People haven’t been liking this one as much as I thought they would. On first listen I kinda thought it was okay and then after a couple more listens it clicked for me more. Honestly such a good album 9/10
I cant emphasize this enough, all their albums are growers. This is some of their best. I have now listened to this album several times. Backwards and Forwards. On a plane, on a mountain, in mars, etc
People In The Streets and Nothing Changes shows the pinnacle of MGMT’s talent. This album is probably going to be like Congratulations where it flies under a lot of people’s radar but will ultimately end up gaining more acclaim in a few years. I love how each album is so different from the rest. They just keep being authentic while innovating their sound.

This album definitely takes multiple listens to really enjoy, but like lowkey, i love it so much. Easy 9.5/10 for me, i just wish it was longer
