I am not a mechanic, first time doing it. Total install took about 1 1/2 hours for a first timer. Dealerships and their quotes can kiss my a**.
Note: My battery died during new pipe assembly and installation. So steps are:
- Lay out the new pipes on a blanket and assemble, using your clamps but don't tighten it all the way leave them loose.
- Install the new bracket. At this point your 2 new pipes should be complete with the bracket (4 screws hold it).
- Then just install the pipes back into the cylinder exhaust ports (front & back using 2 screws you removed earlier just reverse it).
- Once its all in position and mounted properly, then go ahead and fasten it all down.

@Hasan ALSADIK nah you don't need the tuner or the air cleaner unless you are trying to improve the motor performance! If you are only after the sound, you will have no problem swapping out your exhaust. Hope that helps.
Appreciate this video - thanks! Going to replace the exhaust on my Fatboy S with V&H Super Radius and wanted to see it done before I start wrenching on my bike. Not about to spend $85 / hr at the dealership for something that I can do in just a coupl'a hours.
You are very welcome brother, glad it could help to motivate you. It's no big deal really, before you know it you'll be putting in your intake and fuelpak in no time. That's what I ended up doing shortly after but failed to record videos. Also swapped my handle bars for 14" apes with 1" spacers. :-) Let me know how it goes!
Great bike Aldin! I just bought the same once but someone told me that I must buy a super tuner and also an air cleaner in order to make the bike runs right.
Thanks for the video. Shame about the battery running out, but i was really looking for a sound check with those pipes, and this was great for that. I'm going to be putting the chrome versions on my 2015 WG. I guess i'll need to start apologizing to my neighbors now.

Did you remember to replace the crush gaskets in your exhaust ports? if not your gonna have some popping on deceleration due to an exhaust leak.
@JoeyYoung - Definitely good advice there. Yes I did get a pair for like $9 at local dealer and popped them in.

ok i need your help at 9.24 sec stop there i got something attach to the exhaust on the left like a butterfly valve running all the way betwen the battery box and the computer box . you don't have that . my is 2011 wide glide . i was try to change the exhaust by myself than i notice a part the two sensor an extra cables attach any help?
Alessandro Fiora Hey brother - Are you talking about the sensor cable going from the exhaust next to battery/through under the seat? You have to unplug it, route it out, remember the way it goes. For the sensors themselves, you'll have to take them out and re-install them in the new pipes (there'll be holes for them to go into). Then just reverse the process on the new pipes route it back in, plug and play. Hope that helps!
Aldin Konjic i know the sensor that is easy. on 2011 fxdwg i got an extra cable which I'm puzzle how to take off from under seat from exhaust is impossible . i will send you a photo at some point. thanks to replay
Alessandro Fiora Sounds like you have an Active Exhaust that the Euro models have on the stock pipes. Google it or use your service manual for it. I'm sure you can TTS it. Hope that helps! #harleydavidson #bigradius
i took everything off now. it call active exhaust cable housing which can be remove by undue the two screw next to the battery cover
