Very helpful, thank you sir. Curious though, so many videos show that your manuscript should be double spaced, but every video I find, there's no double spacing. Is it as simple as writing your manuscript, then when you're done, highlight the whole thing and change it to single space? Why not do that from the beginning? And the headers and footers have different info. Like, the page number being at the top with your name and word count, etc. Thanks!

This video has really helped me a lot, thanks so much Sean. However, still having some difficulty. Reedsy is not showing my sub-chapters. My chapter 2 has sub-chapters and i have set them all as headings 2 and 3 while formatting on Google docs, but after importing on reedsy, everything is perfect except for the table of contents. I followed your video carefully and implemented it, I highlighted the chapters and selected headings 3 on the table of contents section, but the sub-chapters are still not showing, please how can I solve this? How can I make these sub-chapters appear on the table of contents? Thank you.
Hi Sean! When I upload my e-book , it says that "table of content is missing" . I already have clickable one inside the manuscript. What do you recommend? Should I create one by kindle create ? How do you do that? I appreciate your answer!

It’s still a job that humans have to do, same with writing. Tools can help, but either you hire a book designer or you go through the hoops on your own. Plus ultimately humans will read it, so having a personal touch makes a difference.

I’m having trouble with where images get placed from a Word.docx file when uploading to KDP. I have tried formatting the placement of the image using Word’s image format tools, but they are never in the same position in the KDP preview. Any suggestions?

I am having an issues with reedsy as when I do a page break, it makes the next pages first sentence act like it is a new chapter a creates a title out of it. anyone know how to fix this?
I just uploaded my VERY simple word file to reedsy and it looks wrong - i have not done anything but upload....My word file has 2 images in where the text flows around the images but in reedsy it does not look like this. In Reedsy there is an image then below it the text - i want the text to be written on the right of the image as it is in word - like a newspaper....I have also uploaded to amazon kdp looks the same in the viewer and changed the word doc to a epub file and the same again....
I dont get why all these systems instantly change the formatting in word! Any ideas? thanks.

Why would someone want to use this instead of Kindle Create? Or Amazon’s cover creator, in the case of making a cover?

Every damn time I select delete chapter, it deletes my freakin fucken book, and IT DOES IT ALL THE TIME, it deletes everything instead of the sentence "chapter 1"

If you're a self=publisher, then KDP charges you a printing fee when you sell a book. This fee is subtracted from your royalty payment.
