This is why I like watching sprayway he’s not trying to do an OEM finish he’s doing a show finish
Thanks Jimmie
Masterminded....what psi did use on the flow coat and what clear are you using. Did you have to mix anything with the clear....awesome work
Exactly!
@@marvelousrides that depends on gun and clear
Thicker clear 24-30psi depending on gun
Thinner clear 17-22psi
ua-cam.com/users/shortspihudJdiSZ0?feature=share. How much you think is a fair price for a nice metallic burgundy? I'm having a hard time finding good work near Washington D.C
First one in class
Just got done watching ya video 😅
Thanks for showing up Pharraway 😃
I'm wet sanding my van currently so watching your videos helps allot with the patient's it takes to do it right. It just helps knowing everyone has to go through the endless hours of physical as well as mental work with body work and painting. I take my hat off to you dude, you're a great example of hard work and dedication paying off. Awesome!
Thanks Stevie…yes you have to have a lot of patience and pride
Forsure but he make it look so easy thou 😂😂😂 never seen sprayway sweat 😅 lol keep it coming definitely harder then he make it look lol
What a transformation. A black vehicle is definitely sharp 😎. They are definitely hard to keep clean though. They show EVERYTHING! Keep doing what you do 👍
Thanks a lot
Been following you for a few months now just like you said time and patience will result in a great paint job and you do a fine job
Right on. Thanks Jeff
Lookin like a mirror finish. It’s gonna look flawless once it’s buffed 🔥🔥
Thanks family
@@SprayWayCustoms I wish these weren’t so expensive now. I have a few of these in the 90’s. They’re were easy to find for like $500 in decent condition
When Sprayway got that music playing it's like mama cooking dinner in the kitchen you know it's going to be good😂
😂😂😂You already know! I gotta get the groove back
I shoot production parts for an industrial aerospace shop.
We stop at the base coat and need it to be perfect.
I want to venture into auto finishing.
We use DV1 digital guns and use the same prep procedures.
Your videos are where I'll be when I start.
Great content!
Thanks for the support
Out of the videos I've watched and all the comments I've never seen a aerospace painter in the comments. I thought I was the only one. Lol. I'm learning automotive on my own as well.
@@Erik7prc We should have a pretty good shot at getting flawless results with our background.
Young fkn wizard,,,,I have learned so much from watching you Lil bro,ur honest and professional and do,these cars like its your own, much Luv 💯💯💯💯🦾
Right on
Always love your work bro. This free lesson you give and share with everyone humbly is a lot of work and I personally Thank you because the world some times spin in a ugly way but watching your videos take some of us to that good place. I appreciate this channel Thank You

Black is my favorite color, I know when you do cut and buff it ,it's shine like glass. I will be staying tuned for the cut and buff. 🤜🤛
Much appreciated
I’m just getting into paint and body, I have learned so much watching you. I’m grateful for you, keep up the amazing work
Awesome! Thank you!
My man that black looks like you can reach in it! And it's only going to get better after the cut and buff! It takes a lot to make black look good and you are going above and beyond that.. You are the man!
Appreciate that
Another one definitely a flowcoat fan more product is better
Yes indeed
I swear when I want to learn something I come straight to your page
Present, Ready for class. Thanks Sprayway, Appreciate. 👍
Thanks Lloyd
I’m glad I found this channel.
I’m glad you did too. Thanks for the support
like I always say.... looks like CANDY !!!! great job
Thank you Doug 🤝
Talent shines in the prep, the black shine hides no flaw... Look at that car! His prep made it 'straight', his painting made it shine. He is gifted... Love the car, thanks to your HARD work SprayWay.. Thanks for the video.
Phillip Hall
Thanks Phillip
Boss moves nice people been cool wit the spray an go for me 😂😂😂😂 I'm going to practice this on my stuff before I mess somebodys car up lol
You got this! Thanks DAG
Looks better than when it was new. 👍. Love how you did the sun/moon roof.
Me too..
Thanks Chris & Phillip
Great job as always enjoy watching your videos
Thanks 👍
I finally got around to starting the paint job on my truck and I finally realize how strong your fingers and hands must be.. I been a sanding machine and my hands sore as a mug😂😂 Appreciate you for the inspiration and being a wealth of information for the ppl to tap into..
Right on. Thanks
wow I enjoyed watching every minute of this video,
Glad you enjoyed it SVE 🤝
Sprayway is the sensei of the big box Chevys! Beautiful work!
Right on 🙏🏾Thanks
Bama , learned a valuable lesson . Dont use cheap clear because it creates more work. 👌 👏 ✨️ 👍 😉
At the end of the day if you crunch the cost per sprayable gallon the savings is minimal. I love SPI universal clear. It’s very difficult to get a run and leaves a beautiful shine. Not cheap but certainly not PPG/DuPont prices either. SpeedoKote High Solids works well if it’s not a show car.
Yes, that’s very true…in the long run it’s worth paying those extra few dollars
Superb job as usual 💪🏽👊🏽💪🏽👊🏽💪🏽👊🏽💪🏽👊🏽💪🏽
Thanks again!
Your work is always amazing! I always look forward to your next video to come out. Best how to vids period. Your vid’s are real and you show how to deal with trash, runs or whatever.
Sprayway, I just bought a Sata mini jet off your marketplace, be real sweet if you sign the box!
Ok thanks. I just seen the order. I think that one is backordered but I’ll go to the shop tomorrow and make sure.
Thank you for taking the time, I know you a busy man!
This black came out beautiful. That cut and buff gonna take it to the next level. As always OUTSTANDING!!!!
Greatly appreciated
Man…really nice job
Thanks!
Man, I just found your channel a week or so ago, been watch all your old episodes like I'm binge watching a TV series on Netflix.
I'm getting a little more confident in spraying candy but still scared. Lol

Interesting to see the die back in the value clear vs the high solids... You def get what you pay for in the paint business.
That’s a fact. Greatly appreciate the support Greg 🤝
i really like your attention to detail ...plus you show the misstakes and how you are going to fix them ..
Thanks John

Looks good. im 50 and i did my first paint job on my wife ford in my profile picture. i did a single stage white on the top. and a ford vista blue base coat clear on the body a close friend of mine works for Blue Ridge color paint he gives paint lessons there. He told me that i did a show quilty job on it. i get a lot of compliments on it,. im happy with the results for someone who has never done that kind of work before. I enjoy watching your channel

Another great video Black is beautiful but hard to keep clean
Thanks Tony
Always nice work
Thank you! Cheers!
Yes sir looks good
Thanks Glen
Awesome as Always...Great vid.
Thanks Drew
Nice work my man. Not sure if you did this because I didn't see it in the video, but I tend to find that heating the clear up to the 30-40 degree centigrade range really does wonders on a flow coat. I'm in the UK though, so that might not be as necessary for you on the west coast.
Flow coat is nice sprayway
Thanks Anthony
I love that intro song real spill you the best 🫡🏆
Thanks Zy
Looks amazing young man🕵
Thanks Robert

Glad you enjoyed

Great work mate
Another magical video bro love it
Thanks again!
I damn sure needed this 💪🏾💯💯💯🔥
Thanks BZoe
Look good. Great job. 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks damn fine dude I’d be proud of that if it was mine that’s for sure 👍 I’m sure you already know this but one thing I do when spaying at home with limited venting is I always remove the car mist the floor down with water and wipe the air hose down with a tack rag it seems to help quite a lot with trash 👍
Appreciate you
nice work
Hope you had a good Easter OG 🤝 looking 🔥 as always
Thanks family
Looks very Nice, I think sanding and re-clearing is going to result in a great final finish, it will allow you to really get the paint flat with no worries of going through before polishing. You may laugh but I spray with a spray gun in one hand and a torch in the other, it allows me to always see the light reflection in the paint, whatever the angle. For instance around the wheel arch lips or sills, I could spray a car in the dark if I wanted, obviously there is no good reason to but the finish would be just the same. You have more lights in your booth by the looks of it so maybe not something you would benefit from.
Yes indeed. Thanks for the info man
Awesome as always
Thanks again!
