@Trump 2016 Tyson loved and gave his life to the sport. I'm an Ali fan but I acknowledge the hard work and passion Tyson put into his work. After all, he's one of the most knowledgable boxing historians on earth.
@Trump 2016 Indeed. His passion died with Cus sadly, as he turned from an incredibly close up volume puncher to a mediocre mid-ranged boxer. A shame really.

Mike Felix Fraizer still had serious ill will to Ali even by then. He desperately needed the money for 'champions' forever.' Not long after that documentary, Fraizer said on an olympic broadcast he said he wished someone push him into the Olympic fire. Thus costing him his paycheck. To see the unbearable tedious nonsense of modern heavyweight boxing with no one fighting who they should, and delaying fights for years, makes me sick
I really love despite how silent Ali is, George praises him and keeps him in the conversation. What a friendship.
Brad McNaughton George is such a nice humble guy.
Hear hear.
Ali is quiet because at this time in the late '80s the brain damage was really taking effect. joe and ali both have bad speech quality in this video. words are very slurred.. they never talked like this before. Ali was only 46 in this video.

I was in the audience at the Shepherds Bush Empire for this show.
It was a surprise from my then partner.
I had no idea who we were going to see there.
Joanne Lumley was standing in for for Terry Wogan.
Tears flowed out of my eyes when the Champs came on stage.
Ali was always my hero, beginning back before his ban and to see him so close up was amazing.
My only sadness was Ali was very poorly and couldn't say a lot.
After the show we were walking back to our car and they all appeared at the rear of the theatre.
They all stopped and spoke to us for about 10 minutes, Ali even kissed my partner on the cheek.
George Foreman, Joe Frazier and Harry Carpenter were absolutely wonderful.
When Ali shook my hand, it was one of the proudest moments of my life.
He had this amazing smile which could melt ice.
Ali signed a receipt we had from a supermarket, as we could find any other bits of paper.....lol!!!
They laughed and joked with us until their limousine arrived.

Foreman humbled himself. He wasn't always like that. Credit to him. Nice guy. And his brain is still functioning. Powerful man. Frazier got brain damaged from the boxing, but Ali's was a disease unrelated to that.

"We got robbed of Ali’s best years" Robbed of his best years ? Are you serious ?

Once a Legend always a Legend
It is so heartwarming to see the brotherhood getting along. I have so much respect for them as individuals and as a trio. They are all great.
The fact that even though Foreman defeated Frazier in two fights he still spoke of Frazier as one of the greatest and paid him the highest compliments shows not only amazing class but such a great example of respect.
Thank you for posting this. I watched them all fight. Just their championship persona brings people out to watch their fights. As each one mentioned, it was not just the winning but the spectacle that brought people's interest into boxing 🥊🥊🥊.
Yes. Foreman always said that he was most scared going into his fight with Frazier. That during the stare down, usually he wanted to make the other fighter look down but not Joe because if Joe looked down, George said that Joe would have seen George’s knees knocking together. Frazier was an incredibly likable fighter.
That's partly because those Frazier punches were undiniably notorious something you will never forget even 45 years later.
@@daddymang9211 Not Against Foreman
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 huh, please!!! George Foreman himself spoke of how hard Frazier punches were. He said, he was so afraid of Frazier that instead of staring him in the eye and intimidate him before a match as he did so many others, he would stare at Frazier's feet instead, so that Frazier couldn't see the fear in his eyes.
Now imagine Ali would have been healthy and in good mood. That talk would have been hilarious.

That's what Having Jesus in your life will do
The psychology of religion. It's like how a boxer goes in believing he is the best, that he can beat anyone. Religious conversion is a bit like that.
He was also a pretty likeable focussed kid after he won the Olympics. Something just went wrong between the late 60's and the early 70's; like he was trying to camouflage his fears by acting like a tough guy or something.
Ali beat the hate outta him
George completely reinvented himself during his "second" boxing career. He went from a scowling monster to a big, lovable guy who won the world championship a second time and sold a gazillion George Foreman Grills.
The scowling persona was mostly an act he picked up from Sonny Liston, who he helped prepare as his sparring partner.
If you look at his interviews before he started working with Liston he was like he is now. He was very humble in his youth. When he met Liston he tried to emulate his hero like many young men do.
I could sit all day and listen to these men. Sportsman ship and humility at its peak. True legends, every single one of them.
I love how big George is always downplaying his abilities! He was an actual monster in the ring!
Imagine the mind of old George Foreman in the body of young George. He would be unstoppable
Everyone talks about his power, but everyone overlooks his technique. One of his best assets was the fact he used forgotten techniques which made most boxers confused such as leverage blocks, trapping, frames etc.
Love his defense. his arms in horizontal.
I think they really had love for Ali and they paid homage because they felt bad for what he was going through
Hes being extremely humble tbh 76-5 (68 ko) had one of the hardest punch ever and become champion at 45 which makes him the oldest champion. He beat Michael Moorer at 45 and give really competitive fight to prime Evander Holyfield only lost by couple of points at age of 42. Not want to take anything away from Ali but even the fight he lost to Ali wasn't that fair to him he fought in extremely hostile environment imagine everyone constantly yelling eat him Ali and even some guy trying to loosen ring ropes hes still being humble and accepting the loss. I know this program was before the examples i wrote but i wrote those to back up that hes one of the best , he was 46-2 and destroyed great fighters like Ken Norton and Joe Fraizer who both beaten Ali before this program so hes still being really humble. Im not saying he was greatest but he definetely should be considered at least.

How magnanimous and high-calibred these boxers are! They all had fought so hard and violent; clobbered each other in their prime times. What a sportsman spirit they are showing, joking at themselves and each others! They make the world so beautiful!
Touching video, great to see them together, not as boxers but as regular people unique in their own way. Respect to all 3.
Frazier beat Ali, Foreman beat Frazier, Ali beat Foreman... and Frazier.
I was a kid in Northern England and my Father said "Come and watch this, it's how real fights happen" and I watched the Rumble in the Jungle. It's still the greatest bout I've ever seen.
@@TonyEnglandUK what the he'll Tony I see you everywhere
Then again...
We are not talking about that now please
Kobe Tall ??
Foreman was the only one that came out with his brain intact.
quinnjim yes very true
quinnjim Even now he looks so healthy
I don't know how he does it. Seems like a great guy.
George was still boxing when this interview was shot.
@@quinnjim foreman literally had a skull of steel, god i wish i was like him
In the ring they mean business ,outside the ring they're Gentleman. Greatest of all time❤
Always a pleasure to see & hear such fascinating champions.2022.
This will never get old.
I cried so many times seeing Ali when he struggles saying words .
I just can’t stop it.
I loved Ali, not as a boxer as a human. Great human
Same with Joe Frazier.
They still kept their witty humor and charm tho
Insha Allah, he is at peace now
Nayeda Basit Aamiin. 🙏
Same here bro .. I didn't cried though.. I felt bad
Legendary couch. No tattoos, no gold chains, clear and sophisticated speech. Genuine sportsmen.
Apart from Joe fraziers big gold chain.

instead they had suits and jackets and maybe fancy watches which are another symbol of class and wealth.
If they were renaissance times they might have wigs and gowns. if this was rome they would wear togas. if this was pre-history they might be wearing lion skins.
today it's tattoos and chains. tomorrow it might be cybernetic implants! it's all the same
You mean they dressed to the WESTERN WHITE EUROPEAN standard.
Kings of golden era ❤
"gentleman you have just made this the most important day of my life" what an incredible and true statement. Any boxing fan would kill to be in her shoes at that moment. Great interview
Imagine how many jokes we missed out from a what could've been a healthy Ali in his old days.
He's still cracking jokes here, slurry and all.
Robert Langdon /you’re looking at the common strength of the man on display
Foreman giving compliments, Ali making jokes and Joe trolling Ali... Damn what it could've been...
Damn that is deep
He was really funny
Ali never felt sorry for himself, neither should we. He gave us too much to be glad about. R.I.P legend.
Seeing Ali so quiet is hard to watch but he’s still so wise and gracious. Frazier and Foreman gave a really great interview. Thanks for posting ❤️
Thankyou

I think Ali, at this point, was suffering from Parkinson’s. I love how he kept his sense of humor and humility, and we can see those little intriguing glimpses. He gently retired into the background at one point, when the conversation drowned him out as he was trying to express himself; I really felt for him then. But he kept his cool and didn’t try to elbow his way back in. A beautiful human being.
@@bargainbassistit's pretty sad cuz you can tell he wants to be the life of the party but his body just won't allow it. He still was funny as hell in this video tho.
All three of them absolute legends.
5 legends.
George was such a gentleman. He was the guy to have on this show. He didn't blow his own horn. He told how great Joe and Mohammed was. He was great. What a guy. George your a good guy.
Unlike Shannon Briggs LOL
Considering Foreman beat Frazier twice comprehensively, and Ali had to use all his stamina and intelligence to beat Foreman in the only fight the two had, who knows what might have happened in a second fight. Foreman could as well have knocked out Ali....
you have to remember Ali's win over forman was a big shock. Not many people backed Ali to win going into the fight
Just to let you know that George is still alive.
Frazier: .... and he put his film together
Ali: and he didn’t pay us.
(Everybody laughs)
Imagine he talked the whole time.. 😔
May his soul rest in peace.. Ameen

A Great Human - A Great Fighter - A Great Legend - Ali Makes me Cry.
I was a young man about their ages when i watched these all time greats fight each other. It was a period of my life i will never forget, and they all added to my life and billions of other's. It was a glorious and exciting time. I loved this interview and seeing the love and respect they have for one another is a satisfying end to their stories. They couldn't have done it without each other.
George Foreman is a real gentleman .. Hat off to your Sir
asala2116 Isn't he just? Humble and complementary. I loved boxing during that era. So many good fighters.
rklewis2 not like Mayweather disrespectful. Tyson had so much respect for the old fighters. Boxing died with Tyson. After yesterday's fight I can't watch another fight
asala2116 Your right but so was Frazier
asala2116 I have heard foreman say muhammed couldnt beat kenny norton on any day lol..... real gentleman. or fake fk. i dk
Alexander Her boxer talk. That's standard. But the respect his giving the champ here is speechless
ALI was the Greatest of all time, Frazier the deadliest left hook in the world, George Foreman the strongest and nicest human boxer ever Absolute Legends what a TRIO ( I shed a tear watching this) 😥
Me too..i was intrigued and such a fan just watching and to see this video really made me tear up❤️❤️❤️
Me too
Same
Liston was the strongest.
@BlaZe Excalibur ...don't be so mad, man. Mike was a beast in his prime - and he only had love and respect for Ali, George & Joe, just like they did towards him.
People tend to talk smack, to gather together in groups and attacking each other - just like fighters do during promo. Nonetheless, we're all just people. None of us is better than the other. We're just different. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
I refuse to talk about great fighters who inspired soo many people like some would be more worthy than others. We're talking about the GOATs here.
Let others have their opinions. No need to be judgemental.
