(also applies to C-Max 2008-2010). The Ford Finis Code is 1639784. You can buy cheaper generic ones, but you'll have to reuse the plastic frame and re-fix with staples and reattach the gear knob collar. - Авто та транспорт
8 years later and I've just used this video. Would never have know what to do. Thanks
Very well explained. Thankyou
Nicely presented.. just FYI (& others) there are actually Different C-Max Covers - the one you mention (part number 1639784) suitable for C-Max 2008, has the plastic clip underneath & removable Gearknob. The other is Part number(s) 1639781/1639782 where there's no Clip or Spring underneath & the whole gearknob / cover comes off in one go - but it's STILL for C-Max 2008 models.
You did a very Good job . Thenks :)
What's that blue skin? It looks real decent.
It's standard trim on the lower spec mk1 Kuga's. Options are blue or orange, I think the titanium spec Kugas are gloss grey.

My kuga has 115000km on the odometer and now gaitor nr3 is broken..what a shitty part!! I'm trying ebay leather this time.
You can buy alternatives, but you may have to use the frame from the original part to attach the leather to (the bit with staples?) I have seen it done. My gaitor was cracked when I got the Kuga at ~20k miles, I actually superglued it for a couple of years before just replacing it with a Ford part off t'internet ...
Next time, just try not to show your credit card number with validation trigram on a video ;)
:)
Have a thumbs down for the wanky music ALL the way through the video.
Glad to hear the music gave you relief' for some of your 'frustrations' ;-)
