Hell yeah, I just stuck some slash Seymour Duncan pros, New gotoh nickel bridge tailpiece and locking tuners. I did a fret crown and polish that literally took almost no work other than softening a few fret nibs. It got some hybrid ernie balls and a bone nut. The cherry burst not only looks great...shockingly so, but now plays like a gibson and I have less than 450$ and 2 hours of time on it. These guitars are amazing quality for the money. It's better than anything epiphone under that 600$ mark.
Well great, now they took your advice and come without the pick guard, so now I get to put that on.😖 Much easier to remove one if you don’t care for them than to install one if you like them. Anyway, even though the prices seem to be going up they are still a very good value while still maintaining a classic look. Thanks for the video! 👍
cool I got a purple ff like that. the action is too high. I need to change out the nut I guess? i changed out the bridge that helped a lot.

I’m getting a buzzing from the stock bridge, thought it was fret buzz but I’ve narrowed it down to the saddles in the bridge. Thanks.
How were the frets ?? Were there several high frets that needed to be hammered down or hammered down and still too high, needing filed down and re-crowned,..ect ??

Putting the Grover tuners on means you have to drill different holes in the back of the headstock I watched one of your videos on the fire fly 338 and ordered from eBay the Grover tuners and now I come to understand after looking at the back of the headstock that I’m gonna have to drill holes I really didn’t want to do that as I want to resell after upgrading this guitar what do you recommend to fit in the same screw holes as old BS tuners they put on the fire flies LPs and 338 ???
Just curious, did you notice much of an increase in sustain with the Gotoh bridge...? I've got a Cobra Burst FFLP but the notes didn't ring out for very long at all when I first got it, perhaps 3-4 seconds (unamplified). I put a roller bridge on it, and that improved the sustain significantly, with the notes ringing out now for 7-8 seconds, but I'm still not happy with it, and am considering another ABR style bridge, so I'm curious about the Gotoh...
If you haven't replaced it yet. Gotoh bridges are perfect for these. I have 3 fflps. Gotoh is on all 3.
