I've noticed a lot of "fake spay" where people straight up lie to potential owners about spays to up sell rate or cost. Only for the owner to find out too late that they were lied to. Not sure how it happens but I've seen it a lot lately 😢

I've volunteered at cat shelters and seen many cats, and from experience and what I've read, when a cat loses an eye then it looks very different from the cat in this video. However, cats that I've seen that were born without a limb or eye, then the fur grows there normally.
The facial markings on that kitten are adorable...and the little belly, and the toe beans, and the whiskers. Mom is a beauty. I'm a sucker for cats, especially ones with unusual face markings.
Maybe the owners recently got her and was told she was fixed. Maybe she was scheduled but the kitten popped out unexpectedly. She’s a fluffy breed with one kitten so they might’ve not known she was pregnant. We don’t know her story. We don’t know her owners’. We have a 5 minute video that doesn’t mention anything other than she had a grooming appointment but it got cancelled when a kitten popped out. It sounds like the owners 100% knew about the pregnancy

She is so good with both of them. That kitten - so adorable. That's why I have to limit my exposure to kittens - I can't resist them and take them home (if they need a home). Grooming is a way for Mamma cat to soothe and reassure her kitten. I have a female cat who continually wants to groom me, she just seems to need that connection. My other cats don't do this, but they do sometimes groom each other.
Mom reminds me of Fred* in the movie, Gifted! * Fred is a one-eyed cat in the 2017 film Gifted. The cat was inspired by writer Tom Flynn's real-life cat, who also has one eye and is named Fred. In the movie, Fred is featured throughout the film and is especially important at the climax.

I want to cry- they are precious!
She is so good with both of them. That kitten - so adorable. That's why I have to limit my exposure to kittens - I can't resist them and take them home (if they need a home). Grooming is a way for Mamma cat to soothe and reassure her kitten. I have a female cat who continually wants to groom me, she just seems to need that connection. My other cats don't do this, but they do sometimes groom each other.

Mom reminds me of Fred* in the movie, Gifted!
* Fred is a one-eyed cat in the 2017 film Gifted. The cat was inspired by writer Tom Flynn's real-life cat, who also has one eye and is named Fred. In the movie, Fred is featured throughout the film and is especially important at the climax.
