I’m glad to hear how centred in yourself you feel now. You seem so buoyant and resilient. I am thankful for your perfume thoughts and enjoy your energy in your videos.
Thank you for that sweet comment!
That black velvet xerjoff bottle is exquisite looking beautiful. They have the best presentation I believe in all perfumery without looking gaudy. Lot of my xerjoff bottles I bought just because the bottle was beautiful even though the fragrance is just above average.
I’ve had Chypre Palatin for years now. Love that wonderful opening!
Great perfume!
I’m glad to hear you are in a peaceful place :) a very good feeling to have.
Btw I’d love to see a compilation of your top galbanum scents. I also enjoy the note a ton. I think perhaps I’m more interested in it as the star of the show whereas you like it playing a smaller role. That bitter tobacco quality it has is so intriguing. Untitled from Replica was good but it has a sweetness I don’t like. Francine from Francesca dell’Oro was nice but it was a bit mature and powdery. It’s presence in Cristalle edp is gorgeous.
Actually, I don't think I have ever come across a galbanum dominant fragrance. Will check out Cristalle, that must be pretty easy to find. Will look out for some galbanum perfumes, I am sure that The Perfume Guy has something to offer there.
My best wishes for your Family Thank you very much for your help
Thank YOU!
Happy New Year! Best for 2023.x
The same to you! Happy New Year!
Thank You for your video! Just in case you wonder blanche bête means vitt odjur in swedish or white beast freely translated to English… rather fitting name for this complex but also sweet and lovely fragrance ❣️
Interesting! To me it is not a beast at all, it gives me a different vibe, it is gourmandISH and sophisticated at the same time. Love it!
After wearing Chypre Palatin and Mitsouko, one on each wrist from vintage bottles yesterday ;)…Wow! (Chypre Palatin was still on my wrist when I woke up)
Chypre Palatin reminds me in the beginning stages of bazooka or juicy fruit bubble gum and spices🤷♂️ Mitsouko is more elegant and austere. Chypre Palatin is quite playful and flirty (can’t stop sniffing this one;)
Chypre Palatin is one of the most alluring scents out of my 75+ bottle collection.
I have been trying to figure out which note in CP that is quite prominent throughout the whole composition which is sweet, Vanillic, and resinous. Could this be the “Tolu Balsam” or “Styrax”?
I don't know what it could be. I think it has to do with the composition. It is not a typical classic amber fragrance and it is not a soapy old-school aldehydic fragrance either. But you might be right. Still I think Chypre Palatin has a uniqueness about it so I believe the combo of notes is the thing here.
Lovely channel! Do you have a favorite sandalwood fragrance? It is a love of mine as well.
Don't know if I can pick a favorite, but I love Lost Alice, Santal Austral and Meander. Piano Santal is great too! How about for you?
Happy New Year Kicki!
Thanks for sharing your week in fragrance wearing with us. It's interesting to hear about what your testing and wearing from your collection.
Take care! - Jenn
Happy New Year! Thank you.
I bought 4 travel size fragrances from Michael Malul. 3 were for men and the other was marketed for women. Ironically, I ended up really liking only the female fragrance, Siesta Key, which I wore as my SOTD for NYE. Give it a whirl if you can.
I hope you have a wonderful 2023! Cheers! 🙏
Thanks for the tip! Never even heard of Michael Malul. Will keep my eyes open for this house.
Happy New Year 🥂🌟
Happy New Year!
You seem super depressed.
What's your intent behind saying that? Not because you care, right?
We all go through emotional ups and downs we do our best. But one can mind not being tactless and low brow, no?
Please don't go round saying things like this to people you don't know. It's impolite, unhelpful, and you don't have any clue how someone actually is or what they're going through!
