I have heard of this case before but you have given us a really good breakdown of the characters involved in this horrific crime. I literally cried when you said Carol and Reggie found each other again, after 40 years, and what a stroke of luck he phoned that company that day, where she worked. I can't put into words how heartbreaking it was what happened to them at the hands of those evil people. Reggie and Carol were such a lovely couple. May they rest together in peace❤
I loathe cases that give a check mark in the "no good deed goes unpunished" category. 🤢😡 I'm only 15 minutes in and have already learned more about this case than I knew before. Always an outstanding production, EAU! ❤
Hey EAU, thanks for all your hardwork, been watching for a long time. You deserve 1 millon+ hope this buys yourself something nice, love from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Oh this hurts my heart. Those poor people; their story just began. May they rest peacefully 💔 Thank you for sharing this bittersweet story, EAU. This community appreciates you so much!
Hey EAU, You have an incredible channel, and you’re a genuinely righteous person. The way you analyse and dissect the mindsets of these criminals is both accurate and deeply insightful. Additionally, your attention to the victims, showing them the utmost respect and compassion, is truly commendable. At the same time, you don’t hesitate to call out the perpetrators for what they truly are, especially when profiling them. Your ability to balance empathy for the victims with a direct approach to the criminals is brilliantly executed. Your content is outstanding, brother. Keep doing what you’re doing. Above all, you’re an incredible human being. Stay true to yourself. God bless you 💯
EAU, I like how you advocate for your values - as someone who believes in restorative justice, I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on any case in which an "evil" person appears to have genuinely changed and grown
Rehabilitation really has nothing at all to do with justice. If an I scene, cruel murderer truly has a change of heart, he or she should work out their redemption by advising others behind bars or by speaking to troubled youth. The criminal still deserves to be locked away from the society they despised.
Tragic case of 2 loving, elderly people who had at last found love. The girl who they befriended, turned on them with tragic results. May she & the other 3 monsters, rot in hell! Thanks to 'Evil Among Us' for telling us this story. John, UK.
I know this case well, but you really do your homework and make sure you get your facts right. For what they did to these gentle harmless lovely old couple. They should of all got death penalty and they shouldn't of been a load to swarm there way out with there bs. That piece of work Jackson was trying every witch way he could to bs his way out of it even getting interviewed 3 times. . R. I. P Carroll and Reggie!
Thank you again for another video. I have not heard of this case and it is so extremely sad. I can tell it was emotional for you to tell this story. As always thank you❤
Thank you for another beautifully researched yet horribly heartbreaking video. I was in floods throughout most of this, the senseless cruelty and callousness, I just can't get my head around it. Just because I am a very passionate opposer of the death penalty, does not mean That I don't wish for everyone of these four worthless pieces of shit to suffer every day of their life. I think the death penalty could never be a victory for justice, but I won't get into it. I just wish that wherever Reggie and Carol are, they are together at peace And happiness
Not much gets me. You speaking of their last moments with such tenderness, just about broke my heart. One of the best channels on here, how you don’t have millions of subscribers yet, is beyond me. ❤
Heard this case before, it's horrible what they did, absolute vile little cretins, surprised you covered this, glad you did as you always give a much more detailed history of the people involved
Really pisses me off when people use being from a 'broken home' as an excuse to behave like feral animals 😡 I know plenty of people from broken homes but they never committed heinous acts like these creatures
Exactly. No matter what we go through personally, we have a conscience and awareness to know right from wrong. I was severely abused as a child. I would never even think of doing something like this. There’s something deeply wrong with a person who wants to harm other living beings and tries to justify their actions by what they went through. You’d think their past would work as a way for them to understand suffering, and be able to empathize with other people.
@@Dontmind8 great point and beautifully put, I feel the exact same way, as you say, if you know pain like that from first hand experience, then surely you wouldn't want anyone else to feel anything close to it, Thank-you for sharing ❤️
@@olliedee Thank you also for bringing up this topic and making excellent points. It’s important to remember that there’s never a justification or an excuse for these atrocious acts. Hats off to your content. I have been a fan for over a year now... I used to enjoy going to work in my office job at the time knowing I could listen to your videos while working which was a great way to pass the time (although I couldn't watch them at same time) your visual content is brilliant also. Great respect for the way you create the documentaries, you report with in depth detail and empathy which really sets you apart from so many other crime documentaries on youtube who often just read off a script.
Thank you so much for this. Producing these videos week in week out on top of a full time job is really tough but worth it when I get a comment like this, it means more to me than you realise so thank you again
This is one of the hardest cases I've ever listened to. What happened to them was appalling and disgusting 💔 they must have been absolutely terrified after already suffering enough.
Im not claustrophobic, but with a friend while drunk got into the boot of my friends car. It completely freaked me out. Being locked inside with no control in the dark, my god it was horrendous. For only 10 mins. I can’t imagine how terrified they must have been in that boot, not knowing what would happen next.
The set of circumstances the child of Wade was born into sound like the perfect framing ("justification") for another emotionally neglected child to become an adult who simply _does_ in the only way he knows. Culminating in, on balance, having a net caustic effect on society. So it goes. - RIP Carol & Reggie.
Tiffany Cole did a death row interview with fellow death row inmate, Amelia Carr - she murdered the wife and mother of her boyfriend in a trailer on her mother's property. Both complained they were innocent and it's not fair to them to have their entire lives taken away. 🤬
Thank you for making such high quality productions with the utmost empathy and compassion for the victim(s) - This case is heartbreaking and horrific. I’ve seen numerous things on it, including interrogation, but none have shown a modicum of the care and prioritising for the victims as yours. The biggest feels are that they died such a horrific death, but managed to hold each other. 😢 I’m glad you made that a key point in the telling. A lot of what you describe about the girl that did it sounds like Borderline Personality. From what I understand, it’s a very misunderstood mental illness, and often presents with the terror of being abandoned and willingness to morph into other people’s worlds to keep attached. I’m not a psychologist, and so can’t say exactly, but that though occurred to me. The “nurture” aspect of Borderline often comes from childhood abandonment and abuse. Not that there is any excuse. To betray people that nurtured you with nothing but kindness is so unforgivable. I like that you went on about the man that’s now being a father to his own child. I’m not saying that people can’t change, but certain crimes can only be committed by a certain kind of psyche - one that doesn’t change because it’s entirely disinterested in doing so - but often mimics redemption of character to self preserve and minimise consequences. Also, people that go after inmates fascinate me, too. The mind, motives and justice fascinate me, and that is how I came upon your channel. As an empathetic person, I really appreciate the empathy in your character - your commentary and attention to the victims’ lives. I really hope the algorithm is good to you and brings you more viewers, because I’m certain you (and these stories told with facts and empathy) deserve heaps of subscribers!
Please can you look at covering the case of Roy Tuttil, he was murdered in my hometown in the 60s by a paedophile that took 33 years to solve and bring him to justice, he is suspected of many other murders. I think you'd cover this terribly sad case with the empathy and respect it deserves. X
Omg. This may be the worst case I’ve ever heard of. I remember seeing that woman on some show about death row inmates, but I never knew what she did to get there. What an absolutely horrific and terrible human being she is. The narrator of this channel has such a wonderful snarky way with words to describe these absolute monsters. Thank you for covering this case with such empathy. I am crying so hard for them. I can’t think of a worse ending. Not only being buried alive, but having your love being killed right in front of you too. Ugh, how sad 😢

Stop I was watching a video about this case on a different channel and as I was doing that I got a pop up from your channel. Give me the chills why won’t you?
There are unfortunately many abused people in this world, but they don't go around and did what she did. As far as I am concerned, nothing can excuse what she did. They were the only persons who cared (and loved I guess), Yet, she repaid by robin them, but worse, let them being buried alive. She should have been on death row. People who are waiting there obviously are totally isolated until the day they die. Better to let her suffer a lifetime. She was actually the worse in this story. If they have decided to kill them, she, at least, should have made sure, they would be killed without suffering.
One of those guys has been on an episode of "love don't judge" as he's writing to a woman on the outside who he apparently has a baby with. She looked so proud of being in a relationship with him!
those crocodile tears!! absolutely makes my stomach churn. what makes me feel so sad is knowing that given the victims sweet and forgiving nature they probably would have forgiven it.
It seems to always be the most kind hearted caring and loving people that’d would give u the shirt off their back , that seem to get the harshest end of the stick or in love all together 😢!!
This case legitimately gave me nightmares the first time I heard about it and I've seen it portrayed on a lot of crime shows in the years since then. I found out just a few months ago that they took Tiffany off death row and I'm not bloodthirsty, but to me that just seems incorrect. This could not and would not have happened without her.
My wish is that there won’t be a “next one”. I just wished humans wouldn’t do this to each other. Sadly, it seems to me, that there is always going to be a next one. Take care please. And always, as you do, with heart felt respect for the victims who lost their lives in such horrific circumstances. 💝🕊🙏
I knew about this case before and it really upset me. Utterly awful what happened to the Sumners. My heart goes out to Rhonda and the wider family for their losses. FFS, as mentioned these vessels could have just robbed them and left it at that. Now two of them are in jail forever and one is facing a day with the grim reaper in the near future. Nixon will be in his early 60s if or when he serves his time. Hopefully his latter years will be spent in poverty. Crocodile tears from Wade in his recent court appearance.
Also, if you are working on the algorithm upping your subscribers you may want to insert “interrogations” “confessions” - I think a massive number of people search for these. I generally watch interrogations, and If I recall correctly, came across your channel searching “interrogation”… although I don’t think it came directly. I will often watch a crime documentary for the interrogation. I’ve no idea how people get their hands on interrogations, but they really enhance videos on the cases - just a thought on user search 😊
I agree. Speaking for myself as well, if anything I think it made my sisters and I more empathetic and caring. I’ve taught plenty of kids from DV or ‘broken homes’ that are really sweet and want to help, there’s a very small minority that are the combative or mean.
4:05 this poor, poor woman… it very much seems her entire life was “a series of unfortunate events” and that breaks my heart even more. Like everything she survived… only for the lowest scum of the earth to put her through that at the end. Unfathomable abd outrageous
It's so sad that Carol and Reggie only got four years together. This is the first time I heard how much they weighed. They were truly frail and harmless. They didn't deserve to be brutalized like that. I'm sure if Tiffany would have asked they would have given her the money. That whole bunch are where they belong. Tiffany has the face and nose she deserves. 🐽🐽🐽🐽🐽🐽🐽
After I heard that I genuinely couldn't concentrate! I just kept thinking "her boyfriend is Micheal Jackson?" .... Over and over... Going to have to go off the video and watch it later once I've calmed down 😂
All of this broken home shit, my mother was married 3 times, I was abused, I suffer from bipolar and depression, I take a huge amount of medication to cope, I have never killed, used drugs, beaten my kids or hurt animals. It seems to me that way too many people use their poor me lives as an excuse to kill and hurt others. It's all a load of shit too me
If those extreme broken home people could have the tiniest decency to erase themselves instead others to survive their pathetic lives, society would be immensely better... Also coming from a broken home isnt an excuse to be a bad person. Yes, its extremely hard to get a clear sense but definitely possible
Watching wade sorry ass apology was so cringe😑 I can't believe that lady decided to bring a child into this world knowing her child won't see his father and knowing what he did kids don't ask to be here I'm not saying she's a bad person but her decision making is very questionable💢🤦🏿♂️
So so sad, I am 61 and for them to be sickly and still have each other to love and to hold is a miracle, their ending is horrific.
God I hate this case. Awful to hear, every time.
Thanks for covering it, your kind words and strong convictions are always appreciated.

How HORRIFYING HORRIFYING
Well, that story just ruined my week..
It's one of those cases I can't stop thinking about
Shamona!
Not meaning to be disrespectful or anything… But is that really her boyfriend’s name…? 🙃
After I heard that I genuinely couldn't concentrate! I just kept thinking "her boyfriend is Micheal Jackson?" .... Over and over... Going to have to go off the video and watch it later once I've calmed down 😂
Why Did They Spare Tiffany's Life.
This is the most Brutal, Vile Despicable Atrocitie
All of this broken home shit, my mother was married 3 times, I was abused, I suffer from bipolar and depression, I take a huge amount of medication to cope, I have never killed, used drugs, beaten my kids or hurt animals. It seems to me that way too many people use their poor me lives as an excuse to kill and hurt others. It's all a load of shit too me
My god, monsters do exist.
If those extreme broken home people could have the tiniest decency to erase themselves instead others to survive their pathetic lives, society would be immensely better... Also coming from a broken home isnt an excuse to be a bad person. Yes, its extremely hard to get a clear sense but definitely possible
I'm not evil and I don't think that you people are evil. Having said this, there is definitely Evil Amongst Us...Thankfully...
Thank goodness for the Evil Among Us, but not so much for the evil among us.

Honestly last few videos have died on their arse, things go up and down so much I can never quite understand it, but thank you for watching
Why would you call this horrible bloke "David"? Davids are tall, handsome, gentlemanly people.
No offence to the Davids out there 😀
Watching wade sorry ass apology was so cringe😑 I can't believe that lady decided to bring a child into this world knowing her child won't see his father and knowing what he did kids don't ask to be here I'm not saying she's a bad person but her decision making is very questionable💢🤦🏿♂️
You have a big ego by saying you are good at understanding the criminal mind
EAU ❤
