I love her but I don't like where she's heading. I feel she's being fashioned into a generic American Soul/Winehouse clone and that's a major betrayal. Thank you for yet another fantastic Angelina reaction, Andy. Wasn't that amazing? When this came out on November 6th, I cried all day for three reasons. First, because of the excitement over the release of Angelina's first single from Republic Records. Second, because of the sheer beauty of "Million Miles" - the music, the lyrics, the production quality and, most importantly, Angelina's astounding voice! Third, I went back to reminisce with some of my favorite reactors over the years (including you). Although I had viewed these reactions many, many times in the past, watching them now in light of this important milestone in Angelina's life and career was very emotional for me. I felt like a father paging through the family photo album after having just given his daughter away at her wedding. The poignant memories about Angelina's youth are now colored with the knowledge that she has grown up and taken a huge step in her life. While we will follow and support her in whatever the future holds, she will always be the little girl we have come to know and love. Could someone please pass the tissues??

I love her but I don't like where she's heading. I feel she's being fashioned into a generic American Soul/Winehouse clone and that's a major betrayal. It's a reflection of someone else's limited narrow erudition and not where SHE would naturally develop. She's surrounded by ambitious mediocrities who are doing what they do: attach to greatness then lower the standard. Our world does not need another blues scale pinch throated chest singer.

Thank you for yet another fantastic Angelina reaction, Andy. Wasn't that amazing? When this came out on November 6th, I cried all day for three reasons. First, because of the excitement over the release of Angelina's first single from Republic Records. Second, because of the sheer beauty of "Million Miles" - the music, the lyrics, the production quality and, most importantly, Angelina's astounding voice! Third, I went back to reminisce with some of my favorite reactors over the years (including you). Although I had viewed these reactions many, many times in the past, watching them now in light of this important milestone in Angelina's life and career was very emotional for me. I felt like a father paging through the family photo album after having just given his daughter away at her wedding. The poignant memories about Angelina's youth are now colored with the knowledge that she has grown up and taken a huge step in her life. While we will follow and support her in whatever the future holds, she will always be the little girl we have come to know and love. Could someone please pass the tissues??

Te los cuento en mi punto de vista y porque hacen de esta adolecente (quizas) la mejor cantante de todos los tiempos. 1) Plasticidad. Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to Jazz at early age. Mery is famous Iranian contemporary writer, poet and painter who was also child prodigy herself being on Radio Iran's Children program at age 4 and began writing poetry and painting by age of 9. Later Mery was trained in art at Tokyo Academy in Japan where she met her husband, who was Japanese, during her master degree's training in Japan. In a recent article in American Songwriter, Angelina said this about making this recording: “When I was in the booth, while I was singing, my tears were running ....To be honest, it was like a feeling of relief that all my feelings were written down and I felt relieved. “Million Miles” means a lot to me because it is relevant to these difficult times. I definitely want to share my love to everyone, and I hope that people can connect with it and relate to the story behind the song.” This song will touch so many people who have experienced loss during this horrible pandemic, so I would say it is very timely.
