I heard that this year Gaijin will rework the stock state of vehicles so every top tier plane in stock will have flares but they will be upgradable to better ones. I hope I understood them correctly.
hopefully that includes tanks and repairs - I not actually played in years but I couldn't believe they would do that or that the community didn't raise hell about it. You get penned once and it essentially totals your tank

If they made it sim like in that someone took a module out on your tank, now you have to drive it back to base for repairs that'd be real life friendly. No they let people to either buy the quality of life modules that allow you to effectively play the game, or play a handful on a paid account or force you to play god knows how many on a free account in order to unlock it. It's putting something that shouldn't be in this kind of game (repairs at least) behind an artificial barrier of entry. It'd be like forcing people to unlock landing gear for planes. you can shoot down headon missiles with ur gun, i still do this even not stock to undogable r27ers when im at high altitude from 4km, the best part is ur radar missles still hit
advice: use missiles as countermeasures, you need to have missile prepaired, when enemy launch IR missile at you, you launch your missile at him, your missile will have more IR signature than you so enemy missile will relock into your missile (in total 7 "missile" words lol)
Yeah that works, but only rlly useful in 9.7 - 10.3 games when you fight Su-25's and A-10A's without flares, as now all aircraft get stock flares (as long as they have the option to carry them in the first place)
stock grind wasnt so bad for me. I just went wider around whatever side the team is going on, on the deck the whole time. Then pass the middle of map and circle back around behind the enemy. Try to 9l some people or just shoot some pillboxes first if the enemy team is mostly dead. After chaff I grabbed the 500lb bombs and did the same tactic but bombed a base first then missiled people/shot pillboxes.
I love the way this game looks. The planes, the tanks, the ships everything about this game i find so cool. That being said i had to give up on this game due to the sheer level of grind of commitment you need to get anything fun

На самом деле уйти от радарной ракеты можно. Первый вариант - идти низко над землей. Если вы видите что в вас пустили радарную ракету и вы при этом на высоте более 1000 метров - резко ныряйте к земле. В любом случае ныряйте к земле. Ракета возьмёт упреждение и скорее всего врежется в землю. Второе - Знай своего врага. Обычный Ипульсно-доплеровсеий режим радара есть не на всех самолетах. Фантомы, Томкаты и некоторые другие представители обладает PD радаром который работает в передней полусфере. Чтобы сбить лок такого радара достаточно просто развёрнутая к врагу боком или задом - и радарная ракета в вас не попадёт. С ф-16 и миг-29 такое не прокатит - у них хорошие радары который работают просто PD и им без разницы летите вы на них или от них или вообще боком. И да, будьте аккуратней на спусках с возвышенностей в низины, с гор там и так далее. Радарная ракета достанет вас, если враг пустил ее находясь ниже вас, когда вы спускаетесь с горы вниз, так как она возьмёт упреждение и пеесечетья с вами на встречных курсах. Так что будьте внимательны при таких манёврах.
Ну и добавлю маленькую хитрость - если те же самые Томкаты и Фантомы сумели пустить по вам радарную ракету в спину или с боку - значит вас взяли в захват обычным Ближнем боем без Доплера. Такой захват можно сбросить отстрелом дипольных отражателей. Обычный доплер или селекция движущихся целей(например такой режим есть на миг-23/мл/млд) дипольные отражатели игнорируют! Так как принцип селекции движущихся целей тупо фильтрует не только помехи от статичной земли но и дипольные отражатели - такой захват держишься за счёт движения вашего самолета и самолета врага в жестком захвате. Селекция движущихся целей сбрасывается, также как и Доплеровский режим в передней полусфере - лететь боком. С обычным Доплеровским радаром все сложне и сбросить захват почти невозможно, так как его принцип работы исходит из анализа отражены радиоволн от облучаемой цели и их анализе - когда самолёт летит вперёд, то длина волн излучаемых им вперёд будет короче, чем длина волн которая идёт назад(представьте что лодка плывет по воде. Волны вперёд будут ближе друг-другу чем волны позади лодки. Здесь тоже самое только с радиоволнами) импульсно доплеровкий режим фильтрует статочные помехи от земли и показывает только такие объекты, которые излучают подобные волны. Вообщем пока не введут самолёты 5 поколения с радиопоглащающиии плитами на корпусе - обычный доплеровский радар будет имбой. Сбросив диполи не летите дальше по прямой! Меняйте курс! «Воробьи» и Р-24/27/27ЭР имеют инерциальную систему наведения и ракета продолжит брать упреждение по вашему курсу следование. Меняйте него! Радиовзрыватель ракеты вообще-то ещё работает!
Ещё более совершенный режим работы радара СНП(Томкаты, миги и ф-16 его имеют). Вы этим режимом ещё фениксы наводите. Данный режим анализирует все движущиеся цели на сканируемой площади. Их скорость, растояния, пройденный путь и на основе этих данных прогнозирует их траекторию. Ну ещё запоминает это. Под этот режим радара есть свои ракеты - американский аим-120 и Советско-российская Р-77.
F14B might be the easiest stock grind ever, one game, i had flares, 2 games i had Aim 7Ms, third game i unlocked the BOL chaff pod wich incidentaly unlocks 4x Aim9L for free and then i got my entire combat loadout set and done.

when it came out your stock aim-9ls could be switched for the Aim-9ls + countermeasure pod from the beginning.

Still like that for me. I have not researched the AIM 9 L module but I still can carry 4 plus counter measures
@moose8128 did you research the bol pod? If so the bol module comes with aim9L plus the actual pods themselves so, FREE AIM9L

For some odd reason when you research the BOL pods, you can Cary 4 pods with 9Ls, despite not having the extra aim-9L modification researched.
