Agree with you - having projects in process is a part of the journey. Process is the journey - even finished products aren’t the end, simply a pause as we join new threads to our journey. Thank you ❤ on your questions about your knitting, do whatever your heart tells you. That’s the strongest path
Oh I love your version of milkweed sweater, please reconsider frogging it. The muted earth colors you used clam it down. It kind of reminds me of Koivua from Caitlin Hunter.
I love your milkweed sweater! I would keep it how it is if I were you, it looks so fun and playful and it suits your personality! it does have a lot going on but because the colours are all similar, neutral tones it doesn't look too crazy, it looks cool!
this was fun Martina bella 💚 I think a lot of us have wips in limbo... love the colorful delicate cardigan, you should finish it yes, and the milkweed, I agree that maybe it's too busy, especially because it does not bring immediate joy to you, which for me is the real X factor, and I like the idea someone suggested of possibly blocking it and cutting it for a cowl...the yoke is so beautiful it deserves to stand out on something you want to reach for again and again...all interesting wips! 🧶🧶🧶
Oh, please finish the striped cardigan. The colors are amazing. I hear you about the mess with rain and dogs. My house here in Southern Colorado becomes a disaster in the winter with the snow, dog, and wood stove. It’s beautiful, though. 😊
I love that light striped cardi! It is so beautiful! I would frog the body of that beautiful sweater. The yoke is so beautiful. I do think the “crazy” take away some.
My opinion is don’t frog the sweater that has a lot going on. It’s gorgeous it’s a piece of art the one that has the flowers on the top and then all the different stuff going on on the body. It’s gorgeous beautiful beautiful beautiful.
Oh good. I was starting to think you didn't have WIPs. I recently cleared out several WIPs and decided I will only be working in better quality yarn than I did when I put them up. This makes me much more picky about pattern choices and I feel more inclined to finish things I think.
Thank you for your lovely podcast! I love the body of your milkweedsweater, it's so beautiful. Before you frog it, I would wash/block it which will ease it a lot and possible make it look moore quiet. Third option might be to carefully cut the body off and make a beautiful cowl from it. Happy knitting!
All wips are beautiful- the September cardigan would look cute with all the colors used and the rest ofthe main color into stripes - I tried that in a sweater and it really looked different with the random striped sleeves
I think your Milkweed sweater will look beautiful no matter which way you decide, but I hope you decide to keep the unique colorwork body - it really doesn't strike me as that crazy, and I think the yoke still dominates the body as it is. The all-over loudness (which isn't that loud in your beautiful subtle colors) is really fun and reminds me of the Soldotna sweaters that have multiple colors throughout the whole thing - it's like a Ukrainian Easter egg!
If ypu can get more of the cream baby alpaca for the winter Milkweed sweater, why not make the body and arms in cream and the ribbing bands in the walnut yarn?
I love your cardigan, that if I remember correctly, was inspired from your cup that you got at your mom's place? I think the shorter sleeve with the moss stitch sleeve would look really pretty.
Can you share the recipe for your healing tincture 🙏🏽? I'd love to make this for this cold season. For the milkweed sweater, I would frog it back to the yoke, do the body in the brown, and the ribbing of the hem and cuffs in the cream yarn from the yoke.
I literally harvested the ingredients I listed, add them on a lil jar and top them with a similar alcohol to vodka. Then I waited some months and voilà 🤎
Hi! I am still dealing with sciatica (since October) pretty close to yours … are you taking the tincture for that reason if so could you please explain the recipe how to make it so I can prepare/ start healing too ❤… thanks
After watching this video, if I would have one suggestion for you to avoid being so many things that you have to frog, it would be to be sure you have a sufficient quantity of the right yard before you begin a project. It is so frustrating to get partway through and then run out of yarn.. .
I have some real deep WIPS residing in the darkest corner. One placemat I knitted - I'd say maybe 10 years old? i just have to make 3 more but just can't bring myself to do it. Very dark secret.
Hahaha I don't think you should work on them if you don't feel like doing so. Just let them rest until some energies will come to you to decide what to do with them ❣
I self drafted that pattern so I don't really know how you could knit it, but you can check the Espace Tricot Ravelry page, they have very similar patterns and they're free🤍

Oh maybe I should give it a second thought before doing anything on it. Thank you 🤍

I love the idea of having a plain body for the milkweed sweater! It would really highlight the amazing yoke!
I love that light striped cardi! It is so beautiful!
I would frog the body of that beautiful sweater. The yoke is so beautiful. I do think the “crazy” take away some.
Sounds like you have good plans!
Love watching and listening to you 💕
This was so fun to watch! I always say do what makes you happy!
I love the "crazy". We all have that day where we need a little crazy.....

Oh, I always look forward to your episodes. Sending you all my love.

That's a great tip for those who are overwhelmed by lots of projects 👍🏼thank you🙏🏼

That's a great idea🤎the blocking and the possibility to make a cowl out of it! Thank you 🙏🏼
If they don’t bring you joy, FROG 😂
Maybe for the striped cardigan, you can use the yellow, rose and green colours for the sleeves and grey as a secondary colour! :D
All wips are beautiful- the September cardigan would look cute with all the colors used and the rest ofthe main color into stripes - I tried that in a sweater and it really looked different with the random striped sleeves
And oh my goodness the tank top united with the mohair is gorgeous. I think it’s a great idea to do the icord with the mauve beautiful

Oh thank you for your beautiful comment, maybe I should just keep it as it is and focus on the sleeves🥰
I frogged around 6 old wips last week & it feels so good!
Right? Freedom!🌻👐🤎

I agreeeee! I love it

Good point🙏🏼in the future I'll definitely try to not let rush get in the way of a project 🙏🏼
