The new owners of the things you make must be really pleased to see how much work and care is involved in creating them. Also, unlike some channels, the music adds to, rather than detracts from the enjoyment. I am an admirer.

A relaxing Saturday morning, with a great project and video. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and post them. Thumbs up.

I do enjoy your videos, you are a seasoned maker and a joy to watch. I look forward every Saturday morning to watch them. Your narrative during the videos is a big part of your videos. I hope this was just an experiment. I much rather hear your voice explaining as you build. You have such a soothing voice. Timothy

Interestingly, this was done at your old shop. Beautiful work, some lucky dogs will have a new bed. Nicely done.

Well, we do have 2 things in common. 1 The love of upcycling lumber and 2 the glue bottle. Your skill set and tools to hand are way out of my grasp ATM. Thanks for all you do. Take care & stay safe.

I watch Epic Upcycling a lot on here. He does such amazing work with old furniture and pallets. Mostly with hand tools too.

Beautifully built, beautifully chosen camera angles and music. All in all rather beautifully done. I enjoyed it. Not like you to leave the comments empty, hope all's ok and you're just very busy working. Either way, thanks for sharing this backlog piece.

    Very cool.
I was a little surprised by the divider, since initially it looked like you were going for "angry malamute" level resiliency w/ the joinery, and I assumed this was for a large breed. I could imagine my dog getting an attitude about being let in/out second, too. It's beautiful work, though. Gotta say I'm a little inspired. 🙂

Cool project, though I miss your voiceover. They're always informative, and you've got the nicest voice in UA-cam woodworking.

As others have noted, great music. Very enjoyable for a Saturday morning. I know it seems counterintuitive but I always seem to get better stain results when I first put on a coat of shellac. Might not make any difference for really straight grained wood but anything with a few knots has end grain on the face surface. That takes stain differently. I guess it could depend a bit on the stain one uses. Despite that, I am always a bit disappointed with my stain results. I guess I need more practice.

Great dog crate. It could sit anywhere in a house and not be an eyesore. I noticed it must have been quite cold when you made this, do you have any difficulties with the wood working in the cold weather?
