Hi luke love the video again glad you feeling better now keep trucking and stay safe mate
28:35 the moment everybody looking for .
Keep up the good work and glad you are feeling better.
Yeah, cant feel sorry for the heat there...our low temps are 27C here with high humidity.
Glad you are feeling better Luke great video
Good to see another video mate, good thing your feeling better, accidents happen mate we all do it, driving my unit on route back from Kent heading towards J10 northbound on M25 car park, had motorhome crashed into me which had to wait parts for my unit.
Cracking video as always Luke, thanks for that! Bit snug in places! Keep up the good work and keep safe! 👍🚛😀
Great video and glad you’re feeling better.
Don't apologise for feeling unwell. Hope you get plenty of rest. Great video as always. MEGABUS M4.
Thank you Luke. Another video really Enjoyed. Glad you are feeling better Hopefully the new house coming along OK Thanks again
Good video as always luke glad your feeling a bit better. I hope you're not allergic to your new house lol
23 is a nice winters day in Sydney!!! Get you out to Winton in outback Queensland in Summer & you would melt!!!
Great video as always luke 👍 hope the new digs are going well, how many times has the wife had you move things 😂😂
Hooking up is easier if you stick to a routine. Before hooking up make sure brake is on the trailer or there's air in the system so when the red line is uncoupled the trailer cannot move then check that the slide plate is level with or slightly below the top of tractor unit ramps.
After backing onto the pin and checking the integrity of the coupling by 1st gear pull, then with number plate in hand exit the cab and walk down the drivers side towards the rear.
1st check. Anchor clip and chain attached on the fifth wheel coupling. (This omission is a fixed penalty and a producer).
2nd check. Walk to rear of trailer and fix the number plate and check the lenses. (This is also a fixed penalty and producer if omitted).
3rd walk down nearside and make sure trailer air suspension or axle lift is set and wind up trailer legs then stow the winding handle. (Also another fixed penalty if the handle is loose).
4th attach all hoses and cables and then release the trailer handbrake.
Then check lights and equipment and load if any.
Before setting off make sure suspension is reset to M or drive on the tractor unit.
Uncoupling is,
Set trailer brake to park then disconnect the airlines and electrics. Then wind legs down then set trailer suspension if needed then retrieve number plate then unclip anchor chain and open coupling jaws.
Draw tractor unit forward and job done.
Please let me know if this is still the way drivers are tought to do it properly as its been nearly 40 years since I took my test ?
Great video Luke. Have a good weekend.
Nice one Luke, thanks 👍👍
Another great vlog Luke 👍🏻👍🏻
What material was that last load? I'm trying to figure out the differences between UK and Nordic trucking solutions out of curiosity.
Luke I work MKM banbury hope
You come to see us soon man watch your videos literally the time and I’m a forklift driver there so we’re look after you
Luke said “hopefully we don’t break down”
Top 10 moments before disaster.
You are correct, 23 deg is not hot. :-) But then I do live in the tropics.
When I took my test it was BLT
Brake,Legs,Taps, back in the day your suzies had isolation taps on them! Am feeling old now! Good work Luke kept it up 👍
Paramore ring tone? Love it 😄
That intro was like an Eastenders cliff hanger aha
Sounds like me about 2 or 3 months ago..... Got my first ever dose of vertigo.... Pretty much wasn't drinking really often small sips of water and a couple of different antibiotics
Hahaha that intro!
"We haven't hit anything" immediate crunch...
A very good Sunday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset
Just wondering on the weight issue Luke, if your carry 30 x 1 Tonne bags surely your over your 44Tonne limit as my maximum flatbed weight is 27.2 Tonne and not many if any flat that can carry 30 Tonne
the bags are called 1 ton bags because thats the maximum weight they can carry , chances are they will only weigh about 3/4 of a ton each
They weigh around 600-700kg. They never truly weigh 1ton.
Crazy been watching for ages only just clicked your Swindon based I only have my class two but looking at getting class one
nice one! go for it mate. even if you dont end up using it, at least you have it just incase :)
glad your better great vlog
Maybe Luke, you need a blood pressure test and blood sample analysis at your GP surgery?
Don’t worry your new ones arrived surely 😂👍🏻
Hi Luke, glad your feeling better now. Quick question when you get your new iveco truck, what are the plans with the interior? Adding any LEDs and some other stuff? Plus you going to do a truck tour as well?
Plan to have a new light bored, custom floor mats and curtains.
Light board
Thankyou.
Another great video
Anyone got a pair of needle nose pliers??!! ;-)
10:17 he was flying a bit around that bend 🤦🏻♂️
Winter weather here soon be spring in ten days
Have you had any thoughts on getting your own truck at some point? It might not be in the plans cuz of family etc. but I'm curious and I think you'd be good at running your own business judging from your videos.
Dennison Trailers from Lancaster good make 👍👍
Wouldn't have picked you for a paramore fan 😂
Hit your mirror and get sent to Coventry?! Seems a bit harsh 😂
Have u thought about wearing a hat with a go pro on so we can see roughly what u can see particularly when reversing and mirror stuff??
Congrats on jinxing it lol
this video needed a 'snug' count 😂😂
😎👍
Probably the yfood making you sick😂 I've stopped drinking it and makes to 10k fuel.
Hi there.did you pass thru towcester. I thought I saw you pass me as I was driving into towcester.
How heavy are them bulk bags?
The ones will with bark can be moved by hand. Maybe 200kg at most. The topsoil ones maybe 550kg at most.
@@lukecinahgv didn’t think they would be.. when you said 50 bags I was surprised. Quicker doing sand and aggregate as they are heavy 👍🏻
Yea normally 34/36 when I did it
@@lukecinahgv fair one, about 900kg each or there about?
No sick pay!
🚛👍
£150 a day is diabolical money for class 1 !
It isnt great. luckily it isnt my only income revenue
Surely that is just for a basic 9 hours , must get overtime for a 15 hour day , and a night out
@@lukecinahgvif you do a 15 hr day luke youd be on less than the national living wage . For the job your doing this is not right .
Hi Luke are you going to have a new Iveco s way truck to drive soon that will make a good video and do you know it’s my 20th birthday on Thursday keep up with the good work I really enjoyed your videos I hope you got don’t hit ur truck again I hope they will repair it how much did you hit the truck
How the hell would he know it’s your birthday lol
If you watched the video properly he did say he didn’t damage the truck when he hit the gate
Using blank instead of black would be better, brakes/legs/airlines/number plate and king pin
I mentioned this in the video when I put the numberplate on, but decided to cut that bit out
wud it b funny if they meant to order 30 bags of bark rather then 3??
Recently packed in lorry driving. UK roads really aren’t made for lorries haha
Is sick pay not a think in the UK?
its only about £90 per week
@@mrhulk18 that's ridiculous.
DONT feel bad , happens to all us , on building supplys . HAD lot this SIG PLC //// 2017-2019 . THEY SIG central route plan via POA , send 32 ton 8 wheeler( DAF CF). Were 7.5 ton struggle , COUNTRY lanes 6, 6 wide 10ft trees . WE 28 ft long out moffett 9ft wide 14ft high . They wonder why you ring them up SAY sorry cant delv . & IF you have bang with the truck because theres insurance claim it puts ur own car/ motorcycle prem up by 5% & renew time NOT GOOD . . SAFE TRUCKING .
Hi mate has TomTom gave you the new go expert plus sat nav to test out?
Yes
No shot of the mirror. Until then we must assume it's been smashed to pieces. lol.
Yeah, someone else said this. It’s funny I don’t normally go about filming my mirrors over the next video or the one after. (they’ve both already been recorded.) I show you my mirrors 👍🏻
@@lukecinahgv Shocking that you didn't pick up all the glass afterwards.
Joking aside, you can see the mirro in your sunglasses and it looks ok but there could have been a crack through it. WE'LL NEVER KNOW.
Start calling you batman with those bats in the cave XD
Cor yeah I couldn’t deal with that
Had to Google what they meant 😂 oops 🙊
That's noise instantly makes you feel sick 🤮
yea it sounds really bad doesnt it! lol. but yea, zero damage. just pushed the mirror back.
Are you LTD or PAYE Luke
£150 a day ?
That’s not after deductions surely ?
Get yourself a unit and work for yourself mate £150 is a liberty
That’s before deductions. 👀
That’s piss poor £150 a day for driving a wagon, get yourself a unit man and get your own graft.
0:27 mate you have a boggy hanging out
Was saving it for lunch
@@lukecinahgv I hope you washed your hands 1st.
When I was looking for a job that's way I always avoided applying to the adds with "small family run business" 🤣 £150 thieves
Glad you're feeling better Luke. I too had a queer thing happen to me last year. Apparently, its vertigo, and it was when I just got out of bed, and I was wanting to walk sideways. It was a terrible feeling. Got my lovely neighbour to take me to the hospital, as when I phoned my GP, they said it would be a few weeks before I could get in. I got to the hospital, waiting for 10 hours in A&E, and the doctor fixed me in under 5 minutes. Really frustrated. Even the nursing staff tutted when I told them of my GP. In fact, I'm just wondering whether they contacted my surgery and asked why they could deal with it. I totally agree with them. Anyway, I now know how to fix it🤣. Just a thought though Luke when watching you deal with netting. How about putting a couple of heavy duty hooks into the backboard of the trailer behind your cab, then hook the net onto the hooks in the backboard, so it stays there, whilst you unwind the net across the top of the load to the back end, and you can pull it tighter as well at the same time. Just a thought
I prefer the BLANK pneomonic:
B - Brakes
L - Legs
A - Airlines
N - Number plate
K - Kingpin and clip
Your boss should at the very least be paying you statutory sick pay while you're off work ill, and any company worth working for will have an occupational sick pay scheme paying you your full wage. If you're not even getting SSP then you need to report your employer to HMRC.
5:42 they ask you to use your phone for checks? Should supply you with a phone if that's the case. I hope i am wrong, but seems like i'm not
No they supply paper form. Using my phone is my choice
I am a coach driver & we use an app called cpt daily checks. We get offered a works phone but my choice to.use my own phone. Much easier to record it.on the app than on paper.
So where's the damage to the windscreen as per the thumb nail🤔
Welcome to clickbait
@lukecinahgv at least you're honest
I’m always honest. I hit the wing-mirror. (Which is also in the thumbnail)
@@lukecinahgv
When I said you were honest I meant you were honest about the clickbait...the thumbnail shows a huge crack/hole in the windscreen where as in reality you "clipped" the mirror 🤭
@@chrisryanst There's a reason a guy phoned in after a party to try and lose him his job ya know...didn't like clickbaiters.
so you hit a gate and dont report it to the company, you have no idea if it knocked the gate sensor or knocked it out of line. so unprofessional. real classy bloke
Maybe if he was concentrating on the job instead of his vlog he probably wouldn't have hit the gate 🤔 😅😅
Lighten up both of you.
@@Muttley06hi Dave. If you think making these videos requires any sort of concentration, you’re wrong. I’m literally just talking to myself mate. Been doing it for over 30 years now.
RB-WY7LY, every comment you’ve left on my channel is negative. If you don’t like me or my content. Please don’t watch. Do us both a favour 👍🏻
Davesellwood4547 who rattled your cage ? Luke c is a professional driver 👍🏻 I have watched this guy for many years an believe me he does his best ever time. Accidents happen to everyone at some point cars trucks buses it doesn't matter what it is eventually it just happens ! Driving these truck in an out of some of the places we are expected to go is bloody hard work an requires so much skill an concerntraton ! It's not just a drive in a straight line job all the time ! Unless you have experience of HGVs or any other large vehicles? I'm guessing you don't because of the comment you made ! Rather that or you are just a know it all 🧐 I would agree with Luke c if you don't like it just don't watch it rather than leave a negative comment ! You wouldn't like it if some made bad comments on your vlogs !
This the UK we call them lorries I drove class 1 for 56 years
lorry is gay
Id say its more truck now.
