Nice to see you out for a camp again, love it when you poke the trolls 😂 Realising I didn’t need to go as far as Great Links to head off the moor, I took the steep route out of the valley and camped at Hare Tor. Heading back in the morning via Shape/Brat Tors with a climb up to Widgery Cross. Weather was great, just a 4mph wind overnight. ATB, Ant
I've a feeling we shall all need our coats soon. Great camp, the moors never dissapoint. I love history and it's in abundance on the moor, you just need the eye's to see it. Good to see your using the Akto tent, a good 4 season design to keep the cold draughts out, Joe's tent is fine but give me a solid inner when the weather turns cold and windy :)

Classic and more cheery rialobran those berrys not to be confused with sheep droppings as i found out as a young un Experience on the moors seems critical with that fog dropping on a pretty featureless landscape.

yeah cheers. I won't go to dart moor. No. And in addition, do not buy a camper van. Don't go to the alps. Nor the Vosges. Don't ever go hammocking or wild camping of any sort. Boats kayaks canoes are of limits too. You will get lost cold trampled by cows and there will be loads of very noisy young people trashing the place. Which wasn't that interesting in the first place.
