2023 M2 with 2,000 miles
It's been a year since I've driven on Laguna and the track has changed a bit. Recently repaved with certain run-off areas extended further out, the grip levels have definitely increased.
This is the first track event I've taken the M2 to and I found the car to be very capable, but having swapped out for a square setup (making the rears more narrow) and opted for my usual street tire…I think it really limited the car’s performance.
I could insert many driver excuses but ultimately I’m out here to have fun and to learn - a lot of that happened! With so many customizable settings and an endless amount of power, my brain struggled to process new breaking points and less idle time between corners. I can almost say for certain, the ceiling for performance on the G87 is higher than the GR Supra.

Rough alignment specs:
Front: -3 degrees camber w/0 toe
Rear: -2 degrees of camber w/minimal toe-in
Your overlays are quite nice, did you design all of that yourself? I’d like to get something similar set up for when I go to the track.
The overlays are all done by Harrys Lap Timer app. Most of the data shown are not "accurate" but I just turned everything on for fun. A lot of parameters require proper inputs to the app as well as configuration - things I do not want to dabble in at the moment.
A stock Supra with some sort of same mods runs 1:36:3.
The only difference is tires, he runs CRS. Tanspondor times.
Show me your skill for a 1:36:3 on CRS.
I will try to improve. I couldn't get CRS this round - we know there's some issues. But also for a much more stable run, I should switch to wider tires; I am 275 square - factory is 285 rears. The car is quite capable as we all know, there just needs to be more driver mod.
@@nodrogkam Supra is running 275 all around. So the ceiling is clear now.
@@herrickhuang2005 sort of. Weight and power differences are a consideration. I did track a 2022 Supra before. Hehe. Will keep practicing and trying.

Yup! NGL, I like the playfulness but it's a bit much for grip driving.
