Gene is actually a really sweet guy, he took some time out of his day before a concert to visit a young fan who was in hospital who could not make the show. Gene brought along some sweet merch for the young boy to purchase

Gene has an amazing introspective on everything, he's also quick witted, can laugh at himself and he is so smart. He's a great interview.

He is such a very intelligent man, I can't understand people who don't get him. His humor is great, and even what he says has depth beyond many people's normal understanding. And I sit here asking myself why those self acclaimed intellectuals don't get Gene. And then I think if I get Gene I can call myself lucky because apparently I see something in him others don't.
I've met Gene Simmons in person and I can honestly say he is one of the most honest, kindest, and intelligent people I have ever met. I believe that he uses this "douchebag" persona as a means of selling his brand(s) because it gets peoples attention, sometimes negative. What he said about politics is true. We need to quit arguing with each other and come to compromises. I've been a lifelong KISS fan and have nothing but respect for this guy.

The first four KISS records are great. Loved em since I was a little kid.
I would go so far as to say that every Kiss record up to Lick It Up is great! With a few exceptions.
And I have to say that Revenge is incredible, even knowing Ace and Peter weren't.

Gene is a smart Man. You can say whatever you like about his ego (which sure is big as hell, He never deny it) but he have his beliefs, he talks reasonably and he is living he's life the way he dreamed. You all sure have the right to not like this man, but you won't belittle his role in rock'n'roll music.
I used to dislike Gene cause I thought he was a complete piece of shit but now he cracks me up. Dude is completely self aware and has a very unique sense of humor.
This is the first honest interview Gene has given in a long time. Usually, he's more character than person. Here he's actually not that different than what he is in person.

Gene Simmons is spot on over the presidency of the United States, and the way the voting system works in the United States. He is also right about Hamas and other governments in the Middle East that supports terrorism. The U.S has Trump as their President, simple as that. The U.S President position needs to be respected like it or not.

Gene actually donates a lot of his money to charities and hospitals. People just don’t get his humor and he is also really wise. He raised good kids too.

I think alot can be learned from Gene Simmons, he knows what he talks about. Some might not like how he speaks at times, but his answers are truthful, and he's not trying to win a popularity contest.

What Gene said about Ace being on the road makes a lot of sense. I used to wonder why so many rock stars become addicted to drugs. It wasn't until I performed a stand up comedy act for the first (and last) time that I understood. I was on such a high afterwards that I didn't get to sleep until about 7am. How do you deal with the adulation and feeling on top of the world to silence? That kind of natural high is impossible to maintain.

Gene seems like a cool guy. Only issue I've ever had with him was years ago when I heard he was trying to say he created the "horns" hand gesture. It's very well known that Ronnie James Dio of Black Sabbath actually learned the gesture from his grandmother who reportedly used it to "ward off evil." Rest in peace Dio, and long live Rock and Roll!

I love it when people get angry at everything he says. You're missing the point, he does this to get a reaction and make himself relevant every 5 minutes. I know he's a twat but he doesn't care and he gets away with it! At the end of the day, he'll be laughing at all the butthurt comments when he is in his multi million dollar mansion!

That's the best advice about politics I have heard in the past two and a half years! Ingenious absolutely right once again at least he's not disrespecting anyone because two people believe different things. We are not each other's enemy they hate us we can bicker amongst each other but when it comes down to it we have to stand United against our enemies. It's a shame we have enemies but we do. They hate us we don't need to hate each other. We need to stick together instead of all this constant stressful mess that's happening. Look the economy is doing okay and things are not getting worse they're getting better so we should just go with that. Everyone has their struggles in life you cannot blame that on the government although people would like to the truth of the matter is we are responsible for ourselves. No one is handed anything for free and if their parents handed them something their parents were the ones who work for it so it was not free. I was homeless on the streets for 12 years! I was born in Beirut Lebanon my parents were killed in the war. I was it that opted and a not-so-nice household. I can go on blaming everything and blaming God for where I was born and the people that adopted me and the government for not helping me and this and that but where is that going to get me? Nowhere and the minute I started to let go of all that and take responsibility for myself oh, my life. 100% better! You do not want people handing you things because it doesn't get you anywhere. What good is if you're handed everything you need and never worked for anything to feel any type of accomplishment? That would be very depressing not knowing what it's like to earn something and they have that gratification. I never took a hand out from the government when I was on the streets. And I'm not saying that you shouldn't if you're in a situation and need help and it's therefore you use it for what it's for on a temporary basis to pick yourself back up and then let it go and move forward don't step back. Remain humble because there are people that have it so much worse than us and there's always someone that has it worse. Just look at how amazing Gene Simmons is but yet speaks so clearly to all of us that do not have the same lifestyle as he does. Because he's human and he knows reality and he works very hard for everything he has. So why not all of us conservatives and liberals put down the hatchet and work together? And I will say for the record I am a conservative despite the fact that I was homeless on the streets with nothing because my core values and beliefs R conservative. I will not sell out my beliefs for money no matter what because what good would it be if inside I felt miserable. So it's put down the hatchet

Yeah, he gave a pretty classy response. You can tell he doesn't like Trump, but he was respectful and logical in his words. He wasn't foaming at the mouth with hate and craziness like most lefties.
