That was the old Ballingers place in Aintree Close in Coventry. Nice family, ran some friendly builder's merchants in the area. Bought loads of stuff from them. And EH Smith, TBF.
Hi luke love the video again doing a brilliant job keep trucking and stay safe mate
Nice vid pleased you kept your top on but each to their own.
Great video Luke. I know both the Coventry and Worcester sites well. You went in the correct way. Both locations are very old industrial sites which were there before HGV's were invented, hence the tight roads ! Most of the housing by the Worcester one is very new, itself built on old industrial sites.
Great video as always luke 👍 👏
"I went to the toilet and wet my hair ". That's impressive if a little boastful. Personally I prefer water from the tap.
Nice one Luke, thanks 👍👍
I have worked in Coventry it’s not the best place for sat nav you did well to find it . Great video as always Sir
Nice to see another video mate, keep on trucking fella
Great video really enjoyed it.
Another great vlog Luke keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻
Another excellent video Luke thanks for that! Keep up the good work and keep safe!👍🚛😀
All the toolkit you need: WD40, Duck Tape, and a Crowbar. If it moves and it shouldn't, Duck Tape, and if it doesn't move when it should, WD40, or if it still needs some help, use the crowbar.
Cable ties?
Loving the video Luke. Was just wondering. When you've strapped everything up on the trailer, and you have to go back to the yard to do a swap, what happens to all your ratchets and straps, as you're heading to Chep(?) to load up. Just a thought is all
You see some of those type of camera cars parked on the side of the road effectively it's ANPR to ensure your car is taxed and mot'd or stolen ect...
If I could have 30 years back, i would do alot of things with my life. I loved the thought of being a lorry driver but I was scared of the road. I would also think seriously of becoming a nurse. Finally, 8 years ago, took the bull by the horns and took driving lessons, I passed my test in an automatic. Still couldn't and can't get my head around steering, watching the road, watching pedestrians and thinking of what my feet are doing! But, I seriously twisted my left ankle 2 weeks ago, so its good I'm drivinf an automatic 🤭🫣
A very good Tuesday evening young man from Alan in Lowestoft buddy 👍 😊
Hi Luke use to be a forklift driver for a steel fabrication shop and it was first come first served if i was unloading and someone wanted loading they had to wait that meant it was quicker for everyone
Question some places don't allow you to stand on the back of the trailer is this not standard for all drivers doing delivery's or is it just building sites that do this for health and safety reasons
Love watching your videos interesting to see where you end up next 👍
I has to mess about getting the forks in the loops when I done mine with the moffett. Had to push the forks forward then jump on the bed and put the loops over the fork then jump back in the moffett and move forward again. Was a nightmare doing it alone with a full bed
Should not be on.the bed of the trailer health and safety if you fall off no insurance claims plus no hi viz ?
That camera car is one of the traffic warden cars so they don't need to get out basically or it detects weather you paid parking then they get out. We have loads round this area.
I thought it might have been a Google street view car, but you’re probably right.
Another great video.
FYI, never use WD-40 as a lubricant. It is a degreaser and moisture remover. GT85 is better, but 3 in one oil is best.
WD-40 is not a great lubricant, however, it definitely isn't degreaser.
It's mostly oil + solvent to make it thinner.
@@DornacgoveTry it on grease and see how well it works! It works a treat!
Yes your right Luke trucking has many advantages . It’s not all clear sailing all the time . Example you order some small items and they can be miles away but sometimes your going close to it and the company have no objection for you to go & pick it up . I had many opportunities to get things from people I delivered to saving delivery change . It all depends on your company policy . You can’t carry something without a receipt. GOOD ONE LUKE 💥👍🇨🇦And it’s a traveling education to know the country like the back of your hand .
Profusely 👍👍👍
Just seen your new truck Trucker Tim just picked it up
Another great viog Luke
Awesome vlog as always luke c in a hgv
What you reckon to new laws regarding 2 straps if the load is above the headboard and 2 on the back regardless of height
Also great vid mate
I think I might have to start going into the ratchet strap business 😂 if DVSA keep going, I’ll make a fortune
@@lukecinahgv I saw a pallet full of them get dropped off into yard and thought there goes our profit sharing bonus
Just seen your new iveco transported by trucker tim
WD-40 is not actually a lubricant !
Its a penetration fluid to remove material..
Oh mate at least you will find truckfest southwest
A very good Tuesday morning to you sir
Shame I never unloaded you bags would have all come off at one time & moved in after 👌
Awesome is Tim delivering you your new truck??
Luke I have a question and it probably sounds stupid.
But if your already pulling a empty flatbed. Why would you need to go yard and swap for a different flatbed? I was going to ask in a different video. Hope you see this. And safe travels buddy
There could be many reasons, one may have different or more suitable equipment, the current trailer may need a repair or an inspection or MOT etc etc
@@simonbaker3612 very true. Didn’t think about those things. Cheers Simon
Hi Luke love your videos would you recommend lorry driving to young people (my dream job)
Go bills
Was that a google car?
No to wd40 mate ,gt 85 is good !👍👍
this might be a stupid question but after getting your class 1 or 2 do you get any training on strapping down and how all your driving time works?
To be honest, no not really. It’s mostly Self-taught.
In my opinion, most of the stuff they teach you when learning to pass your test is irrelevant. The only teach you how to pass your test .
They don’t teach you how to do a blind side reverse. I mean they will teach you about Road position which is good but real life scenarios like reversing onto a bay, blindsiding into a site of a road, strapping, netting, et cetera it’s mostly theory.
The best thing to do is ask NOW before any accidents on the road, ask an old hand to show you but if your not employed look at A LOT of YTs,you don't want to be that person explaining to your boss what happened, good luck,x driver 27 yrs.
Or you could buy that book that he keeps barking about 😂
That comes under your CPC course which you have to complete (5 day course) to drive a `HGV
Simon, admittedly it was 6/7 years ago now since I’ve done my CPC. (First time) it was definitely just a show me tell me 30 minute course and a bit of theory.
The five days I think you’re referring to is The 35 hours, worth a training needed every five years . Which for new passes are not required. (at least when I passed)
What is the weight of 50 bulk bags, seems like a lot to me?
Very common question. Alot of the time, people are assuming a ton bag, actually weighs a ton. That is incorrect, that’s just what it’s rated too.
Each bag weighs roughly 550kg give or take which equates too 27.5tonne. Plus my 15tonne rare weight means it’s around 42.5tonne total.
We get weighed in and out 👍🏻
I move Cheps all day lol...
When are you getting your new truck luke? Sorry if you mentioned.
Hopefully in a couple of weeks!
carry WD40 that will do
😎👍
Hi Luke can you not just go on break when you are getting loaded or unloaded or can you not do that. Thats one way to make up time.
Can you? Yes
Should you? No
It is illegal to have a rest, if you are not, in fact, resting.
Ok thanks didn't know that.@@lukecinahgv
Been on the avail app for nearly a month and no work on there
We have a camera car very much like that one here in Plymouth. The one here records bad drivers, tail gating and bad parking. I believe it can also get speeding cars and non seatbelt wearers.
You are in fact wrong. The camera car is used to discourage dangerous and inconsiderate parking around Plymouth. It is used to fine drivers over parking on double yellow lines, blocking bus lanes etc. They do not record speed
When you said, they can catch drivers speeding, i had to look into this. There is an article on Plymouth Live about it
I said I believe it can, i wasn't 100% on it@@gary63693
The car at 8:40 might be a google maps or bing maps car
Yes possibly mate
It is for recording parking offences, have a look at my other comment for more details 👍
@@lukecinahgv that camera car you saw is not for speeding, it drives down streets and in sections where parking is not allowed such as outside schools or on the zig zags for crossings, the camera is angled in such a way that it can record all of those registrations. This is more efficient as they cover another area with just one person and also there is no need for a warden to go onto the streets and face abuse etc from some people.
Really enjoying your videos if you only had two bags to off load why didn't the fork lift daiver take them both off so you could get on your way he then could move the bags in own time
This sort of logic could be used at a lot of places, but unfortunately it isn’t 🙈😂
my only answer i cn think of is 2 bags may tip the forklift over??
Taking two bags off at a time would be too heavy
27:31 Horses Sweat, Men Perspire, Women Glow.
Out of interest why do you know sit in the cab and have a break while they unload you? Especially when they can take an hour or so? Not a driver so a serious question 😂
You can’t be on a break whilst working, you technically could do it but if caught you would get into trouble by dvsa

@ 4.29 you do not have a minute to spare as soon as it changes to 4.30 you have an infringement. The taco only counts used minutes
No. As soon as it hits 4:31 it’s an infringement. That’s a rdc waiting room myth 😂. As you said, it only counts minutes. Not seconds. So if it says 4:30. It’s 4:30. And what can you do up too? That’s right 4:30.
Show me an infringement of somebody who has done 4:30.
@lukecinahgv the new gen of tachos is better, counts seconds before 30s.
Does it? I can’t say I’ve ever used one of them yet. Maybe one day though 😂
As long as it says, 430 or below, it’s not an infringement. 431 or above, and yes, it will be
I have had an infringement for 4.30. That's how I know. Think about it as soon as it hits 4.40 you are at 4.30.01m @@lukecinahgv
Fucking jump scare at the start of every video and yet i still don't fucking expect it
And I’ve purposely turned it down as well 😂 it’s almost half the volume it used to be. Well in terms of dB anyway. 😂
I think what I might do start in the next video is let it build up the volume slowly . Let me know if the next one is any better. 😂😂
@@lukecinahgv Haha, I would really appreciate this as well. I've gotten so used to hitting the mute button as soon as your videos start, just until it's past the intro.

Luke, not always he or she, could be non binary.
I am afraid I disagree with you there.
Whilst everyone has their beliefs and opinions, and I respect that. it doesn’t mean I necessarily have to agree.
They’re only two genders. Male and female. XY and XX. That is my belief and my opinion. Again, it doesn’t mean everyone has to agree with that.
To be clear, I’m not against same-sex relationships, or, men who feel feminine. Or women who feel masculine et cetera. That’s completely their choice. We all deserve to be happy. We all deserve the love whoever we feel like loving.
But genetically, factually, Everyone is born, either a male or a female.
If I decided, I want to get a boob job (probably don’t need one actually) , remove my male genitals, and call myself, Lucy. Regardless to whether I called myself, male or female. I was born a male. I am genetically male.
@@lukecinahgv You have a duty as a UA-camr not to exclude people. Your opinion has no bearing on a persons sexual preference. Not the response I expected from you. 🌈
@@lukecinahgvtotally with you on that one, we are all allowed our own opinions, that is part of being inclusive as well.
