Hey man, I'm a mobile filmmaker as well and have had my eye on the LG G7 as I was a big fan of the G6. Was wondering if you're using the Filmic Pro app or the standard in camera app to shoot your footage here?
Nice video. I just bought my DJI Osmo 2 and LG G7, but not much setting that I can set in DJI Go app. Can you guide me which setting did u use? And do you also use horizontal or vertical way?
Can you pls pls pls check? Like 1 minute unlisted test stream with the OSMO mobile 2 and give me the link? Can't find this G7 in any offline store to check it myself(
can you please describe how much more stabilization was done in the premiere pro even after using the dji osmo 2?I mean was it still shaky before you did post processing and you needed to do some more stabilization in post?thanks
@@Gogies777 I use auto settings so there’s no point for me to waste time playing around with the settings. And from what I remember, you can’t shoot 4K 60 unless it’s an iPhone.
Hello, A buddy has the G7 ThinQ. When he records in Cine Video mode the file will not fully transfer to PC. Audio but no video with Windows Media Player. It play fine with VLC. The issue is the file will not fully load into my editing software, PowerDirector 15. I get half green screen and half video. Any suggestions? Camera set at auto transfers files no problem Thanks! Dave
Hey, not sure if it is still an issue, i just got the G7 myself and noticed that too. It happens when you record HDR10 because most programms and windows itself does not come equiped with the right software. It is not supported on vlc as far as i know, but microsoft offers you to buy the codec for the movie/video app for around 1,50 $ in their store (just google HDR10 on Windows 10, should pop up) Also VLC got some problems with high bitrate 4K files (at least for me, so that might be an issue). For PowerDirector15 i do not have it, but i guess similar reasons, maybe look for an addon or just try it without hdr10/cinemode to narrow the problem down
Have you tried uploading your files with the sd card only? If you don't have the files saved directly there, my suggestion is save everything to a separate micro sd card and upload the files from there.
Skevos Papageorgiou from what I've seen they've pretty much removed the differences between the two series in the camera app. Point zoom and graphy are all there.
The RaRa85 you also have a glass main camera lens, point and zoom, etc. The g7 probably has better slow mo and bokeh, if you care about bokeh that is. Although I think the v30 is a better phone than the g7, besides the camera features.
I don't have the option for 4K in the DJI Osmo app as well. I shoot with the native camera app. And for wide angle, you will see the motor so the only thing to avoid it is to crop it when you are editing. Or shoot in flashlight mode but that can be a little discomforting.
It should fly under the radar, 4k suffers from poor stabilization. Definetly a gimble, etc being used here. The cameras aren't that great either for snaps.
Ahhh, thank you for this. Another LG phone that will fly under the radar. Beautiful footage.
I really like this phone too! And thank you for watching 😊
I work selling phones and for me it is so sad, people don't like LG phones and they'll are really good but people still don't care.
Best LG G7 video demo on UA-cam!
Thanks! Im shooting another one with the G7 soon!
This is what I looking for, thank you Man, that was awesome 👍👍
Thank you!
Wow great job! The movie looks so professional xD Can't believe it was shot from a G7 xD
Haha thanks! The wide angle on this camera makes the image more epic!
Superb video! But I find it hard to believe that no post editing was done apart from the gimbals!
This is gorgeous
Thanks!!
Hey man, I'm a mobile filmmaker as well and have had my eye on the LG G7 as I was a big fan of the G6. Was wondering if you're using the Filmic Pro app or the standard in camera app to shoot your footage here?
For this one, I was using the stock camera app
Just beautiful
Thanks for watching!
This one looks really nice
Thank you!
awesome bro , i liked it.
I have the same setup LG G7 and Osmo Mobile 2 used it for my trip to Japan in October the footage looked great with this.
Awesome! Going to Japan next month. Can’t wait!
Wide angle camera awesome
Yeah the wide is awesome!
Awesome video! Did you shoot this footage in 4K or CineLog?
I shot it in 4k auto mode in the stock camera app
@@danielsin Thanks for responding! One last question...how did you export your video to your computer so that you wouldn't lose quality?
I transfer files through USB cable to the computer
@@danielsin Thanks!
Is the DJI Osmo App fully compatible with the LG G7? Like zoom, record button, timelaps, etc.??
Yup as long as the phone is connected to the app, it should be able to use everything. I only find the motion lapses useful.
Great video! Lg is the best for film
It gives the user a lot of creativity options!
Luciano Cler you got it
I have the V30 Plus
Did u use full manual mode or auto for this vedio and btw does this phone have cine mode feature like lg v30/v40?
I used mostly auto mode and this does have cine mode too
thx for this video, Do you know if DJI Osmo 3 is compatible with LG G7?
It should be since you can download the app. You can also use the main camera app
@@danielsin i just called dji and they don't support lg g7 only the g8 and v30,also it will only shoot in 4k 30p.
good job, what software did you use to edit?
I use Adobe premiere pro CC
Beautiful footage man, what settings did you use to capture this on the phone? thanks Glenn, UK
Thanks! I switch between auto and pro video. But even in pro video, the settings was on auto too haha
impressive given they were auto settings! was color correction done in phone?
i'm waiting to see what the LG V40 offers...
Color correction, grading and some post stabilizing was done on my computer (adobe premiere pro).
Hopefully I'll get my hands on one!
Does the G7 have a timelapse/hyperlapse feature?
It does have a timelapses mode. But if you want hyperlapse then you can get that with the DJI osmo mobile 2/ DJI app
I have a question
1.can we make a movie with this phone??
2.how many gb will it took to make 2 hour or one hour movie??
Great video
Thanks for watching!
Awesome
Thank you!
Nice Job bud
Thanks man!
Nice video. I just bought my DJI Osmo 2 and LG G7, but not much setting that I can set in DJI Go app. Can you guide me which setting did u use? And do you also use horizontal or vertical way?
I shoot horizontal and I use the main stock camera app. Most of it was shot in auto so I did nothing too complicated!
Its unfortunate the dji osmo mobile 3 and 4 don't support this model.Do you know nay other newer gimbal that is compatible with the g7?
Not that I know of. I don’t have the LG anymore to test 😭
Dan , how about LG V30+ any video available from your end
I don't have anything on the v30!☹️
I've seen a few video test on lg g7, and it looks over saturated but yours just good and normal, how you do it?
Idk. I just open the camera app and hit record LOL
Any color grading or color correction on edition? The Osmo software works with the G7 Angular?
There is color grading on this edit. And yes I did use the osmo app for the motion timelapses
Impressive,,😍😍😍
Thanks!
@@danielsin , You got a nice phone and awesome transition skills in setting up video like this. That's great work my friend✌✌👍
Overall very nice footage! Except this overexposed sky...
I do not activate HDR10 mode, the phone brings it and ends that problem
did you shoot making of this video?
Do you see gimbal on the frame in wide angle mode? Can you switch between lenses using youtube app (streaming)?
Yeah you can see the gimbal, I'm not too sure about the streaming part since I don't do that.
Can you pls pls pls check? Like 1 minute unlisted test stream with the OSMO mobile 2 and give me the link?

can you please describe how much more stabilization was done in the premiere pro even after using the dji osmo 2?I mean was it still shaky before you did post processing and you needed to do some more stabilization in post?thanks
Not much more stabilization in post. If you’re good at ninja walking with gimbals then there is no need for extra stabilization
@@danielsin nice to know.also do you happen to use filmic pro or have used it with combination of osmo 2 and lg g7 thinq?

I auto everything. So I believe I did not have it on since I need to be in manual mode to use hdr10 and thanks man!
hola. amigo.. por favor me. Podria ayudar.. tengo el osmo mobil 2 pero no me. reconoce el 4k del celular lg g7.. muchas gracias

Thanks Danniel but i can see islow motion in your video and you récord 30fps ??
Does the cine mode on G7 have the same quality as on V30? The camera software is the pretty much the same right?
I don't own the V30 but I'll be doing a full overview of the camera/ camera app soon!
Skevos Papageorgiou from what I've seen they've pretty much removed the differences between the two series in the camera app. Point zoom and graphy are all there.
V30 has better camera software, you can also use wide angle and standard lens without turning off camera app.
Michael Hazell I believe switching between the wide and standard angle lens during recording is the only difference between the G7 and V30 software.
The RaRa85 you also have a glass main camera lens, point and zoom, etc. The g7 probably has better slow mo and bokeh, if you care about bokeh that is. Although I think the v30 is a better phone than the g7, besides the camera features.

I do not find the option 4k in cinematic video.
Anyone can confirm this?
The video recording and editing is called "cinematic".
Ninguém mostra isso nos comparativos de câmeras. Apenas vão em busca de denegrir a marca
Eu comprei o G7 ThinQ, estou abismado com a qualidade da câmera e do celular em si. A galera é muito tendenciosa nas análises.
It should fly under the radar, 4k suffers from poor stabilization. Definetly a gimble, etc being used here. The cameras aren't that great either for snaps.
I'm quite sad that there is no 4k stabilization going on. Esp the scale of regular consumers dont want to carry a small gimbal with them.
The v3o on cinema mode is better
