Moría porque escucharas esta canción. "A un millon de millas de distancia, halando contigo mi corazón como una burbuja vacía, y no lo puedo detener, pero en mi corazón sé, que nunca estoy sola" Esta canción la ha compuesto para su abuelo que falleció no hace mucho (1 año a lo más creo?) y quien ha dejado un gran vacío en su joven corazón. Por eso le canta con tanto sentimiento. Amo la letra y amo como ha elaborado el tema. Bien decis, que no necesita de los embelecos en la canción pero de haberlos, es puro marketing; como ahora canta bajo la disquera Republic, suelen hacer estos extras que a veces pueden ser demás. Ceci thank you for your reaction to Angelina Jordan’s videos. Of all the reactors I’ve watched, yours are by far the most educational and professional reactions. She dedicated this song to her grandfather who passed away in 2018 and to all who lost a loved one.
Happy Birthday Angelina, May you have continued success on your vocal journey. I have been enchanted by Angelina’s voice since I first heard her singing on Norway’s Got Talent. I’m 81 years young and have heard some of the jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Nina Simone, Billie Holliday and Sarah Vaughan. Angelina Jordan’s name will join this group of singers it’s just a matter of time. She is young and has a great future. I enjoy your reaction to Angelina because it shows you enjoy her vocals as much as we do.

Ceci I totally agree with you. Angelina has a voice that catches the listener and won't let you escape. She is therapy for my soul.
And she has musically travelled "a million miles" from her start at Norway got talent. And still just a young woman ,15 years of age.
I forgot now who it was who said this, but _"When music repeats itself it has to be performed differently. Not because you want to make a variation or a question & answer kind of effect, but because the second time you're a few seconds older and wiser, and the music has to reflect this growth"_ - and this is exactly what she does, all the time, with every song

@@CECIDOVER , Sorry if I misled you. I haven't heard anything about a new album, and don't know when, it's just that I'm looking forward to it, whenever it may be released. I have a fairly large vinyl album collection, and one by Angelina would be the "Crown Jewel".
@@AJfanboy1 Angie released an album/CD a few years ago called "It's Magic" I think it was # 1 for a time on the Jazz category.
She is in the making of her new album with REPUBLIC RECORDS. I think she is recording now at Stargate Studio in Venice CA.
@@ooshta, Yes, I have that one. It took forever to get here from Norway. I'd settle for an album with a couple of her best covers, but I would sincerely hope they would offer it on vinyl for some of us older fans. I followed a young lady for a while that won American Idol, she signed with Disney. Her first (and only that I am aware of) "Album", was only available on download and streaming. Yes, I understand things are changing, but that stopped me from buying her album. I want something I can hold in my hand, when I make a purchase.

grandmother, Mery Zamani, who was Persian. Also, Zamani was also a
child prodigy (artist) and is world famous for her artistic representations.

as much as her grandmother and I would lean toward Angelina's
original love for jazz came from her. I still remember her cheering

I understand that it was not your intention. You wrote "Mery Zamani, who was Persian", which would suggest she is no longer Persian. That would only be possible if she is not alive anymore, which she is.
It has been a lot of talk about who AJ wrote million miles to. Some think it is her grandfather (correct) and others think it was a grandmother. Some think it's either a grandfather or a grandmother.
A mis-used "was" at the wrong place may contribute to such a confusion. That's why I commented on that.

"I'll have an important name in the music industry and to make timeless music that can live forever. Also to give the best music experience to people and for them to enjoy and feel emotional or dance or make memories with the music I make."
Thank you Ceci. I love following you. Angelina wrote this song for her late grandfather but it fits nicely for anyone who has lost a loved one. She does all her own arranging and even makes all her own clothes. She is truly an Angel.

Monica, no es la primeira canción que escribe. Antes de esa ya tiene "What is Life", "Oslo" y "Shield" 😉 Este su abuelo falleció cerca del final 2019. A su otro abuelo, que falleció en la segunda mitad de 2018, le dedicó su interpretación de "You Are Always On My Mind".

Love your breakdown, keep them coming.(Happy Birthday Angie) Angie has special rare God given abilities, like AP, timing, tremolo, her musicality & Music intelligence are off the charts already, etc etc etc. (Angie never sings the same song twice as you'll see as you dive deeper into the Angie rabbit hole) Even when she sang this song on the official lyric video was even different. She wrote this shortly after her other grandpa died in Nov. 2019, she was 13. Angie wrote this shortly after his death & recorded it this year at 14. Angie & her grandma did the art for the official lyric video. Angelina said, “This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in you heart, as it comes straight from mine”. I agree with you: she doesn't need the effects. When I first heard this song it didn't sound like the pure Angelina I loved. It sounded engineered. It's Angelina's voice I love, not technical overlays. I hope they don't ruin her career with this commercialization. It takes away from her.

Hi again Ceci, You'd think this would of been released all over the world as her single. But it was only released in 2 countries, very briefly. In Spain & Australia. Sad isn't it, this could of been song of the year easily. I wonder what Republic records is up to. Yes, Angelina is most likely adding "commercial" touches now that she is under a recording label. Sounds great to my ears however. It's a fitting tribute to the relationship she had with her grandfather. Your commentaries do help understand what is going on "behind the scenes" so to speak. Thanks again!
I've never heard this echo effect after listening many times. I wonder if somehow this might have accidentally been released. Ceci is right that echo is not needed. Just in case you are not aware FYI Angelina wrote this song as a farewell to her recently passed grandfather. It is her first released original from her new record label Republic Records
