    How does it feel on skin? Does it feel sticky or tacky?

    • @curlytea
      @curlytea  2 роки тому +1

      It feels substantial on the skin until you rub it in fully. And depending on the other ingredients in the formula, you'll either have a light protective film or a barrier-cream-like feel. It shouldn't feel 'sticky' or 'tacky' per se, as long as you don't use any 'sticky' ingredients in your formula.

    is there something natural that can be used instead of SEPINOV EMT 10?

    • @curlytea
      @curlytea  4 місяці тому

      Hi! Unfortunately, I haven't found anything "natural" that works as well as Sepinov does. Sepinov is also an emulsifier so you'd need a natural emulsifier that can also handle low pH ingredients.

    could i substitute the speinov with sepimax zen? i cant seem to get sepinov in the UK

      Sepimax zen when make it jiggle like a gel. Also, Sepimax Zen can only withstand up to 4% Glycolic acid. You'd have to decrease the glycolic acid if you use sepimax zen.

    What can I use in place of sepinov

    • @curlytea
      @curlytea  2 роки тому +2

      For me, I think Sepinov EMT 10 is the least problematic ingredient to use here. It holds the emulsion together, even at a very low pH, working with this percentage of glycolic acid. I haven't found any other polymer that works as well, with the same cushiony feel, that you won't have to babysit and worry about pH over time.

    Plz make vitamin c and retinol also

    • @curlytea
      @curlytea  4 роки тому

      Vitamin C is so tricky to work with though. It probably wouldn't do any good to make an 8 oz batch of a vitamin c product as the Vitamin C would likely oxidize before you could use it all.
