Frog the Sorrel and reuse the yarn in a colorwork yoke with green or purple MC.
Or crank it into matching socks for you and your sisters since you were with them when you got it.
I vote finish Summer Sorrell. You wear those colors well! A memory of your triumph is one I think you will treasure.
I value perseverance over many other human qualities. You certainly persevered to get your PhD (congrats!). Finishing that Sorrell (which is beautiful) equally represents perseverance. I think it can be a powerful reminder of how you persevered and triumphed during a difficult time. It's a reminder of how strong you are and how you can be single minded.
Personally I would frog the Sorrel sweater, but the final decision is yours. Love your content.
Thank you! I did decide to frog!
Many beautiful WIPs. Enjoy your choices and congratulationson your PhD. Beautiful sweater you are wearing.
❤ I think it is definitely cool revisit WIPs … to sort things out - old friends you want to spend some more time with and old friends you just need to say good bye too. I so love that you are going to frog BUT re knit the Florencia - because I have done that to a project or two as well for the same exact reasons you outlined. I still loved the pattens but chose a different yarn and/or colour to make it. I just have to remember to tell myself not to stress myself out because stress is the thief of joy. All the best, Joyce
Loved going through all your wips with you. I would finish the Sorrell. It’s so pretty. I’d love to see a video of the frogging of the Florencia. Mesmerizing! 🧶
I like the Sheep Camp as it is. Would look cute with jeans.
Hmmmm only 7 WIPs.......i have anywhere from a dozen to 15 going at once. Youre doing great. Enjoy the creativity.
I have 6 wips and that is fine for me. 4 are blankets, 2 garments.
Love the colour of your Lanark. I'm making one at the moment too, still up to the collar.
Frog the Sorrell 🐸🐸🐸
You know me too well bc guess what I did earlier today before checking my UA-cam comments 🐸🐸🐸
@@rachelisknitting hahaha yesssssss
Good decision!
Thanks for going through your WIPs with us! I think you did great. Yes, there are a lot of WIPs left still, but you have a plan for each of them, and you can totally do it! Maybe it would help you if you focused on only one or two of those WIPs at a time and the others just stayed in their project bag for now? Just a thought.
Good idea!
My vote is to frog the Sorrel.
I was wondering how I missed this video then you said the date and that’s week school started for us. That’d do it! And I’m making my husband a Lanark for Ireland!!
That will be the PERFECT Ireland sweater!
Keep the sorrell. I know the PhD is hard. It’s pretty and can be a reminder of your persistence.
I have a Ph.D. too.
@@stephaniewilliams8687 I did decide to frog it, but I will consider using the yarn for something else!
@@rachelisknitting Definitely make something pretty. I graduated in 2019. It took a year to feel rested. I had a full time job while I worked on my dissertation. Now, I am just so proud that I made it through. A pretty knit will celebrate your accomplishment.
