You can also get to the filter from the bottom without removing any of those components, you need small girl hands tho lol I accidentally removed it thinking it was the oil filter 😂 yes women work on their cars too lol
Is it easier to get it from underneath? I guess if the car's already up to drain the fluid, might be better to do it that way. I am a girl so my hands should fit 🤣
@@normandcass1113 Yes way easiar from the bottom, im also a girl and haven’t done the transmission filter yet but when i checked under the car it looked a lot more accessible from under the vehicle. i have a transmission fluid leak from the seal on the transmission filter, so i bought one and it’s in the mail.

Thank you for the guide! The factory original filter in my '97 SL2 keeps unscrewing itself and leaking. I am going to be doing this soon.
