- Thnak you for watching !!
Here is another video that I came across after I made my own. Why I couldn't find something like that few month back... I don't know... I guess it's a UA-cam algorithm search fail...
Enjoy video:

Extremely excellent job,Holder was really cute and smart idea , Oven installations most of time need modifications...Great work👍👌
Very informative and useful. Thanks for documenting all this.
Glad I looked this up. Good video and much appreciated.
Thanks worked a wonder for a double oven I recently installed.
Glad I found this video, the platform to hold the oven is ingenious
Lol. Thank you. Its basically now reinforced. That oven is very very heavy!! even after removing both doors it was still heavy !!
By the way, I was surprised how heavy the door was.. even microwave door. Like 25lbp probably ....
I too am glad that I was able to find this video. I want to install this oven in my kitchen. Beautiful job! Where did you get the wall cabinet & how much space do I need for installation. I already have area but I would like to know if I have enough space. - Thank you!
@@stephaniewilliams8282 sorry I just now see this comment.. you should had put it in the main section. commenting on somebody else's comment. Do it fit future references! hopefully insulation work out for you and you enjoying your oven by now .
Great video! I like how you mentioned what type of cabinet and made it custom! 👷🏻♂️
I love it, I have a similar kitchen, doing the same thing. Much prefer wall oven. Thanks for the vid
Glad to help
Great job.
8' tall cabinet usually comes with the toekick base separate, so you can set the cabinet on the bottom platform and still have enough room to tip it into place.
Yes I know this one didn't came in... it was all solid piece. I only had option to cut the bottom off and then put it back. My ceiling was already partially open anyway so I went that way
Is there any wiring that needs to be done to connect the control panel? I have the oven hardwired but nothing is powering up
Hi, have you had any issues with the Samsung combo oven since purchasing it?
I have a question... If I have a half microwave half oven now...csn we replace it with a double oven if we wanted
What’s the yellow rope for and where did it go?
For better cabinetry, if it goes floor to ceiling, it should be ordered with a loose toe kick. Or you have to cut the toe kick.
Yes I was told I could do that too. Cut the whole freaking bottom out. I decided not to do it
@@IvanRossS You should have. Or buy better cabinetry.
Your real.problem is when you have a bad swag in the ceiling.
What was the height from the floor that you mounted the oven. My cabinet maker did 12" and it's way too low
Yes, that's little bit too low for a wall oven. Mine is 24inch. And height of my oven including microwave is 43inch
The use of 2x4 platform was nice...these ovens are very heavy
It was technically 1x4 boards, so they can slide ride between wall and rails
Sir, you need a cover plate on the outlet to pass inspection. Without the proper cover you're only a tad safer than if you just hard wired with twist nuts.
Yes. You absolutely right I totally forgot to mention that.
Non hard wire will void the warranty ! It’s recommended that hard wire your oven.
Question so before was it 2 separates now it’s an all into one? If so I’m trying to do the reverse and trying to see can it be done
No lol. My oven is a combo!! It's came as a one peace. Microwave and oven attached together and can't be separate!!!!! Also FYI: electric wire 220v powers both, oven and microwave, there no separate plug for microwave. All electronics on it as a one unit to control both devices. Some combo units can be separated ! And they even sell 2 separate peace, microwave and oven. Each have there own controls. If that what u have, you just have to mount them one by one. Probably installing shell on top of the oven to support microwave. Also microwave will have its own plug, probably just 110v !! Make sure u will have outlet there too, not just outlet for oven, which is 220v!!!
@@IvanRossS ok yes my oven is an all in one combo too…now I want them to be separate…I will make sure there is 2 outlets to support both… Thank you so much you been of great help.,.
@@creamofthecrop2789 I’m in the process of installing and modifying my cabinet. I’m replacing a microwave/oven combo with a single wall oven & ibstalling a shelf over it for a microwave. Had to move the 240 and 120, put n a smaller circuit breaker,
What if you need to replace the heating element ? Do you have to bring the oven down ???
No u do not lol. They are few screws inside that holding it
@@IvanRossS thanks. You save me money.
How did u get the oven door back on
I insert it back in a hinge and slide down latch lock that holding it. It's all in manual. But it was little stuck so I had to wiggle it in and out when I was removing it. Also little tip: when u insert it back in to the hinge you have to pull up your door about 30° it will slide dipper in the hinge and then you lock it, doors was so damn heavy..
Don’t you need a separate outlet for microwave?
No you do not need separate Outlet.
hello, i got that same combo, my question is, which breaker should i use for this oven, thanks!
I'm not home right now but if you look in the manual or on the back of the stove. Its actually supposed to tell you. I think so it's 30 amp or 40 amp. That's how I find out what size breaker I needed back then.
@@IvanRossS I have searched all the stickers and it does not explain anything. I also went through the manual and couldn't find the information, that's why I decided to search here on UA-cam
@@elmilusos208 I will let you know tomorrow when I get house. I will look on my panel
Need the info of type of braker please
I don't know what state you are but it is illegal to in stall a plug on an in wall oven it has to be hardwired in NC
I spoked with NC inspector, he said it's ok !!
Same n California. Need to follow NEC.
Thank you. Cabinet guys did exactly the same. what is the model of the oven?
NQ70T5511DG
You can still see the blue tape. :)
U can't. Pulled it off already 🤪👏
Nice video. I have a double oven, but it seems no way is my cabinet strong enough to hold it. Looks like I will need to build a base and lose the bottom drawer... maybe your cabinet is more heavy duty
Probably. And u can definitely do that.
@@IvanRossS the one I have is kitchenaid KODE500ESS350 and it weighs 350 lbs. I wonder how heavy without the doors.... Thanks for the video...
@@User-pb8pd I have no idea. But you will be surprised how heavy the doors are! About 50 lbp each I can guarantee. You definitely have to install it without doors!
@@IvanRossS I also did research and found lifting straps. The cabinet have it looks like I'll have to take the entire front off to rebuild it, but it may also make it a bit easier as well...
Where was gas line connection
It's electric 😆
What are you talking about? Read the manual. This oven NEEDS to be hardwired as recommended by ALL built-in ovens manufacturers.
As recommended*
Not so much true anymore. Codes are moving to the plug option because they want a disconnect on the appliance. Safer for the homeowner and electrician. Yes the breaker should be turned off but this is a failsafe/convenience.
Non sense video. Waste of time
You're welcome brother... I guess you're only one like that... read comments.... and be more appreciative. If you know better please make a video yourself !! How about that?! . I'm calling you out on a challenge!!!
