I’ve got two cats, former barn cats. Poor things are absolutely terrified of thunder, so whenever we get a storm they crawl into bed with me to hide. Animals deserve all the love in the world my brother
(05/30/22) As you can see can see from my profile pic, I’m no spring chicken either. Never had a pet of my own but now living alone and getting my housing situated to welcome a senior cat into my household. Hope to get a female siamese as I think she was fit in nicely to both my temperament and living arrangement and her comfort zone as well. She would certainly welcome what I have to offer and too, won’t be bouncing off the walls like a kitten would. Jyst two seniors sharing space and chatting each other up is good thing. Just will try to learn ‘cat’ with time. We can stay the course with each other and avoid going batty by yourself in this era of Covid.
I loved the moment he realized he had a home. He started making biscuits, purring and a look of such contentment. It's wonderful for the rest of his life he'll have love. ❤ 🐾🐾
Less than a year after my last cat passed away, my new baby randomly showed up at my door looking for food and snuggles. We found out later that she was someone else's, but the owner didn't want her anymore. So now she's mine. She's the best snuggler ever. ❤
Reminds me of a cat I had several years ago. She was a skitterish cat. For two or three years I'd see her now and then outside. Loving all animals, I'd be very friendly trying to get close to pet her but she'd always run. Then the neighbors moved and left her behind. For about a month or two I didn't even realize it. Eventually I and others started leaving her food. Over the course of a couple of weeks I got closer and closer. I "talked" to her by meowing to her. Eventually I could pick her up!! Then I brought her home and . . . well, she was amazing. She went from running away from me to sleeping on me! She didn't have many years left, I think just five or six it was, but she was . . . it's hard for me to think about, she was just wonderful. 🙂 ✌️
similar story with my, now passed away, cat. She came around our (I lived at my mom's) door and we decided to just give her food. My mom knew the cat was from the neighbours across from us who had just moved and put a note on the door saying "your cat is with [address], no worries" because cats have a tendency to go back to the familiar place if you let them out right after moving. the neighbours came, they talked, and they decided it was the best for the cat to stay here
You can see how his eyes opened wide exiting the carrier box. God bless you for giving him a loving home for the rest of his life. May he have many more years with you.

@Mandy B, yea this was just another sweet, touching story of a good pet managing to find a good human to adopt, lol. ^_^ I like the fact that when she let him out, he looks around like, "Hmm, what's this...All of this is mine?" I also like the fact that "mum" had some snuggle time and of course a BOX! Kitties need their boxes! I know it's like a "broken record" but I just won't ever forget the first time I thought, "I'll order this nice, rather pricey bed for 'Betty', she'll love it! She has to, it even says so on the box!..." So the bed arrives and I can just imagine what she was she thought, "Hmm, looks like they got something right! They put on the box 'your cat will love it' & they're right I love the box! I'll be sleeping in it..." 🤣

When I adopted my cat the first thing I thought when I saw her was, “I’m not getting her”. And I don’t know why- she was and is absolutely an gorgeous calico queen. After being scratched to death by the other kitties at the shelter, a lady at the shelter put the cat in my arms and she began to purr! Eight years later I can’t imagine my life without her- she’s the smartest, sweetest cat I’ve ever known. She’s an inside-outside cat and the whole neighborhood knowns her because she likes to sleep in other people’s porches! And when I’m on the swing outside she hops up in my lap. Her name is Buttercups with an S, but we call her Schnoodercups.
Beautiful story. She sounds like an amazing cat. Very lucky to have found each other. Buttercups is a great name but I do know how names can morph! 🦃🌞🦃
He looked so incredibly sad at the beginning but now his whole demeanor has changed. So happy that you finally have the life you deserve precious Bruce.❤️
He instantly looked so much happier. It melts my heart to hear him purr and he loves his owner so very much. He is living an amazing life and I am just so happy for him.
after the cat investigated the house a bit, he instantly relaxed and started stretching. they only do that when they are content and happy with their new homes. thatw as beautiful to see.
His facial expression totally changed. He was so hopeless looking at first, but after getting adopted, you can literally see him smiling and looking so content.❤
Mr Willis reminds me of the cat that came with my house. She was in pretty rough shape living a little over a year eating bug's and field rats but now she's livin large and looks much better. She's the only animal my dog Jasper will allow to come around so it was meant to be. They're buddies eat out of the same bowl and nap together
I adopted a big-headed stray in 2005. It was four months before I heard him purr for the first time. But once he started, he never stopped. He was the sweetest, cuddliest cat and did not have an aggressive bone in his body. Sadly he passed away suddenly a mere seven months later. I have the fondest memories of him.
@@stacybluette7790 - I'adopted more since then. I have two cats now, brother and sister, Virgil and Lili, that were dumped in a parking lot. It's just that this big-headed tomcat reminded me of my Chopin who looked just like that except he was gray.
My heart was made for the lost, the forgotten, the discarded. The former toms are just beyond precious, they KNOW they have been rescued and given a great life. I can't handle it, makes me cry every time I see someone being so wise, so kindhearted to adopt a shelter kitty. You will be repaid beyond count.
I so agree with you. I had 5 of the best years with my boy James. He died two months ago and I am slowly healing my heart, getting ready to adopt another.
My Charlie was the sweetest kitty I ever had. He was an orange polydactyl senior. We always cuddles every night and morning....he passed away 4 yrs ago...and its still hard but Im grateful I gave him a great life and he did for me as well.
I'll bet her parents are so proud to have such a kind lovely daughter. Bruce is an adorable orange love bug. Definitely a match made in heaven! So sweet.

Her name is Buttercups with an S, but we call her Schnoodercups.
Beautiful story. She sounds like an amazing cat. Very lucky to have found each other. Buttercups is a great name but I do know how names can morph! 🦃🌞🦃
oh man i am tearing up
I had tears in my eyes as I read this beautiful story.
Oh my gosh, he sure was smiling by the end 🥰
His facial expression totally changed. He was so hopeless looking at first, but after getting adopted, you can literally see him smiling and looking so content.❤
Mr Willis reminds me of the cat that came with my house. She was in pretty rough shape living a little over a year eating bug's and field rats but now she's livin large and looks much better. She's the only animal my dog Jasper will allow to come around so it was meant to be. They're buddies eat out of the same bowl and nap together
Love your comment. Thanks for sharing.
Love your story! 🙏🐾💕
I will bet he thought you were pretty special because you are.
That must’ve been hard. You gave him a wonderful home where he could feel happy & peaceful, which is a great thing indeed 🤍
I am SO with you on this! I bet he dreams about his former rough life, then wakes to his new heaven 🎉
Me too sweetheart ❤
Votre commentaire est magnifique. Nous devons pleurer ensemble. Que Dieu vous bénisse.
So sweet.
@Voya Ristika - Her parents were probably glad they were grandparents.

Yeah! I'm sure they are!
The story behind those eyes . . . no-one will ever truly know, but so glad he's found his forever home.
Videos like these give me hope for humanity
You could see his personality in the shelter videos -- making biscuits on the bars of his cage.
🥺 it was so sweet
I love that he’s making biscuits, purring and snuggling and a tongue blep in under a week 💙
👍Agree!!!💛💜💙💕
That blep though
He,s a Honey Monster. Gorgeous. He seemed to know he was ,,Home,, virtually from the off. Beautiful.
@@susantommis8756 is he yours? Thank you for giving him a chance and a place in your home and your heart
@@sallyfeschuk5771 Oh, Bless you No. He belongs to the lady doing the vid.! I was just commenting on what I saw. BUT, I do have 14 cats buried in my garden ,that have now passed on, but that I took it n over the years. I'm down to just one now. But the temptation to take another one, or two in , is strong. Esp. after seeing this Beautiful ginger boy come alive in his new home.😸😸💖
Lovable & handsome "Bruce Willis" the tomcat. We're happy he's safe @ home & so well-loved. 💖
May he have a long and happy life.
The Dodo is guaranteed to give me a “feel good” story every day. Great job gang, thanks!
👍👏👏👏💕
I am amazed at how quickly he got used to a new place, given he was a former tom street cat for years. Most of those have huge trust issues. Whoever did the work of habituating him to people did a tremendous job!
Indeed. I'm thinking that he must have had a family as a kitten and have been properly socialized only to later became a stray. Glad he got a new home now and love that chunky face!
Facts 💯
Hello
I love the transition from sad, lonely cat to a happy, healthy cat that's loved. Bless your heart for saving him.
He's smiling at the end of the video ❤🐈❤
Absolutely Precious Furry Baby 🐱🌟💙💗💕
He's like a loveable old teddy bear.
As my former vet (RIP) used to say, "There's nothing like a big, red cat . . . "
Bruce looks like the biggest baby on the planet. What a doll!
You say that, and now you have me realizing that I don't think I've ever seen a red cat in my life.
@@alexrobertsfcimRed cats are commonplace. Where are you from? I own a red cat and occasionally I see a stray red hair cat visit and pass through my home

Hoomans. can't get away when you hold their feet!

At the end of the video it looks like he smiles. 😌🐱
@@katrinaschnatterinaasmr7757 yes I totally agree.
He looked so happy to be in your home and lounging with you

He's absolutely beautiful his sad face makes him look so lonely but it's his unique look. Thank you for being awesome and giving him a good loving forever home Peace and love to you and your family 💙💚💙
The tomcats I've had throughout my life have always been the most loving and loyal pets I've ever had. They really want nothing more than to sleep in a warm spot, eat well and get petted.
They've had tough lives.
He's so happy now you have given him a chance to experience love and security. How perfect 🥰
I love you and Bruce Willis, bless you a thousand times!
Some of the sweetest kitties you’ll ever meet are old toms who’ve spent their whole life struggling, desperately in need of someone who will love them. I’m so Bruce found his happily ever after, because that beautiful golden boy deserves it.
We rescued a Tom from friends in a local city who had been feeding him outdoors. What a sweetheart!
You can see the life and hardship in his eyes. But now he’s home! Please continue to take care of this baby!
Beautiful. Makes me think of my Mr. Phil who was near death when I found him. He was with me for 4 years before his soul left this Earth. I can't wait to see him again.
Aww, he's such a sweet boy! So happy he found a forever home! Much happiness to Bruce and his new Mom!
The table dinner was a great touch
Everytime I watch a video like this all that comes to mind is the word Heroes. No matter who you are or how you contribute your help to an animal you are a hero. Thank you to everyone who shares their help or their life with these innocent creatures. ❤️
2:45 That look says it all. I'm so glad that you got Bruce and made him happy.
Good ot see his eyes got better too! He is so adorable chunky and sturdy guy hehe!
This made me cry.
Doing little biscuits in the air is one supremely happy and contented Bruce Willis. If we all can be as lucky in our old age, what a wonderful world this would be.
This is so Wonderful. Every cat deserves a good home! So pleased to see him so content and happy now.
Glad he was saved. He looks happy
That “welcome home Bruce” melts my heart!🥹
I literally cannot understand how this freaking adorable cat went unloved for so long. It's so good to see him at peace.❤
You can see his eyes are alive in his new home. So glorious.
He likes the carpet, the furniture, the blankeez, the food, the toys, and the MOM!
What a sweetie 🥰 He got comfortable in his new home really quick so he must have felt safe. Thank you for giving him the love & home he deserves. 🙏❤🐈
He's such a beautiful boy. I'm so glad he can live out the rest of his life in peace and happiness.
Bruce is absolutely adorable! Thank you for giving him the home, he deserves.
Poor kitty probably never had it so good. Now he’s living the high life. Thank you for adopting him and giving him a loving home. 💕

We saved 4 kittens last November abandoned under a porch and it has forever changed our lives. The joy they have brought us is beyond measure. No deed is too small. Helping in any way we can is what matters. It all adds up.
I am so glad that he found a mom to love him! He deserves nothing less
His eyes couldn't believe he had a home and got comfy immediately. He knew he had a home, how adorable ❤
If I saw him, I’d want him too. That face😻
That is so precious. I pray all cats find a home as loving.
Both of my cats are rescues. I'm so glad you adopted him! You can see the change in him. His eyes are fully open and there's a new light in them. God bless you and Bruce.
im a vet volunteer. A high quality diet, like Purina One, cutting back on over processed, dry food, and taking your senior cat in for a senior blood panel will all help prolong their lives.
@jaynesegman7847 thank you for that IMPORTANT advice!❤
And GOD bless you for doing what you do for the precious fur-babies that you help!!!

My cat called Harry is from rescue centre too I love him ❤
@@jaynesegman7847 I love animals, but I have never donated any money, volunteered my time, or helped them in any way at all.... because I despise you people and your love for one of the filthiest creatures ever.. dogs! They're not even animals, but mutated man-made vermin freaks of nature that actually eat their own crap and the crap of other animals. Absolutely disgusting life forms, and I stopped this video halfway through because I saw who produced it, and because my skin crawls thinking that you people would say the exact same thing about the cancer called dogs!
OMG, he is the most adorable kitty, even with a sad beautiful face. He is so lucky to have found you. Bless you both.
He is SOOO cute, and so sweet! I love him. I love how as soon as you opened the carrier door, his tail went up and he KNEW he belonged there, with you, his new mama. He will never starve, be cold, or alone, ever again. Bless you and Bruce Willis forever.
