She’s asked like 5 times now in her videos if she should show us chicken chores and every time I answer yes! Hoping she sees your comment and how we all want it!
I love all your videos! Indoor plants, chickens, outside chores, anything with your boys, including Ryan, and, of course, Bismarck!! I even enjoy the good bugs in your terrarium!!😂
😂That is SO me every month on Amazon..."ugh what can I take off, but nooooo I need that stuff" and then 💀 at checkout lol. Also your reaction to the grasshopper is me with spiders. Well, actually I do a lot of screaming & running first🤭 but then I grab my Ortho Home Defense (only used indoors!!🤷🏽♀️) and go to war!! Oh and I'm completely cool with nonplant stuff on here. I'd love to see more of the chickens! 🐔💚✌🏽
Harli I love you! If only I were 30 years younger lol. That out of the way... this chores vid was great. I enjoyed the athletic watering and the stubborn jade... speaking of which, I have a jade that I've put into a square 2" high box. The plant sits in less than half an inch of substrate and to support it I've covered the roots with two flat rocks. So, it really doesn't need a lot of root/soil ;) I'd watch the chicken stuff once but I'll always watch the plants, so you can put the chickens here or elsewhere, it doesn't matter as long as the plant shenanigans stay. Take care.
Repotting that Jade was so relatable! I swear, some of these plants are so root bound, you have to use your entire body to get them out of their old pot. 😂
Thank you for sharing your method for stabilising a top-heavy plant. I have a HUGE monstera that I am struggling to keep upright. I’m going to try planting it in a deeper pot. Love your content, so useful to see how you manage your collection day-to-day 💚
this video inspired me to make a list and do some plant chores. it really is soo rewarding taking care of plants that are doing well after cleaning up the messes 🌿
the jade looks stunning in that planter! also I had looked away for a moment when you were unpotting it and I looked back to find you full-body yanking the jade out by its trunk XD lmao
Hah your laundry lives on the coffee table, mine is usually on the end seat on the couch, that no one ever sits in 😂 I'd rather do pretty much anything else as well , but I'm gonna tackle it today. Thanks for this I have so many plant chores to do, thanks for sharing yours 😊
I loved seeing the rhaphidophora decursiva propagation. Mine is sending out a runner I need to propagate so this was really helpful. Would love to see updates on them as they grow later on!
Im glad to see im not the only one who has plants in places where its just a bit more tricky to water..like having to climb a counter, or having them on a shelf juuuust ever so slightly taller than myself. Lol. As always, what a lovely video. Its always fun when you post❤❤
Been following you for years and I’ve always loved the plant chores videos while I get my own chores done. I liked your story time videos, but you haven’t done anything like that for quite a while. I’ve liked your thrifting videos lately where you’ve been finding planty things. I, myself, wouldn’t be interested in chicken videos, but I’ll always be here for plant stuff and any possible story time videos. It keeps me busy and entertained while I get things done.😊
I like all your videos, and they don't have to include plants. I remember jumping up and standing on countertops to reach things. I'm 68 now and I cant do that as easily as I used to, but I want to try.
I think you need a sofa table for behind the sofa... you can even put some sort of plug thing into the table so you can have a plug closer to the end of the sofa 😉 and of all the bugs, grasshoppers probably bother me the least. LOL and you handle spiders! I can't stand them 😅
Hi Harley love your videos love your family I watch your mom too and it's so much fun to see the kids. Just wondering what systemic do you use I have mealybugs and thrip and I'm having trouble getting rid of them?
Oh this is fun, I just spent my Friday doing this as well and I just felt so plantie-productive! I took my Scin. pic. exotica that was root bound in a hanging basket and cut the root ball back and moved her into a plastic liner pot. I have this Target Home catalina med. serving bowl that got chipped and I did a repair on. It was such a nice cobalt blue and white bowl I just could not let it go so I fixed it and now you can't even see the repair with the giant exotica leaves waterfalling over the bowl top. The silvery green / cobalt blue is stunning together now. Then I potted a Coleus clearance Walmart find and keep it as a house plant as well as a Monstera stanliana albo variegata I rescued from a table of rabid Sago palms. That albo was like "If someone does not get me outta here this wild tribe of Sago's are gonna poison me!" I seem to be in love with the Better Homes and Gardens blue glazed planters from the past two seasons cause at this point I have a entire Ikea blue / green wave on the shelving. For some reason blue/white / green is very calming to me.
I just found your channel and it was interesting that I need to transplant a root bound Jade plant and there it is. I do have a question that has nothing at all to do with plants. Where did you get the planner you use. Really like the checker board type pages I am going to go and watch some more of your videos Oh put all info on one channel.
Was the shelf an IKEA by chance? I feel like you said back in the day but I forget and I’m looking for something like it. Ironically for my larger Hoya. 😂

7:49 perfection💁🏾♀️🤩 19:40 oh no😂😂 I love grassy hoppys
Great video Harli, I love to see you doing plant chores because it gives me ideas on what I can also do. I do that with my top heavy plants, I also like to propagate alot of my plants. I like the variety of videos that you share. I still have my plant list and will be looking for those plants soon. Have a beautiful and blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😊🥰🐓🐔🪴🍂🌵🦋💝💖💕💜💜
I have chickens as well and would love some chicken 🐓 vids!! I have Turkens and a red rooster. Not sure of his breed, he’s an old boy and we had him a few years
Have you ever lived with those giant water bugs (roaches!)? 8 would love one of your raphidaphora cuttings when they root! Guess I don't know your plant shop??
_Please,_ I have a really serious question for you, I NEED you & the whole amazing community to give me feedback & suggestions.🤞 Thank you in advance! Across the street is a medium sized supermarket, it is extremely expensive at this particular chain of stores. So, imagine my shock when I ran into that store, for 1 sale item, some of their bigger plants are on sale for only $13 each. No joke, 2 weeks ago these exact plants were $40/each!! As I looked them over they have a _huge_ type of philodendron with 3" round stems!, a beautiful bunch of Alocasia's all with babies (so 3 for the price of 1?), veragated Monstaris with 2" stems, & a few more types. The catch is... they are infested with spider mites for absolute sure. Those, I witnessed, there are possibly others I missed? QUESTION: What do I do? Should I even bother purchasing any of these big ol' beauties? Im not kidding when I say these plants are NEVER this price. I'm in Canada & plants cost a ton in my neck of the woods. Do I leave them alone, forget about ever owning this type of plant? I don't have _any_ plant pests right now, in my home or in the potted plants I placed in my outside garden. Should I buy some & treat them outside, while the weather is good? *_HELP ME, PLEASE SOMEONE! TELL ME WHAT TO DO?_* ❤❤❤
I would not. If you decide to, research and choose one that isn’t typically prone ( e.g.not a palm, not an alocasia) keep it totally isolated from your other plants (separate room or tent) for like a year, treat aggressively. Spider mites can ride you or your animals, so you’d have to be careful. I had a Ti plant that I fought spider mites on for over a year finally just gave up and tossed it and I have zero regrets tossing.
Yes chicken chores and yes, post it here lol 🐔🌿 🐓 🪴🦗🌵
She’s asked like 5 times now in her videos if she should show us chicken chores and every time I answer yes! Hoping she sees your comment and how we all want it!
Yes!!! Do all your videos here! Chickens, life, outdoor stuff, whatever. You are so funny, and I just love your content!
I would love a video on ways to organize and store all plant things that aren’t plants.
I love all your videos! Indoor plants, chickens, outside chores, anything with your boys, including Ryan, and, of course, Bismarck!! I even enjoy the good bugs in your terrarium!!😂
the jade looks amazing in the new pot :))
Agree, that pot is beautiful and works great for the jade!
😂That is SO me every month on Amazon..."ugh what can I take off, but nooooo I need that stuff" and then 💀 at checkout lol. Also your reaction to the grasshopper is me with spiders. I like the cart with all of the coffee stuff on it back by the coffee counter. Glad you decided to put it back
Love plants chores. This was me last night, drinking a few beers and doing repots, watering, and propagating! 😂
Been following you for years and I’ve always loved the plant chores videos while I get my own chores done. I liked your story time videos, but you haven’t done anything like that for quite a while. Yes, would love to see your chicken chores! How’s the treatment for your chicken’s bumblefoot going?
I found that the thrift store in Evanston, Wy has great water catching trays in glass! Many like what you already have and more.
Jose buono looks amazing in that planter ❤
I think you need a sofa table for behind the sofa... you can even put some sort of plug thing into the table so you can have a plug closer to the end of the sofa 😉 and of all the bugs, grasshoppers probably bother me the least. LOL and you handle spiders! I can't stand them 😅
your jade plant is so bountiful and beautiful! both my jades died. That's one succulent I have no luck with.

The jade in its new home is nice!
Yes chicken chores here. I want to get chickens and it would be so helpful
Yes girl! give us chicken content here. I feel as though plants and chickens just go hand in hand as far as hobbies go.

Me too, I’d rather do the plants when they are healthy but unfortunately I’ve got a number of plants that I’m checking for root rot.
I just found your channel and it was interesting that I need to transplant a root bound Jade plant and there it is. I do have a question that has nothing at all to do with plants. Where did you get the planner you use. Really like the checker board type pages I am going to go and watch some more of your videos Oh put all info on one channel.

Do you get mosquitos in the standing prop water?
Chicken chores please!!!! Post here absolutely 💯
Haha I was cringing like Harli don't kill the Jade!😅
You’re going to pull that cupboard door off its frame one day. !
Same with the grasshoppers.. those mfers jump too high and it's terrifying. No ma'am.
I think you should post your chicken chores here! It’s your channel do what you want if people don’t want to watch it they don’t have to 😇
chick-en chores, chick-en chores!
The jade soil may be hydro phobic if it doesn’t absorb.
❤❤❤thank you

Yes! Yes! Yes! To all the videos 🎉
@Harli, do you use Liqui-dirt each time you water.
Most of the time! I’d say like 75-80% of the time
I guess I would have gotten the answer in the video if I waited before I asked...lol.
yei for chickens here!
Chicken chores deserve to be here
Yes! Chicken chores!!
would love to see chicken chores!
