Hey, I'm trying to find a gimbal to use with my Sony Xperia XZ2. I really like the look of the Zhijun Smooth 4 but I'm worried about camera position and button placement. Did you have to use counter weights for it to work with DJI Osmo 2? I need help. Ha. Would you recommend either?
I think any of those gimbals will work. I would highly recommend using counter weights to keep balance or else the motors will overwork and shut off like it did to me.
Hi Daniel Sin. My Sony Xperia XZ2 is 11.1 mm thick. It is too thick so that I can not mount on a gimbal Bero P1. How do you mount your XZ2 on DJI Osmo mobile 2 gimbal?
It was hard to balance the Xperia ZX2 in the beginning and the motors on the gimbal was so stressed it had to shut off. I blame the camera placement on this phone. So my guess with the premium, it will not work. Maybe if you get a counterbalance?
@@danielsin Hi. Now I wonder if OM5 can work with XZ2 Premium... I have both XZ Prem & XZ2 Prem. For sure - would love to use OM5 with XZ2 Prem due to better camera... But all this lens and power button placement issues make me sad...

No I use Adobe premiere pro on my computer to edit
Did you turn on your XZ2 camera stabilizer? I just wonder if it better to turn off or on :)
For this video the stabilizer was on in the phone. I usually turn it off when I see some weirdness happening

I made sure the phone clamp was evenly clamped at both ends. It was hard to put in and scary because it can fall out anytime.
Please answer us how could you mount it without having the gimbal in the side of the screen....!?
I tried balancing it the best I can. I didn't use any counter weights but I should of to help ease out the motors on the gimbal

hi am using xz premium i have my 4k settings. but will the dji osmo be able to set it on 4k(60 fps)?

is there an adapter for the sony xz 2 smartphone to fix it on osmo mobile?
Don’t think so. The Osmo Mobile 3 should fix it since the motors are stronger to handle the off balance

@@danielsin i find new app with change ISO shutter speed, and full manual on 1080/60 fps try " Manual Camera DSLR pro - cost around 2-3 pounds :)
