Very nice Ross… love the rear step, I don’t have that on my Navara. I have a canopy over the tray which is good for my Labrador dog, but he struggles to get in now… need a step.
test drove one yesterday.. omg.. very impressed.. so much tech i like it, the new hybrid ones are coming later this year or next.. v6 even! .. The Cannon X is fantastic.. why pay more!
Hi Haters, In fact, time has proved his quality. You can know everything by looking at his data in the Chinese market. The data from the largest automobile consumer market will never lie
Looks like an awesome UTE for the price. So many extras. Makes you wonder if you want value and safety over potential reliability if you pay the Toyota tax
What did you used to drive that didn't have those things as standard? You said Commodore, right? I have a late 2018 Toyota Sports Camry..I can also see the speed limit & I have set my car to scream at me as soon as I go over the speed limit. My car also tells me when I am nearing a school zone & when I exit a school zone. Also warns me if there is a lot of traffic ahead. It is a nice ute though...'the step lives rent free' 😅😅
Test drove a demo an every time we come to set of lights the 3d camera over rides the radio an makes a horrible beeeeep please tell me this can be turned off?
Suspension, wheels and tyres, snorkel, air compressor, maxi tracks, recovery kit, cb radio, etc etc. it just keeps going….. forever….. aaaahhhhh. Go to the next 4x4 show, get advice, ideas and prices. Leave the wallet behind at home. Hehe
The big ute companies are not happy about this Chinese development, they will reduce their sales and growth of their companies. But average people can afford and enjoy affordable, capable ute at the same time
I remember back in the 60s Japanese cars had the reputation of being cheap and low quality, then later on it was the Koreans turn now they have both become respectable its the Chinese cop the same flack. personally i wouldnt buy one because I dont want to support the Chinese economy any mpre than I have to but if I was looking for a reasonably priced ute maybe I would swallow my pride. I bought a Jeep so I cop it anyhow even though in 5 years I have towed a caravan all around Australia without a single recall or a breakdown. The difference is it cost me a lot more to buy, the servicing and the spares are expensive.
Ross you forgot to talk about the most important thing in a Ute or a car. That being the engine, how long will it last?Toyotas will run for ever believe me.
China is watching you through those 360 cameras lol. Hilux does that same speed reading thing. Next video...10 things I hate about my shitty Chinese bloody ute, piece of dam 💩 😅😅 just kidding.
Good luck going 5 years without any problems with the piece of transport. You'll find out what quality control is all about and why they are cheap. Features won't mean a brass razoo if there's an issue with the mechanics or interior. There's a reason why Japanese cars cost more. They are quality and will last decades if you want them. There's no real history with these new imports and that's the problem. How long is your new car going to last and importantly without issues?
@@ThatJohnstonLife Be a test in time. Might be a case of like the Korean cars a few decades ago. Rubbish then but better now. All a matter of quality control. You may get a good 1 and maybe not. Point I was making was the major brands have higher reputations, have great quality control etc. and you pay a price for that reliability. No doubt the Chinese can make good value for money vehicles but seeing some of their EV’s go up in flames in high numbers doesn’t give me too much faith to own 1! (I know yours isn’t).
Once these utes are out of the warranty period then they end up in the scrap yard, after a few years of use they fall to pieces. You should have asked tradies about the Chinese utes. Just junk.
You need a pimped out gold waving cat on the dash bro
😂😂😂 Ross, I love the way you put such a funny & sarcastic spin on your narrative 🤣

I Brought My GMW In 2012, Great Utes, I Have Had 2068 on The Back of my Tray, It Does it Easy, Thank you.

The speed feature is cool but proven to be problematic if it ever misses a sign; it'll display the incorrect speed, possibly resulting in you speeding

I need a little step 🪜 added to my VW Amarok , I can never reach the crap that moves to the back of the tray.

Entertaining 🎉😂 congrats on the ute mate
Get yourself some spotties (lights) a Roo bar and a lift kit!
As a tow truck driver here in aus. I can tell you in 4 years driving a tow truck I've towed 10 times more hiluxs and rangers than a newer great wall.

Got to be done. It's only fair
Yeah, they have nothing better to do but love to watch Aussies driving in the dessert. Pathetic.

I hope my car lasts longer than your optimism

And the Sunshine Coast dealership I bought it from second hand
You already giving your money to ccp in many ways
