Hi Luke great vlog as per mate :) The 2 Horse head Sculptures are called The Kelpies :) They are 2x30 meter high sculptures depicting Kelpies (shape-shifting water spirits). The Kelpies are two 30 metre (100 ft) high horse-head sculptures located at the Forth and Clyde Canal in The Helix, a 350 hectare parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area of Scotland. They are the largest public artworks in Scotland. Andy set out to design his sculpture of the mythical water horses based on the old working horses of Scotland's waterways, he used two real life models. Duke and Baron are two Scottish born and bred working Clydesdale horses that still ply their trade in a field somewhere in Pollock. A little bit of a insight for you mate :)

The Kelpies are 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures depicting kelpies (shape-shifting water spirits), located in Grangemouth[1], near Falkirk, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix, a new parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area, Scotland.[2] The sculptures were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and were completed in October 2013.[3] The sculptures form a gateway at the eastern entrance to the Forth and Clyde canal, and the new canal extension built as part of The Helix land transformation project. The Kelpies are a monument to horse-powered heritage across Scotland.[4]

Enjoyed my first visit to your site especially as I stay in Stirling and know the Kelpies in Falkirk/Grangemouth well where they are part of a country park, childrens play park and a canal with locks etc flowing into the estuary and the sea. They are lit up at night in various colours and are quite spectacular. Will look up your other video's. Stay safe. Cheers from Scotland

Horse head are the Kelpies. They are on one of the Basins for the Forth and Clyde canal, the reason you only see neck and head is because they represent the horses that pulled the canal barges along the canal you could only see there heads as their bodies were under water.

The horse sculptures are called the Kelpies. Kelpies were working horses used to pull barges along canals. They are located at the canal . Folk stories describe Kelpies There as shape shifting mythical creatures on waterways (normally black horse like things. So its a bit of both i suppose. There is also a whole public park been built around them that has a lagoon and play parks. Its a lovely place to visit if you get the chance. They have been there since 2013.

Great vid again, as usual Luke, but mate, do us a favour - I wouldn't normally comment on something like this, but please 'normalize' or turn down the music volume! It's not nice, watching this at 9pm, to have it come blasting out after listening to your much quieter voice-track. Cheers from Canada!

Hi Luke. Do the other Road Lengends get to watch your videos early like your channel members do?
