you abandoned the marking opponents idea, but going more in depth about how to counter certain opponents would be cool.

      I tested for the season and it did well, but not ‘overpowered’, which isn’t to be expected. You’re spot on, I would use it on a game by game basis - underdog status. I did touch upon the marking opponents, I was going to go further in depth but the man to man marking affected the tactic too much. Went against the disciplined nature. I gave an example in the Man Utd game how I do it on a case by case basis. Thanks for watching 💙

    Id say what helps counter attacks, is get your wide players to force opposition players INSIDE into your central midfelders who tackle hard. once theyve tackled hard, direct balls into the space vacated (where your wingers will be after forcing their wide defenders inside) is perfect for getting straight into their defence.
    Another key thing is dribbling more.....youre picking the ball up lower on the pitch, so you need players who can run up the field with the ball to get you up the field. Even if the dribble doesnt work, they might get fouled and relieve pressure.

    • @TheManagersSeat
      @TheManagersSeat  Місяць тому

      I would do that on a player by player basis. dribbling more I wouldn’t put on the team. A pass is always quicker than dribbling, counter attacking is all about speed. But certain roles 100%

    I'd like to see this done with a team who would use counter attacking, a bottom 10 team in the prem

    Great tactic, was wondering though, if I wanted to adapt it to a 5-2-1-2, Would I change the wingbacks to more offensive roles or keep at defend. Was thinking Shadow striker it treq for the cam, TF or DLF on support with the poacher?

    • @TheManagersSeat
      @TheManagersSeat  24 дні тому +1

      Tweak to your hearts content. Treq at CAM sounds great, DLF more than the TF - just for mobility and where they’d likely be when the ball has been won back .
