    Remove doors before lifting into place. Remove bottom drawer so you dont hit it.

    Can you tell me what the electrical requirements are for this? I have a new build in progress and will need to have someone come in after to complete this. Thanks!

      @renovationschool8818  Рік тому

      I don't know what exactly you mean by the electrical requirements.
      You can usually find people who install appliances in your local area and they come with tools and install everything for you
      As far as the wire size they normally use 6/3 for these units
      And the breaker needs to be 40 amp.

    Is that a standard double oven cabinet or did you use a cabinet designed for microwave/oven combo?

    Have you considered warning people that french door refrigerator doors will bang into the microwave and oven doors when they're open. My stainless fridge doors have pretty good dents from it happening.

      Oh my
      Sorry to hear , yes I see that issue everyday. Whenever I design a kitchen or whenever I renovate a kitchen I never put the microwave oven units next to the fridge for that reason.
      This house was brand new and it was done like this by the builder.
      I'm actually glad that you mentioned it. Thanks a lot for watching 🙂

    Great Video... The microwave handle is coming loose. Do you have a video on how to tighten handle?

    • @renovationschool8818
      @renovationschool8818  2 роки тому

      If u look under the handel i think there is a set of screws that needs to be tightend down.

    • @studiomphoto
      @studiomphoto 2 роки тому +1

      NOPE! Not on the one in your video. 🤨

    • @renovationschool8818
      @renovationschool8818  2 роки тому

      Oh on some models you have to remove the screws from the inner part of the door then u can reach the handel screws. just note if this was the case apply some thread seal to the screws and then tighten them down so they never come loose again.

    • @renovationschool8818
      @renovationschool8818  2 роки тому

      I installed this for a client long time ago
      sometimes u can spot the screws for the handel in the inside part of the door , basically when u open the door u can see them , if not they are under the inner pannel and after oppening that u can reach them. Please let me know if u could spot them , im sure other people will come and look at these comments when their handel gets loose.

      @@renovationschool8818 You're right - people with loose handles are watching your video and hoping you can help them. Me too!
      Can you do a video on where the screws are? I just ordered a new handle ($300+) and they sent the wrong one. You'd get a lot of subscribers if you could help us out.

    Combination microwave/ovens are one of the MOST SUCCESSFUL CONSUMER RIP-OFFS IN HISTORY!
    I'll tear my kitchen apart and install whatever cabinets I have to, so I can have a SEPARATE microwave and oven.
    When our oven broke the microwave still worked fine and I thought I needed to buy another combination. What the hell was I thinking when I bought another combination?!? I WASN'T THINKING.

      In my experience so far I had 3 Samsung dishwashers that did not work properly right after installation. I install appliances on regular bases .I always tell my clients to stay away from LG and Samsung brand (for appliances) . Not only the parts are rare. The time you have to wait to get a part is also very very long. I always tell people to buy north American brands , if you pay more it's for a good reason. You don't have to deal with broken appliances very quickly after installation.
      I would only buy Samsung cell phone and TVs.

      It's Samsung what do you expect, I always tell people to stay away from Samsung and LG appliances, many times I installed a Samsung dishwasher and it wasn't working right from the beginning. Also stay away from bosch, it's junk and u won't be able to get parts for it when it breaks down, for alliances I always tell people to buy north American brands only, brands like Whirlpool. KitchenAid. Maytag. Electrolux. Frigidaire.GE. there are many parts available for them and they last a lot longer than Korean brands, from samung and LG I only recommend their TVs and cellphones.
