thanks alot sir! but i tried deleting the photos from my iphone after importing to my PC. The photos are still showing on the iphone. Why is that? And when we import to PC do the photos stay permanently in the PC because im using an imac as well. So im wondering if the imac is also just showing photos which are on the cloud

Just needed to use my USB-C to Lightning cord from Apple to my Macbook Pro and iPhone 11 Pro. My third party cord and dongle won't register my phone in the Photos app on my Mac. Thank you and Blessings!

It's most likely because the photos are being stored on your icloud now, not iPhone. So will have to redownload them before transfering.
