    I saw the shorts you put out of this project and thought what a wonderful gift, something that will give great joy for years, I am glad you built it tough you obviously know how hard kids treat things, this reminds me of a wardrobe and built in dressing table I built for my daughter many years ago from what was to be firewood scraps from a sawmill, my father in law who used to cut and sell fire wood thought I was mad but he changed his mind when he saw the end result, looking forward to the next episode 👌👌👌👍👍👍🇦🇺

    Here I am, a member of the USMC community, and normally "Hold my beer" is followed by explosions...but there it was, 26 seconds in - love it!

    Good morning HB, I saw those shoes in a previous video and thought those must be your nieces. Maybe she'll start woodworking with you. Another enjoyable and educational video. I owe you an apology for not getting back to you about the floor levelers, the truth is the next day I forgot all about it. Humbly Timothy

    Quel dommage que nous n ayons pas ce type de scie circulaire en France. Le fait de pouvoir superposer plusieurs lames ,ouvre de plus grande perspectives.
    Toujours de beaux projets très variés.

      Thanks, I have heard you can’t get dado stacks in certain countries. Such a shame. I use them on every build and find them to be safer cuts since the blade is usually covered.

    • @emm_arr
      @emm_arr 9 місяців тому

      @@HoneyBadgerWoodWorks Yeah. That's true in the EU - for home equipment at least - the reasoning seemingly being that injuries are multiples of times worse than with a single blade. They make the arbor too short for the dado stack.
      As a contractor saw owner, I'd have tosay that's probably reasonable.
      Great build. Someone's really going to enjoy that.

    Delightful build, delightful aunt. It's very interesting to see you build a very quick piece and how that changes aspects of the process. Thank you for sharing this - warts and all. It's really useful for me.

    I dont know, I feel like the kind of people who have the room for something like that for their daughter and enjoy that aesthetic are probably the kind of people who can afford such a product.

    • @HoneyBadgerWoodWorks
      @HoneyBadgerWoodWorks  9 місяців тому +2

      I’m sure there is someone out there that could afford this, but that person wouldn’t be buying the plans to build it which is why I decided not to take the time to make plans for this one.

    • @HoneyBadgerWoodWorks
      @HoneyBadgerWoodWorks  9 місяців тому

      @@GamerNxUSN That's cool. I sometimes make plans for these builds, but I was saying for this one the cost to make it would be so high it wasn't really worth it. Especially if you don't have all the scrap materials I had.

    Hi 👋, Honey 🍯 Badger 🦡, I hope you are keeping safe and well, That is a beautiful project, she should be extremely happy with what you have made, 🎉, Happy Birthday 🥳 to her, that is a great box joint jig, that you have made, shame about the small mistake, but it shows your skills how to put it correct, it did stiffen the piece of ply up, I know it’s extra time, but when I was doing things like this, I would lay the components out and make them, but it will save you in the long run , you should be very proud of your achievement , It is great when you are building something and you enjoy doing it, I see you’re still got that step in the driveway, I hope you can resolve the issue without spending too much money, Look forward to seeing the next stage of this product, hope you have a great weekend. Stay safe, Phil from the moulin,
