I don't think most of us see Muslims as the enemy at all. After 9/11 people jumped onto the band wagon they were told too. Most people understand now that the situation is nuanced. Not all "Muslims" follow the Muslim faith as it was taught and have instead contorted it to be hateful and violent. There are certain "Muslim" groups people have hatred for, and rightly so. I'm sure you can find a small percentage of people who just don't get that, but they are not the majority.
